"I had a fantastic meal at this restaurant. The Cantonese cuisine was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. The location was also convenient. I highly recommend trying their fried noodles and BBQ pork belly with rice."

"I love this place so much, I have fed here almost weekly for about a year and I will never get bored! I give only 4 stars, as in the last time I feel that there is a little of its flare lost the bean sprudel, lime and chili dishes that they usually get with their phó has dropped in size and does not seem so fresh (might have been like that day) and unfortunately have the fresh spring rolls (especially those with tiger prawn my favorite,) at the same price, but instead of two you have also brought water to your table, but now you just have to cry around the other guests to get some water (it is not the end of the world, but I have always appreciated the kindness.) in general the taste of the soup, sauces and rolls amazing! and for a delicious price (not only in comparison to london standards.) I recommend this ort to anyone who needs a picky P.s strongly recomend the rare bark pho actually gets her with rare pieces and u can even get twice the bark for £1 more! and not be shy with the Siracha sauce at the end of the suppe if they have never tried it, it really adds a kick"

"This was one of the best Sunday lunches I have had out in a long time. The meat was succulent and tasty infused with Rosemary and Garlic, without overpowering the meat. The potatoes and vegetables were flavoursome and cooked just right. The apple and pear crumble was very tasty and unlike many it was light Not heavy, but remained fillingThe staff were attentive without being intrusive Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves"

"Hotel is under new ownership. They are updating and it looks so much better than previous photos you may find on the internet. There’s still a ways to go. Beds are extremely “firm”. Individual rooms are decorated with lots of billowing dusty fabrics, and still need a lot of updating. You may be scalded while showering if another guest flushes the toilet or turns on the cold water anywhere in the building. The showers in general need to be addressed. Shower curtains were flimsy plastic that blow around while you shower and stick to you… which is not pleasant especially because they’re mildewed in places. The staff was extremely friendly. Sitting in the lounge and enjoying a drink from the bar was a highlight. The main area of the hotel is very nicely re-done, and staff treat you well. Would visit again as I met the owner and can tell he’s working to improve it."

"Booked a table for 4 on Saturday 24th August at 6:30pm. The welcome was fabulous and we were quickly shown to a lovely table. The restaurant area was well spaced making it feel open and uncrowded, even though they were very well attended. The staff were exceptional very efficient and always made sure that we were looked after and had everything that we needed. Despite our constant chatter and forgetting to read the menus, the staff were extremely patient and we did not feel rushed or pressured into making orders. Once we had ordered, the food cam in really good time. I had crab to start and my companions had scallops. All of it was perfect beautifully prepared and tasted wonderful. Our main courses arrived within good time also sea bass and chicken supreme. All of the food was absolutely wonderful and the service was brilliant. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Fabulous food, service and I thought it was really good value. Many thanks to all."

"My partner and I hired The Prince of Wales for my 40th birthday. We hired the dinning area downstairs which is perfect to buy drinks at the bar, toilets nearby and exit door for the smokers. We had set menu buffet and added some extras which I would recommend. My guests enjoyed the food with favourite being mini burgers. The staff were lovely and always around for when we needed. The pub has a lovely ambience perfect for different events at a reasonable price. My guests and I had a lovely time, would definitely recommend."

"It’s a test: submitting one’s favourite restaurant to the ruthless scrutiny of our two favourite international ‘ladies who lunch’, particularly when it’s a dinner! We needn’t have worried. The kitchen was in top form, the scallops and cod topped the charts for charm and yumminess and the service was as gently attentive as usual. Come on Michelin: time to unleash that much-deserved first star!"

"Wow, this place is a hidden gem in the heart of Camden and definitely worth a visit. When you first arrive, you may think Anmee could use a bit more decoration with its simple bench seating and whitewashed walls, but don't let that deter you. The menu offers a variety of pho, bún, noodle salad dishes, California rolls, and sides at very affordable prices for being in central London. During my visit, I ordered the roasted duck bún and some prawn California rolls, which were prepared quickly by the chef and served beautifully by the attentive staff. The California rolls were a delight with their vibrant colors and fresh ingredients. The duck dish was equally delicious, with subtle hints of sweet, sour, spicy, and crispy flavors that made for a satisfying meal. They also provided sriracha and hoisin sauce at each table, along with a generous amount of crunchy chiffonade. If you find yourself in Camden, be sure to stop by Anmee near the railway station for a memorable dining experience. You won't be disappointed."

"The waitress didn't know the menu or the wine list, so we had to show her what we wanted to order. Then our order got lost and the manager came to re-take it. He was polite and apologetic, so it wasn't an issue. There was a party at the hotel and the door to the ballroom kept banging when people were going in and out to the bar to get their drinks. Not a very relaxing atmosphere... Another problem was the waiting time. We waited an hour for two main courses. There were 3 other tables when we arrived, so that shouldn't happened The manager came to apologise, saying that they have a big party and just two chefs, but if that was the case maybe they shouldn't take more bookings. As we were going to the cinema we had to ask for the bill before we could finish our meal. The wine was taken off the bill which was a nice gesture, but I would prefer to pay for my food and drinks and have better experience. Food overall was tasty and sauce for truffled fries was amazing, but because I think in the end they were rushing to get our meal out of the kitchen my fishcake rostis were undercooked and soggy."

"We felt the food here was a bit like the curate 's egg, good in parts (and great in some , less so in others. On the plus side were the starters (especially the gin cured salmon and desserts I love the white chocolate parfait with raspberries so much I had it both nights. Likewise my husband enjoyed the cheese selection and had it twice. But the mains let it down. The duck was a little overcooked and therefore dry. The cod was tasty but the skin (often my favourite bit! burnt and bitter tasting, and the portion was on the mean side. And the lamb rump, according to my husband, was tough in parts, although he liked the feta croquette that accompanied it. A further niggle in a place that has pretensions to fine dining, the paper tablecloths really jarred! On the question below about whether I 'd recommend it, I 'd really welcome a 'not sure ' option, but I 've gone for yes on balance as they do some things well and maybe we were unlucky with our mains choices?"

"hubby and I were looking for somewhere where we could eat near the barbican. neither of us loved what they did in the restaurants there such a fast Google search led us a walk down the road to new east house. when we got. it was quite early to say half 5 but we were received and we were sitting. the waitress came by with the menu and we decided to noodle for crushed eggs, eggs and lemon chickens. we ordered a bottle of sauv blanc to wash it. the weeping was brought over and I got a taste to make sure we were satisfied with him what we were and not long after that food came. The portions were generous and delicious. we both shared the courts and they were beautiful, just what we wanted! we couldn't finish the whole meal, but I'm sure if we hadn't gone to the theater, we would have asked ourselves to take it with us in a pick-up! the whole meal and the wein came for two of us about 50 pounds, a fair price in the center of london. we would definitely visit each other again if we were in the future in the opposite!"
