"Me and my friend where starving and I mean STARVING so we decided to give this Chinese a chance, firstly I walked into the shop to see the place was slightly a mess but that didn’t bother me as much as I was hungry, we got home opening our food excitingly as it smelled pleasant, I opened it to discover hell. I ordered a chicken chow main and it was like jelly, even my dog wouldn’t go near it, secondly I got s&p chicken and my mooth was on fireeeee but there was no flavour just spicy, and the chicken was rubber, the curry sauce came in a huge tub and tasted like it was store bought, the chips you only get 6, and the prawn crackers where low-key mid, I will NOT be back here again to pearl of honking now I have depression and have been prescribed anti depression and I have healthy dioreha."

"We arrived with more than 2 hours to spare before our show and were told they needed the table back in an hour which was not a problem. We ordered and there was an hour between courses, despite us having to remind them we still hadn't got our food. Then when it came it was wrong but since all the serving staff disappeared, we had no option but to eat since we were going to be late for our show by this time. Staff were too busy talking among themselves and ignoring our attempts to catch their attention. It was not a cheap meal and I was more than disappointed with everything about the restaurant."

"We decided to try every Chinese restaurant in Gosport in search of our favorite, and we found a clear winner at this one! The food had great flavors, wasn't too salty like some others we've tried, and they offer free delivery and sometimes even free prawn crackers. Highly recommend! Their homemade spring rolls were also delicious."

"After I had passed the siam cottage for many years a day, but set on our way with another near-by-paurier, I decided one day to review their reviews online. there were a couple who had lived in Thailand for many years, but now live. in perth. they said they often make the 4 hours round trip to eat here, as there are “the most authentic Thai aromes they have tasted with Thai” (or words to this effect). with a selection of Thai Chinese dresses it offers for the whole family. I was always a chicken panang or pad thai type, with my partner more in lemon chicken or similar Chinese dishes. in the course of the years we have worked quite a lot on our wise, although the takeaway menu, various dishes that we otherwise do not have. since every court we have tried was excellent, it is encouraged to take a leap of faith try something new every time. our personal favorite is just now the chicken cashew thai style...a taste sensation! The chicken panang is on the same with everything I tasted in Thailand. the service is always excellent, delivery fast we have a smile a chat at the door hit when it comes. price is also very reasonable in consideration of the portion size, for restaurant quality eat directly to their door, it will not be much better than siam cottage. when collecting an order a night from the restaurant, I noticed that the dishes were delivered to tables, looked out raised, very well presented huge portions. the personal was also very attentively friendly. although in the decor in restaurant, we do not tend to visit restaurants for their facility anyway. we visit eating that customer service is confident that a visit would exceed our expectations. we have not sampled many starters/deserts from the Takeaway menu, so can not comment so much on them. we got starters as soon as they were beautiful, but with the portion size they get on their net pages....3 net, a part rice a part bohnenprout nudeln is a fixed for a family of 4 (two adult, two children). we look forward to our next taste feeling. keep them good work."

"Came here for my wife's birthday this evening, we were seated upstairs and were looked after by Swizel Rodriguez, who was simply lovely to us all evening. She had decorated the table with some birthday ribbons and banners and gave it all a real personal touch, almost as if being welcomed into her own home. Elsewhere the service was very good, our food drinks came out in good time not too fast not too slow. We both had medium 12oz rib eye steak... The nicest flavoured steak I've had in a long time, I almost didn't want to put the peppercorn sauce on (but I love peppercorn sauce, so I did! . To finish we had desserts brought by the rest of the H.K team who sung happy birthday to my wife. An all round lovely evening at a place I can't fault. 10/10."

"Upon returning from vacation, the kids were craving Chinese food, so we decided to walk to this restaurant to place an order. The person in charge at the front took our order because the Chinese staff were too busy on their tablets. I was initially told it would take 40 minutes, even though there was only one small order ahead of us. They then changed it to 30 minutes, but it ended up taking 55 minutes!!! The quality of the food was so poor that most of it ended up in the trash. We spent £55 on terrible food and service, not to mention that the owner lied to me in order to keep my money. Save yourself the trouble and dine elsewhere."

