"I recently went to this restaurant for a family Sunday roast and was extremely disappointed. The £16.50 charge was not worth it at all. The menu listed a variety of vegetables, but all we received was a spoonful of carrots and some raw red cabbage that other tables were also complaining about. I had ordered cauliflower cheese as an extra, but it was given to another table as a complimentary dish. When I asked about it, they said they would cook it for me separately. I wanted it with the roast. The meal consisted of 2 tiny slices of beef and an undercooked Yorkshire pudding. Overall, the experience was shocking. Additionally, a glass of wine cost £8. I would recommend avoiding this place as other tables were also unhappy with their meals. One table even wanted to contact the owner to complain. At least they got my cauliflower cheese right."

Wonderful service and the most amazing pie, mash and veg. They're being very covid-safe, whilst retaining high standards. Recommend!

We had a delivery for our daughters birthday and the food was absolutely lovely. The Yorkshire puddings were amazing, we will certainly order again. View menu

I love the cozy atmosphere of this local pub, which has recently been renovated and now features a fantastic pub quiz! The drinks are reasonably priced and delicious, and the pub dog, Milo, is adorable.

We treated ourselves to their stone baked pizzas. They were absolutely delicious! Crispy and delicious. We will be definitely ordering again. The app is easy to use. We can’t wait to try their takeaway roast dinner. 10/10

Had the topside roast beef Sunday lunch today and I can honestly say it was the best roast I have ever had in a pub or restaurant, and also very good value for money. Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection and the Yorkshire pud was amazing. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. Highly recommended. View menu

I have visited this restaurant before and have always had positive experiences. Each time I come back, it seems to get even better. I recently enjoyed the best pint of cider I've ever had, along with two delicious starters. The bar staff and owner were extremely welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to make sure we felt at home. The outdoor seating area, while small, is nicely decorated and now comes with heating to keep guests comfortable.

The Vine is a fantastic local pub and I 'm lucky to have it on my doorstep. Took advantage of the extended 'eat out to help out ' scheme and had a great evening with friends at a bargain price! They have lots of safety measures in place so felt 100% comfortable in there. The pub was very accommodating with our fussy menu choices and all the food was delicious (steak and vegetarian pie . My friend accidentally paid way too much (her fault! and they were quick to tell her and correct it. Thanks for a fantastic night and hope everyone will continue to support our local village pub.

"We came here on a last minute hunt to find a Sunday roast with family without much expectations. However when entering its a lovely set up and we were greeted by Lee and Alison who looked after us for the meal who just to begin were absolutely brilliant, they really care about the customers and make this place extra special. Now for the food you can get a 2 or 3 course meal so everybody made various selections but all had starters. Most went for the Aarancina which isn't your usual starter with a Sunday roast but for here it packs alot of flavour and is a great way to start the meal. They have a great selection of alcoholic beverages I went for a simple beer. For the main roasts we had a variety of meats I wanted the pork but sadly they had no crackling which was half the reason for ordering but if I am being honest after eating the meal it wasn't missed out the meat was tasty full of flavour but the sides were the key. The roast potatoes were of a top level usually when you eat out they are never as good as eating at home, the Yorkshire were huge and tasty, gravy brilliant with plenty to go around and lots of veg and cauliflower cheese on the side. Honestly this was excellent a really good roast probably the best I have ever ate in a resteraunt. Some of the others had the lamb shank which was huge and had great feedback but the beef was great and so was everything else. So yes check it out eat in and eat some great food in a nice setting with absolutely brilliant service you won't be disappointed."
