"We received a £75 credit from OpenTable to use at a restaurant of our choice from a selected list. We decided on SteakInn in Watford, but our experience was disappointing. Despite making an online booking with the provided code for 6:30, we were met with confusion when we arrived. The restaurant felt more like a cheap café, and we were the only patrons there. The waiter seemed unfamiliar with the credit and had to make calls to verify it, causing a lengthy delay. Frustrated and hungry, we eventually left without being served. This was meant to be a special night out, but it turned into a frustrating and anger-inducing experience. I suggest that this place be shut down to prevent others from experiencing the same disappointment. I would give this restaurant zero stars if possible, as we received no food or service. It was a complete scandal."

"This is a great pub just outside Mold. Top place to sit outside and enjoy a few drinks in the sun. Equally as good for a family gathering or food with friends. The food is pretty good. The smoked salmon tortellini was really fresh and light. The ham and cheese croquettes, a bit heavy on the ham and low on the cheese, were slightly large for a croquette but still tasted fine. The chicken, ham and leek pie was delicious. Served with a buttery mash, greens, a carrot and a nice white wine and tarragon sauce. The service was really helpful and friendly. Worth a visit!"

"Very over priced and not happy with description of the order. We ordered on Just eat and wanted to review on there but couldnt for some reason. £12.50 for a big box of chow mein which was the size of a small lunch box that would be £7.50 max any where else. If you are hungary and get good value for money order some where else in Aylesbury for takeaway. Dont use these guys since they are just poor value for money"

"A great experience from start to finish, friendly welcome from the barman on entering and the great level of service continued throughout the evening with the waiter and chef, lovely to go somewhere that is also a locals favourite and you can easily see why. Food was really good, we had the monkfish Thai green curry which was really tasty, great balance of flavours, chips were perfectly cooked and the lamb shank again really well cooked and just great food. So nice to find somewhere that says it’s dog friendly and really means it, my border collie was so comfortable he fell asleep and that doesn’t often happen! Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be back."

"Traveled the whole way from the north with the family. We we're staying in skerries for a few days. Now we're tbh not a fussy bunch but the food was cold they ran out of larger on tap and the Guiness was fizzy???? Plus we were told we had 1hr 30 mins because they needed the table. There was 10 of us so it took 50 mins for the food to come out.On a positive note the steak was the nicest I've tastest in a long time. This is an honest review."

"Didn’t manage to book a table for dinner despite trying at 1pm on arrival day. We were told that too many dogs were booked already and they couldn’t accommodate us with a dog. Only option was to leave our dog behind or eat on table outside where only take away menu is available. We decided against that. We had some takeaway lunch which was tasty. Next day waited 30 minutes for a take away espresso and tea around 10 am!!! Some people didn’t pick up their take away, guess got tired of waiting and left. Orders were shout to outside, perhaps customers didn’t hear it. Generally, place looks great but customer service is poor, perhaps short staffed before season?"

"This is a poor place. Service is horrific, and the staff make up blatant lies lol. I review food as a bit of a laugh on TIk tok and i reviwed this a 3/10 which was generous. Then one of their supervisors who must be about 12 becuase i saw no one there older than a teenager said i was loud and homophobic what a load of absolute waffle, i was dining with my mrs and she has a sister who is a homosexual so she 'd hammer me if i said anything like that. So this is just pure deflection and proper nonsense. wouldnt usually slam a place on google but thats deserved. clowns."

"Honestly one of the worse pubs ever. I have a family of five and often we enjoy going to new pubs and places together, we went on a walk and decided to have a drink which then turned into us having dinner here. All I need to say is hygiene. One of the most unhygienic places EVER. From the moment you enter to the sticky tables and dirty chairs, even the plates we were served on were dirty. Underneath the plate it was covered in food making me think that they were not washing plates in the dishwasher or just rinsing the top because tell me how all of our plates were covered in condiments underneath when we hadn 't ordered starters. We tried to order desserts in which we were told that the Chef needed to go home so we couldn 't. I understand that this is a pub and not a restaurant however if you are going to serve food and also charge me service charge I do expect a minimum of good service. The sad part was that the food was actually okay and I wouln 't have had a problem if we were served with CLEAN plates and when I took it up with the manager he denied it knowing full well what had happened. As well as denying it he did not even attempt to offer some apologies or vouchers and was completely supporting his chefs decisions because they were under pressure"

"we decided to go with our enkelin for tee, we chose riverside tavern as we live very close, we were not sure what was expected as it was recently taken, but to say we were not disappointed would be an understatement. my man and I ordered both the fish and chips, the fish was beautiful and the homemade tea was the best I served in a long while the chips were small baskets. my enkelin wanted chicken bugges, and when they arrived, they were big pieces of fresh chicken with the same homemade dough and sneak. the staff was very friendly and said that they were really only about five weeks there. I would tell anyone looking for somewhere in the lanark area to try to eat the riverside tavern it is a little gem"

