"COELIAC We ordered a takeaway on route to the New Forest for our holiday. I found this gem from reccomendations from social media after lots of coeliac said they do a Gluten free menu and treat allergies very seriously. We ordered so much food as I took advantage of not having had a chinese in sooooooo long but this was SO GOOD and generally one of the best Chinese’s I have ever had. (Please get the Singapore noodles salt and chilli chicken they were to die for!!!!! We had our campervan and they even let us sit and eat our takeaway in the van in the carpark. "this is the best chinese in edinburgh. that is not saying tons, cause it just aint that good here. you want indian, you got the best, chinese is just ehhh. there is one thing they have here which i havent seen in other countries and pretty much the only reason to come here. crispy seaweed. its genius. ive been told its really just fried cabbage, but i dont really believe that. it doesnt matter what it is, it is crispy, flaked perfection with a funky herb thingy on it and peanuts. nothing else is spectacular but get the noodles instead of the rice, not bad. the crispy shredded beef is probably the best and also part of the various set meals you can get if you are dining with others. sit in and delivery. if you get over a certain amount of food, they give you extra crap, ranging from those fish cracker things to an entire second entre, and you dont have to get that much, like 12 or 15 quid worth. good location on the shore in leith, makes a great sunday night to then play pub trivia at the cameo bar or just grab a pint across the street after at carriers quarters."

"Toro Noodles offers delicious food that I have enjoyed multiple times with family and friends. However, my visits have been less frequent due to a discouraging experience with one of the older staff members, who appears to be around 40 years old. This staff member consistently portrays a cold demeanor, never smiles, and barely acknowledges customers when spoken to. He particularly seems to exhibit disdain towards mothers with strollers, as he has indicated there is no room for them even when the restaurant is not busy. The lack of customer service and unpleasant attitude of this individual detracts from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience at Toro Noodles. It is perplexing why someone like him is employed at this establishment."

"I went to this restaurant for lunch and was extremely disappointed. The place was very small and cramped, with tables placed closely together. I ordered meat spring rolls for a starter but there was not much meat in them, mostly just bean sprouts. For my main meal, I chose sweet and sour chicken and chicken curry. The sweet and sour chicken had very few pieces of chicken and was mostly peppers and onions, while the chicken curry had a watery sauce with a few pieces of chicken, mainly onions. The rice was the only thing that was enjoyable. No one checked in to see if we were enjoying our food, and when I mentioned my disappointment to the waitress, she seemed uninterested and only wanted to quickly get the bill paid. I will not be returning to this restaurant."