"I ordered from Wan Choi for the first time today and my family and I were not disappointed. We have been stuck ordering limited items from most Chinese takeaway restaurants as we only eat halal. I was pleasantly surprised to find Wan Choi online one evening when I was scrolling though a list of restaurants near me that offer halal food. I read through quite a few of the reviews on google and found most of them to be very positive. I ordered though Just Eat and set a delivery time. I received a call back from Wan Choi just after they opened and they asked if they could deliver a little earlier as they were very busy. The gentleman I spoke to was very polite and professional on the phone and I agreed to the earlier delivery time. The delivery was made at the exact time stated on the phone and all social distancing measures were taken. Driver confirmed the name on the order so as to not deliver to the wrong address and left. The food was all well cooked, sufficiently seasoned and tasted freshly prepared. We ordered quite a few different dishes as we wanted to really try them out. I hope they are consistent with the service and quality of food as our first experience was great. We will be a returning customer for the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend Wan Choi to anyone who only eats halal but also to anyone who doesn’t care either way."

"Went in here after a long journey from Australia on the way to my AirBnB close by....tried to order but was advised by the person on the counter that all my notes that I had ordered through a major Australian bank before arriving in...Scotland, “looked counterfeit” and would not be accepted, despite having used a same looking note, issued by the same national bank of Australia, earlier in the day. When I enquired about using eftpos I were advised they didn’t have any. Went across the road and bought a subway with the note with no hassle. Probably a blessing in disguise as the shop looked filthy."

"Overall, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I had been here before and loved the food, but this time was a mixed bag. The portion sizes for the Thai curries were small for the price of £13.50, and rice was an additional cost. My prawn Thai curry only had 2 pieces of courgette and butternut squash in it. On the positive side, the service was quick and efficient, and the food was tasty. I particularly enjoyed the peppered chicken and vegetables, as well as the Prawn and Chive Dim Sum. Plus, Thursday cocktails were only £4 each, and I highly recommend the Bali Mai Tai!"

"we ordered here in the run of the years outlier and eaten several times. When we ate here yesterday morning, we thought we knew what to expect. how wrong we could be. the tofu salad starter was not available. odd, we thought, but we chose something else. the main course, thai green veggie curry, was a real shock. no trace of green in the sauce, no flavor that could be easily discovered absolutely zero chili, coriander etc. I think the cocos milk may had a stick of lemongrass corrugated, and a minute amount of ginger added, but that could think as desired. in short, I would have enjoyed it on a steamed sponge flotation, but it was not a green curry sauce. there was a medium quantity cheaper veg, underdone butternut, no sugar naps, economical or anything to justify the price. we complained, the beautiful waitress had our view of the kitchen. she came back with the botanical that they would give us more veg, but this green curry should be like that! a small bowl, swimming in the same unfavorable sauce appeared neat. green curry isn't green and hasn't even spiced? the place was quite empty, and the other customers saw as impressing as we did. the toilets were dirty, and what I could see from the kitchen did not look much better. we are sorry for the waitress who was very professional and helpful, but must have been emarrassed."

"We visited a fast food restaurant with a comfortable seating area, including high chairs for children (a nice touch). My family and I visited last Saturday afternoon and enjoyed a variety of Indian, Chinese, and standard fast food items such as kebabs and pizzas. Our order was freshly cooked and overall very tasty. "After tonight’s experience I would never recommend this restaurant again, food presented awful soup looked like sick slopped in a pan next to sauces etc, food tasted different, very dry and not pleasant, puddings well what can I say... frozen cheese cake, Eton mess minus meringue and Barely a fruit to be seen, dried up sponge cake, staff arguing, and when we Paid we asked if place had been taken over and the women said it’s not good in here anymore is it (well what more can I say), £25 wasted and down the pan, problem around us also wasting lots of food, wasn’t even worth £5pp with these lack of standards the place will be closed down in no time"
