"Before ordering, read the reviews. Something I didn't do and I regret. I chose this place through Just eat, as I had an approximate delivery time of 30 to 50 minutes, which was the shortest of all the food to take, however, when I made the order, it was 1. 5 hours to wait. Well, the time came and he left. I had a delivery exit soon, but after 20 minutes there was no sign, so I called and I was informed that I was ready for delivery, so I said I'd wait a bit longer. When I didn't get here yet and I tried to return the call but I couldn't communicate as if they had blocked my number. So I sent a message through the Just Eat app and received one back saying they were busy and that the order would be with me shortly. Then they must have lied when I first called. The food finally came 1. 5 hours after its expiry. Pushed in my hand by the delivery driver without apologies. So a total of 3 hours from the order. I'd like to say it was worth the wait. But far from that. The food was warm, which makes me think I'd been at a counter for a long time. It was insipid and everything had a taste like they washed it with dirty water. The crunchy meat with chili had not seen a chili. I requested a refund of money that they rejected by sending a message apologized for the delay, but they will not refund the money and I hope I enjoyed the food. Well, New World if you read this. No, I didn't enjoy it. It ended up in the bin."

"I ordered just after 5pm when they opened so had high hopes of hot fresh food. Bitterly disappointed. Yak!!!! The sauces were cold and the food was barley warm and had zero flavour. No flavour!!!!! ALL the food I ordered tasted like it had been in the freezer for years and heated up as the order comes in. I just want this food out my body. I don’t even want to drive past this place as the memory of what I ate might come back. Horrible. Horrible food. "Ordered through Just Eat and they added an extra 15 minutes to the order. Phoned them 10 minutes after estimated delivery time; the woman told me that they were actually very busy today and that they were waiting on the delivery driver to return so it should only be 15 minutes. 30 minutes later it hadn 't arrived so I cancelled the order. The restaurant accused me of refusing to answer the door and accept the delivery a blatant lie. So, I walked along the road and went to Gorgie Fish Bar. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!"

"We've had deliveries twice when visiting our daughter, both on Saturday nights. The first time the order wasn't quite right and they forgot our free prawn crackers, but the second time it was perfect. On both occasions the food turned up on time and was hot and tasty, good sized portions and very good value, except the prawn curry the prawns were swimming in the curry sauce, unlike the chicken curry which was great!"

We ordered: Prawn Crackers 8/10 Prawns Tempura 10/10! Amazing! Sauce was lovely! Really nice, very flavoursome! This is coming from someone who is very picky when it comes to sea food! Get this! Squid 8/10 Beef Ramen 10/10 Noodles have a rich flavour. chicken Saty 10/10! All that! Grilled Satay! Amazing! Get this! Comfort food! Worth getting 2 potions of this! "Came here for my wife's birthday this evening, we were seated upstairs and were looked after by Swizel Rodriguez, who was simply lovely to us all evening. She had decorated the table with some birthday ribbons and banners and gave it all a real personal touch, almost as if being welcomed into her own home. Elsewhere the service was very good, our food drinks came out in good time not too fast not too slow. We both had medium 12oz rib eye steak... The nicest flavoured steak I've had in a long time, I almost didn't want to put the peppercorn sauce on (but I love peppercorn sauce, so I did! . To finish we had desserts brought by the rest of the H.K team who sung happy birthday to my wife. An all round lovely evening at a place I can't fault. 10/10."

"love that you can order dishes from different menus! we sat on the terrace and order a mix of tasty things, including the Kimchi-Fries that were incredible! the terrace was beautiful and the heating kept us toast. I was on a date. "with a distance the worst service and the food I've ever had. waited hours for dinner. it came, cold, stale and tasting vile. I called less than a minute after the arrival to be called a lousy and that eating was fresh. now, if they. hard chips, soggy and cashews, undercooked batteries on chicken balls, chewing duck and stodgy chow mine, (what was all stone cold) fresh then clear they are deceived. eating is disgusting. they are interested in knowing when friteurs were last cleaned. I have tried to call several times to talk to the manager/owner, but they are never there when I call. I hate to write bad critikens because I am not a smoker eater, and it takes a lot for me to write one, but they did nothing to make this right, refused to give me my money back or to replace the food. shocking!"

"I don’t think we’ll be coming back here often, especially considering the prices. I ordered from Uber Eats last night and had a good experience in the past, but this time was different. As always, I requested no allergens in my order, specifically no sauce, but I found several pieces of the allergen mixed in the food. I got very sick from eating it. I reported the issue to Uber Eats, and they kindly refunded the meal. I appreciate their customer service and understand that mistakes happen. I received a response from I-Krave stating, “Lucy, we don’t use the allergen throughout the process, and it’s free from that ingredient. They might have confused the potatoes for the allergen in the sauce.” While I understand that the food was cooked and sent without delay, I’m disappointed because I’ve consistently found allergen in my meals, as evidenced in the photo. I know the difference between a soft potato and a crispy, thin disc, so I just needed an apology and honesty from them."

