"we choose grange farm as a preferred opportunity place for our Friday dinner instead of eating locally in the city center. (calls to pay £16 to come with the taxi to them) normally we would not have any trouble over eating. my partner ordered the lamb shank and for the price of £20 we felt that the price-performance ratio did not correspond to the usual standards of grange farm. he had to attack for sweetness, as it was barely served with the dish. I had gone with a traditional gammon and iron, and I also felt underwhelmed by him (even if it was at least £8 less) as we often dine in greene king pubs and had better. unnecessary to say our waitress jess was brilliant, bar staff were as attentive as they are in the rule and how the alcohol flows, the disappointing food does not ruin ours. perhaps the cook could re-view the offer at both dressed!"

We really enjoyed our night out. The food was lovely, hot and nicely displayed, attention to us was very pleasing, overall a great place to eat, meet friends and socialise.

Food was okay but nothing special. The location of our table wasn't particularly nice. It felt like it was in the entrance hall quite draughty and away from the rest of the dining areas. The serving staff were very friendly and efficient.

very nice eating, but difficult when they are a fussy eater. instead of expensive for a casual meal, and some of the food was not very hot. slow delivery to the table especially for a Saturday night. the waitress was helpful and the job was very nice.

Having dined at Grange Farm frequently over the past few years , we have found the food varies from excellent to fairly average. This we feel comes with menu change, the last two visits the food being one extreme to the other, however, we will still frequent the establishment because we like the locality and the ambiance and also the staff are always friendly and obliging View menu

The worst dining experience we have had, I booked through open table, when we got to restaurant they did not have our booking, we were sat at table that vibrated badly when ever someone walked by which was constant, the corner where we sat was filthy food on the plug socket food up the walls filthy, my mothers day was ruined I'm not happy at all terrible experience from start to finish.

I take an older friend of lady to lunch in the grange once a month. she goes with a walker and finds access to the restaurant very well. Usually we have a table for two in the ground floor near the disabled toilet, but due to recent renovations this was not possible. her personal apologised and showed us a nice table further down in the room. we enjoyed our meal very much (hunters chicken, followed by eton mess and coffee). her personal is excellent and we look forward to our next visit.

"We visited Oggi meaning today) on a cold November evening. The restaurant was brimming with people already at 6.45, so much so we skipped down to a local for 29 minutes until our table became available. The owner f the restaurant brought us delicious olives and bruschetta while we studied the menu. We were a table of 3 couples, four of whom had been close uni mates of 40 years. There was lots to catch up on, tears and laughter and clinking of glasses. The service was professional as yoi would expect from a good Italian restaurant. I am hard to please. I love good food, cooked well and this food was certainly the most delicious Italian I have eaten. Fat, sweet scallops in their shells, grilled with butter, cream and fine cheese. Rich and delicious. Fat, juicy king prawns cooked to perfection in a spicy tomato and garlic sauce. Thank goodness for the bread to mop up the delicious flavours. We ate pasta Oggi linguini with seafood, fresh cannelloni with ricotta and spinach, the best I have eaten, with such fresh flavours. We had fungi risotto with truffle oil and a portion big enough to feed two! We chose an organic Nero D’Avola from a single estate in Sicily. It was superb. Our host sang to us, recited beautiful poetry and brought a tear to our eyes with his generosity of sprit and honesty. I think each of us loved our experience and came away with a warm spot in our hearts for Reno and his superb Oggi, We will be back, for sure."
