"Toro Noodles offers delicious food that I have enjoyed multiple times with family and friends. However, my visits have been less frequent due to a discouraging experience with one of the older staff members, who appears to be around 40 years old. This staff member consistently portrays a cold demeanor, never smiles, and barely acknowledges customers when spoken to. He particularly seems to exhibit disdain towards mothers with strollers, as he has indicated there is no room for them even when the restaurant is not busy. The lack of customer service and unpleasant attitude of this individual detracts from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience at Toro Noodles. It is perplexing why someone like him is employed at this establishment."

Loads of chilis good beer, really friendly staff, karaoke in the back and hot pot. What more could you want? Make sure you try the smacked cucumber.

I've been here a few times and never dissapointed. Food is really good and authentic. The only thing I would not recomend is ramen, but its just my opinion, otherwise its a great choice.

Love this place. Been before for ktv only (messy night) but this time with my wife for a rare night away from the kids. Sumptuous fresh food with great service. I even got to try out my appalling level of Chinese with the staff, who were very encouraging. Great stuff.

I've been visiting Toro for years, thefood quality is above average in Bristol, but one of their older male staff has been a really annoying character. I was trying to ignore him and only focusing on my food. But now I feel this man has turning to a unbearable irritating character in the restaurant. I wouldn't visit Toro again until this man leave the team. View menu

The food at this restaurant was fantastic, with a real authentic taste and excellent service. However, the prices were a bit steep. We ordered 1 sharing bowl of noodles, 2 starters, 2 Cokes, and 1 beer, which came to a total of £56. The sharing bowl of noodles alone was over £30, which was a bit of a disappointment. Despite the high prices, we couldn't fault the quality of the food.

This restaurant is underrated and extremely good. For those that way inclined it also comes with a few karaoke booths with infinite music selection. We visit this restaurant on a weekly basis and the food is always to a very high standard and the portions are also good. It is good value for the prices of the dish. The staff are also very helpful and will take your choices into account when recommending dishes. Overall I would rate this restaurant as excellent and perhaps one of only two of the best Chinese restaurants in Bristol.

This is my second review. This time we threw ourselves to the mercy of the staff. We said we wanted to eat like their 'regulars ' do. So this meant the 3 of us ordered 8 items off a checklist. We were then served everything in a large hotpot. Sounds weird, but it worked and also a lot of fun as we all dipped in to select our mouthfuls one bite at a time. Served with rice. Staff seemed to enjoy helping us whiteys, adding to the very pleasant experience. Including a couple of drinks for Mal and I, £20 per head. No doubt this will be our default Chinese anytime we 're off to a show or gig in the area. Highly recommended. View menu

Went here with my Chinese partner on a Saturday night. Place was quite full and everyone except me and one other were Chinese. Had what they call the ‘flavoursome pot’ where you choose the content from a tick list. The food is spicy and one of the choices on the tick list was the degree of spiciness you want low, medium or high. I chose medium but the waitress advised I went low if I wasn’t used to the food. So I did, and it was quite spicy enough. Don’t choose the high unless it’s for a bet. The food was good for a change from the usual Chinese, the restaurant was nice but not smart. Recommend it as long as you take on board what to expect

It's a cliché but true; first thing we noticed when we arrived was the place was full of Asian folks. That reassured me from the start. I found the menu a little confusing so was happy to defer to the ladies to sort out our meal. And that worked really well. I can't really say why but the food was quite different to usual Chinese fare. And in a good way. In particular the spicy prawns had a fiery heat flavour quite unlike anything I'd tasted before. It was delicious. Surroundings are basic but comfortable. Staff attentive but unobtrusive. We seemed to be the only group drinking alcohol; bottle of Aussie pinot grigio £13. All in all £25 per head including tip. I really enjoyed it and will hap...

"Visited here in Sept 23 for an executive dinner that we were hosting for various senior business leaders. We booked out the whole venue, which was the perfect size and atmosphere for the intimate and exclusive feel that we wanted, plus a convenient location. The TV that shows into the kitchen was fascinating, and the record player was put to use towards the end of the evening! Caroline from the venue helped us organise the event in advance and was great to deal with. We were fortunate with the weather so were able to enjoy a welcome drinks reception out the front of the venue, and have the door open all evening to let the balmy night in. We had the 7 course taster menu and it was simply OUTSTANDING so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was, particularly the beef steak course! It was so tasty that I even enjoyed the fish dish (not usual for me! . Service on the night was exemplary, the courses were brought out at just the right intervals so you weren't waiting ages but also not being rushed. The chef came out to greet us after the final course, which was a lovely touch and meant we could thank him. Overall, we had really great feedback from our guests, everyone loved it thank you for making our event such a success! We would definitely book again, and I know a few of our guests have already recommended it to their own companies for executive dinners! Would not hesitate to recommend."