"AT LAST!!!! A place we can be proud to bring visitors to. We despair of finding places anywhere near Frodsham or the surrounding area that serves anything near decent and with some understanding of good food. But here it is!! We visited for Sunday lunch. The prawn cocktail was delicious plumptious prawns and a lovely sauce not your usual, strong, out of a bottle. Grandson had a duck with hoisin sauce to start and described it as divine. The Sunday roast was delicious. Lamb, pork and beef all cooked beautifully and the roast potatoes tasted fresh rather than reheated. Mixed veg of leeks with cabbage, peas and beans was tasty as was the mashed sweet potatoes. the choice of puddings was more than I 've ever seen within 20 miles of where I live in Kingsley. Nothing that looked as though it had come out of the freezer and into the microwave. Nothing described as a crumble, which is usually nothing like. And none of those dire plastic, sticky toffee puddings etc. Here we had a wonderful choice of beautifully and colourfully presented dishes frangipani tart with fresh pineapple, fruit and cocoanut ice cream was a prime example. The table for 4 was alive with 4 different dessert choices all of them beautifully colourful, you felt you were in the tropics. On arrival we were quickly greeted and seated. The host was repeatedly checking on guests without ever being intrusive. Every one of the waiters and waitresses were beautifully turned out, attentive, smiling, efficient and they LISTENED to what you required. Ample parking. Clean toilets. A lovely walk in a field with ancient barn and play area just through a wooden gate at the rear of the car park. Thank you. We will be back."

"Highly recommend this bistro. Lovely setting inside and friendly, efficient staff and service. Food was amazing and a good range of choice. We had two steaks that were cooked spot on and all the trimmings for a very reasonable price and I had the smoked haddock, leek, Mac n cheese a taste sensation! Also, our son had a brownie for desert that was presented at a high standard. An expected find and would definitely visit again. Thank you to Toby too, great service and attentive but not overbearing at all."

"I am a 72 year old lady who met a friend for lunch and was asked to remove my car as it was blocking the managers driveway. I had to park out in the street as the restaurant car park was closed due to works. I explained to the waitress that I had left the house driveway clear but if it was a real problem I would move it. She said its okay for the now. Towards the end of the lunch this woman (who turned out to be the Manage'rs wife came over and very aggressively shouted and pointed her finger at me and said if I did not remove my car within 10 minutes she would not be responsible if it was hit by her Range Rover. I tried to explain that I had already spoke to the waitress and said that if it was a real problem I would move it. However I did not get finished my explanation as she stormed out through the back of the pub! I did then go and move my car but I was left very shaken and asked to speak to the Manager and was told that he was not available but I had seen him two minutes before dealing with a small tractor with a fork lift on front who was delivering turf and had managed to get into the driveway before I had a chance o move my car!! I thought it was terrible that the Manager would not come and speak to me and I will never be back there again and neither will my friends having, been a number of times in the past. I took a picture of the space I had left and there is plenty of room to get into the driveway!!"

"The desserts were beautifully presented! I believe it would enhance customer service if the staff provided updates when an order isn’t ready right away. Unfortunately, the only downside for me this time was that the toppings on my crepe were excessive, which made it too rich for my taste. I do enjoy sweet treats, but this was a bit much. Next time, I think I’ll opt for ice cream instead!"

"I took my partner to this restaurant for their birthday, but unfortunately the steak we wanted was not available. We then ordered another steak, only to be told they were out of that as well. Despite being the only customers in the restaurant, the service was not very good. We had to leave and find another place nearby to celebrate my partner's special day. Overall, it was a disappointing end to what was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner."

"The restaurant was not busy when we arrived at 6.15. The service was excellent as was the food. We really enjoyed our chicken liver pate as a starter and my friend enjoyed the Welsh rarebit, served on chunk of baguette. The fried fish is excellent, the lightest, crispiest batter I've tasted, served with mushy peas, chunky chips and tatare sauce. I had no room for dessert but my friend enjoyed the Belgian waffle and ice cream! "I recently went to this restaurant for a family Sunday roast and was extremely disappointed. The £16.50 charge was not worth it at all. The menu listed a variety of vegetables, but all we received was a spoonful of carrots and some raw red cabbage that other tables were also complaining about. I had ordered cauliflower cheese as an extra, but it was given to another table as a complimentary dish. When I asked about it, they said they would cook it for me separately. I wanted it with the roast. The meal consisted of 2 tiny slices of beef and an undercooked Yorkshire pudding. Overall, the experience was shocking. Additionally, a glass of wine cost £8. I would recommend avoiding this place as other tables were also unhappy with their meals. One table even wanted to contact the owner to complain. At least they got my cauliflower cheese right."

"Recently visited the Kings Head and had a great meal. The service and quality of food provided was excellent. Friendly and accommodating to us, whilst giving us time to enjoy the food that was provided. Quick in responding to the request to book a table at the start of the experience, but no rush during the meal so was able to enjoy the cosy and comfortable surroundings of the Kings Head. Great staff and definitely value for money in terms of menu on offer."

"We had a wonderful meal with fantastic service at this restaurant. We loved the Rindsbrisket Tacos, which were great as an appetizer for two. The main course was delicious excavated chicken on a Belgian waffle with honey mist sauce. The cocktails were also very good. Thank you for a great experience. We recommend trying this restaurant!"
