"First of all, there was only one poor girl front of house, Lianne, serving drinks, making coffee, taking food orders and serving table, and she did it brilliantly. We had booked a table, and ordered drinks, but still had a fair wait for food. I ordered the gammon and eggs, and a mountain of peas, and apart from a small ramekin of chips it was good. My wife ordered the Chicken Penang curry, which consisted of five strips of chicken, a solid fusion of rice, and lots of beans. As a side she ordered a ramekin of chips at £2.95. What a rip off!!! Our daughter ordered the Steak, chips and bearnaise sauce £20.20p. to be cooked medium rare which, was cold and over cooked. It was subsequently sent back. By the time the replacement steak had arrived my wife and I had nearly finished our meals and our daughter had lost her appetite!! In conclusion I would suggest that this establishment needs a good shake up, the food is definitely overpriced for a pub meal, and I would recommend anyone considering a meal in this pub to give it a wide berth."
