"Upon arrival, we noticed the bar was quite busy, likely with people waiting for tables. We were seated promptly and offered water while we looked over the menu. I found the prices a bit on the higher side, but I expected that and it didn’t bother me. Most steak dishes ranged from £20 to £30, with prices increasing for better cuts.
I ordered a T-bone steak cooked medium, and it was done perfectly and seasoned well—definitely one of the best steaks I've ever had. The chips were served in a cute mini basket, which was a nice touch, and they were delicious too!
For dessert, the menu was fantastic, and I chose the apple crumble with custard, which was a generous portion. I couldn’t finish it, but the custard was creamy and delightful, complementing the crumble perfectly. We also enjoyed a whiskey for myself and a shot for my wife.
The service throughout the meal was outstanding. Our orders arrived at the table within about 10 minutes, which was impressive. All the staff were attentive and organized; I didn’t see them engaging in unnecessary chatter, which contributed to a smooth experience.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely like to return!"
