"A reasonable buffet experience not far apart from the run of the Mill however the pictures make it look like an up market Chinese serving what looks like really good food however we chose the buffet. everything was going well we ate the starters we got the Duck but when it came to ordering in the mains the staff member turns round and says you haven't finished the Duck you need to finish the duck before you move on I looked at him puzzled and said politely there's just bones there and fat we've eaten all the meat he look surprised he looked at me removed the dish with an experience waiter he should have seen what was left on the plate we were allowed to continue absolutely disgusted how dare he decide whether we've cleared our plate like children we refuse to pay the so-called 10% service charge which these restaurants are being very cleverly adding onto the bill the right to remove wasn't an option we were told we would do it kindly this time but next time we won't sorry for this place they won't be a next time we won't be coming back what these places need to remember that everybody that's coming in has paid the stupid £14 pounds to come into Portsmouth clean air payment and then have to put up a stupidness like this you're meant to come here for a good time not leave disappointed ..... about time review read and what a complete waste of time your response was eat as much as you can we did we cleared the plates I do hope this is put everybody off going here there's a shame I didn't read the reviews before I went myself what an embarrassment"

"COELIAC We ordered a takeaway on route to the New Forest for our holiday. I found this gem from reccomendations from social media after lots of coeliac said they do a Gluten free menu and treat allergies very seriously. We ordered so much food as I took advantage of not having had a chinese in sooooooo long but this was SO GOOD and generally one of the best Chinese’s I have ever had. (Please get the Singapore noodles salt and chilli chicken they were to die for!!!!! We had our campervan and they even let us sit and eat our takeaway in the van in the carpark. "After reading some poor reviews I was a little worried about ordering from here but I honestly needn't have been. I ordered my usual chicken curry, egg fried rice, chow mein, prawn crackers and chips. We also ordered some chicken nuggets and cheesy chips for a fussy teenager who's not big on Chinese food! Everyone was really happy with their orders! All very tasty, the curry had lots of chicken and the chow mein was full of flavour. Overall couldn't really fault it and will definitely be using Bento Box again."

"this is the best chinese in edinburgh. that is not saying tons, cause it just aint that good here. you want indian, you got the best, chinese is just ehhh. there is one thing they have here which i havent seen in other countries and pretty much the only reason to come here. crispy seaweed. its genius. ive been told its really just fried cabbage, but i dont really believe that. it doesnt matter what it is, it is crispy, flaked perfection with a funky herb thingy on it and peanuts. nothing else is spectacular but get the noodles instead of the rice, not bad. the crispy shredded beef is probably the best and also part of the various set meals you can get if you are dining with others. sit in and delivery. if you get over a certain amount of food, they give you extra crap, ranging from those fish cracker things to an entire second entre, and you dont have to get that much, like 12 or 15 quid worth. good location on the shore in leith, makes a great sunday night to then play pub trivia at the cameo bar or just grab a pint across the street after at carriers quarters."

"This was our second visit to the restaurant and it will definitely not be our last. The atmosphere was great and we had lots of fun celebrating my wife's Birthday. After the meal, everyone sang Happy Birthday, and then a confetti bomb went off. The kids were given silly string to spray all over, especially my wife and me. "Toro Noodles offers delicious food that I have enjoyed multiple times with family and friends. However, my visits have been less frequent due to a discouraging experience with one of the older staff members, who appears to be around 40 years old. This staff member consistently portrays a cold demeanor, never smiles, and barely acknowledges customers when spoken to. He particularly seems to exhibit disdain towards mothers with strollers, as he has indicated there is no room for them even when the restaurant is not busy. The lack of customer service and unpleasant attitude of this individual detracts from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience at Toro Noodles. It is perplexing why someone like him is employed at this establishment."
