"Hotel is under new ownership. They are updating and it looks so much better than previous photos you may find on the internet. There’s still a ways to go. Beds are extremely “firm”. Individual rooms are decorated with lots of billowing dusty fabrics, and still need a lot of updating. You may be scalded while showering if another guest flushes the toilet or turns on the cold water anywhere in the building. The showers in general need to be addressed. Shower curtains were flimsy plastic that blow around while you shower and stick to you… which is not pleasant especially because they’re mildewed in places. The staff was extremely friendly. Sitting in the lounge and enjoying a drink from the bar was a highlight. The main area of the hotel is very nicely re-done, and staff treat you well. Would visit again as I met the owner and can tell he’s working to improve it."

Found the hotel to be excellent and all the staff very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and the menu was varied enough to suit most people. Woul happily stay here again next time we are in the area.

Fantastic place! Exceptional service by a very nice team (we need to mention Allison she was really awesome). You feel good from the first minute you get into the place. I do not know when but for sure we'll be back.

Smashing classic Scottish hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We popped in just for a coffee (post a camper van week in Highlands). Beautiful exterior and interiors, gardens very well maintained. Maybe get to stay here at some point.

Dined at the restaurant and really impressed. The setting is impressive, the food was excellent and the service couldn't have been more relaxed or friendly. Well worth a visit. (They also had geodesic domes in the garden for outdoor dining which I'm keen to try if we get up that way again

During a recent trip to Scotland, we dined at the Kincraig Castle Hotel to celebrate a birthday. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, the menu was fantastic, and the food was delicious. The cocktails were outstanding! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a wonderful evening out.

I stayed at the hotel during the week and found it to be very quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable for this kind of hotel, especially considering it was during the Easter break. I would definitely stay here again, but I would avoid coming during peak season when prices are much higher.

The food at this restaurant is wonderful, especially for Sunday lunch. The service is always top-notch as well. There is a new owner, and I hope they don't make too many changes. The only thing they could improve is the coffee. They should invest in a proper coffee machine instead of the filter coffee that sits on a hot plate. If they made this change and charged for it, I would definitely give them a 5-star rating.

Hotel set in beautiful grounds, well administrated and kept to a high standard. As a disabled traveller, our room was perfectly suited (much appreciated for a late booking) and extremely comfortable. Immaculately clean Hotel has plenty of character and dinner was served in charming surroundings, food excellent. Breakfast in a light, clean and spacious room again, excellent food Staff were smart, friendly and gave excellent service. Covid restrictions in place at the time were well observed and without fuss. As experienced travellers, we would definitely revisit thoroughly recommend.