"After I had passed the siam cottage for many years a day, but set on our way with another near-by-paurier, I decided one day to review their reviews online. there were a couple who had lived in Thailand for many years, but now live. in perth. they said they often make the 4 hours round trip to eat here, as there are “the most authentic Thai aromes they have tasted with Thai” (or words to this effect). with a selection of Thai Chinese dresses it offers for the whole family. I was always a chicken panang or pad thai type, with my partner more in lemon chicken or similar Chinese dishes. in the course of the years we have worked quite a lot on our wise, although the takeaway menu, various dishes that we otherwise do not have. since every court we have tried was excellent, it is encouraged to take a leap of faith try something new every time. our personal favorite is just now the chicken cashew thai style...a taste sensation! The chicken panang is on the same with everything I tasted in Thailand. the service is always excellent, delivery fast we have a smile a chat at the door hit when it comes. price is also very reasonable in consideration of the portion size, for restaurant quality eat directly to their door, it will not be much better than siam cottage. when collecting an order a night from the restaurant, I noticed that the dishes were delivered to tables, looked out raised, very well presented huge portions. the personal was also very attentively friendly. although in the decor in restaurant, we do not tend to visit restaurants for their facility anyway. we visit eating that customer service is confident that a visit would exceed our expectations. we have not sampled many starters/deserts from the Takeaway menu, so can not comment so much on them. we got starters as soon as they were beautiful, but with the portion size they get on their net pages....3 net, a part rice a part bohnenprout nudeln is a fixed for a family of 4 (two adult, two children). we look forward to our next taste feeling. keep them good work."

"Upon returning from vacation, the kids were craving Chinese food, so we decided to walk to this restaurant to place an order. The person in charge at the front took our order because the Chinese staff were too busy on their tablets. I was initially told it would take 40 minutes, even though there was only one small order ahead of us. They then changed it to 30 minutes, but it ended up taking 55 minutes!!! The quality of the food was so poor that most of it ended up in the trash. We spent £55 on terrible food and service, not to mention that the owner lied to me in order to keep my money. Save yourself the trouble and dine elsewhere."

"Went in here after a long journey from Australia on the way to my AirBnB close by....tried to order but was advised by the person on the counter that all my notes that I had ordered through a major Australian bank before arriving in...Scotland, “looked counterfeit” and would not be accepted, despite having used a same looking note, issued by the same national bank of Australia, earlier in the day. "I ordered from Wan Choi for the first time today and my family and I were not disappointed. We have been stuck ordering limited items from most Chinese takeaway restaurants as we only eat halal. I was pleasantly surprised to find Wan Choi online one evening when I was scrolling though a list of restaurants near me that offer halal food. I read through quite a few of the reviews on google and found most of them to be very positive. I ordered though Just Eat and set a delivery time. I received a call back from Wan Choi just after they opened and they asked if they could deliver a little earlier as they were very busy. The gentleman I spoke to was very polite and professional on the phone and I agreed to the earlier delivery time. The delivery was made at the exact time stated on the phone and all social distancing measures were taken. Driver confirmed the name on the order so as to not deliver to the wrong address and left. The food was all well cooked, sufficiently seasoned and tasted freshly prepared. We ordered quite a few different dishes as we wanted to really try them out. I hope they are consistent with the service and quality of food as our first experience was great. We will be a returning customer for the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend Wan Choi to anyone who only eats halal but also to anyone who doesn’t care either way."

"Was horrible, Will never go again. Me and a friend went to get food from this Chinese. When eating they had a very small selection. And when eating the lemon chicken discovered it was awfully pink and chewy, we complained and staff were horribly rude, we refused to pay and they called there manager, They threatened to call the police on us after we refused to pay for raw chicken so we sat down and waited for the poke to arrive. When we went out to the front entrance the chef/manager with a covid mask on his chin, got all in my friends face saying this is how they cook the chicken and took it off us and ripped it with his teeth right in our faces. Manager shoved my friend when we went to the entrance of the restaurant not even trying to leave) and then locked us inside the restaurant by locking the exit with their keys which is false imprisonment, we are only 16 so couldn’t do much. After getting in our faces and screaming at us I called my stepdad who came storming in because we were locked in and were sweating because of how hot it was inside and felt like we’re gonna pass out. Step dad finally got us out after about 45 minutes of being locked inside. Never had anything quite like it"
