"This restaurant is amazing. We ordered the Burrito bullets and they were huge! Great value for the money, with all the fixings included - acid, guac, and cheese - not like most Mexican restaurants that charge extra for these toppings. The server was nice and quickly realized we were new customers, so she was super friendly and took her time showing us all the different options we could add to our meal. It was an amazing experience!"

"No customer service skills whatsoever. Had 2 Taco lunches which were ok. After we finished my friend ordered a second coffee. The waitress (who was more interested in looking at her phone for most of the time we were there) spilled a cup of coffee over my friend legs as she was putting it down in to the table. She apologised, brought a large toll of blue paper to the table and then left us to clear up the mess!! She made and delivered a new cup of coffee but there was no concern for my friend whose trousers and socks were soaking wet as the coffee had run down into her boots. After a while when they were not forthcoming, I suggested that she should receive the coffee as a complimentary one. They looked at me as if I had two heads. “ you want your money back?” I said it was the least they could do and they get her her £2.50 back. To top it all we overheard the waitress talking about us to a member of the kitchen staff whilst sitting behind us. The staff need some customer service training. Not very Optimistic that we’ll be going back."

"Have eaten here a few times before and had great meals and service. Went for Sunday Dinner today. Ordered starters soup came out cold. They took it back and it took an age for a new one. Waited nearly an hour for the mains after having to ask where they were. Mains had frozen roast potatoes which were hard and cold in the middle. Meat was full of gristle. Carrots were rock hard, yorkshire pudding burnt on the bottom and to top it all off found a hair wrapped around one of the new potatoes. There was only one other set of people in when we arrived so not sure what it would be like if it was busy. Staff were swearing and could be clearly heard saying that they had a function upstairs and had only 4 minutes to get their buffett ready so assuming why the service was so poor in the restaurant area. They did give us a refund but didn't seem to care much. Such a shame as had been great the other times we had visited but don't think we will be going back after this experience."

"great place, beautiful vegan cuisine, especially the Buddha bowls. eating is super colorful, but above all, it is amazingly delicious. it is very well thought out and each component is delicious, but everything is well balanced together. the personal is attentive and friendly, the ambiente very pleasant and the toilets are clean and well equipped. not very accessible as they must be able to go down to enter, but it is dog friendly and the coffee is delicious!"

"Considering the current global challenges facing restaurants, I must admit that my expectations were not met at this establishment. Nevertheless, I appreciate their decision to remain open and provide food during these difficult times. I would like to give them 5 stars for that alone, but my review is primarily based on the food itself. Located in the Leith area and offering a non-authentic Mexican cuisine, I found my steak burrito and tacos to be below average in taste. However, the accessibility, friendliness of the staff, and portion sizes were commendable. The prices were reasonable and you definitely get value for your money. While I may not return, I left feeling satisfied. My recommendation would be for them to focus on incorporating more garlic, onion, and citrus flavors through marinades or infused rice in their dishes."

"This marvellous community run free house is the model other aspiring would be village buy outs ought to take note of. In addition to the swift turnaround of the hand pulled beers we ale drinkers have the opportunity to sample a wide range from all over . To my surprise and delight this pub usually has a dark mild stout etc every few weeks unlike most of the other pubs I visit. There is seating out front and in the rear beer garden that leads onto open fields which was the site of their recent beer festival attended by a local Asian street food vendor and various musicians playing throughout the long weekend. The interior is just one large room so not the venue for a private or discreet meeting! Due to the proximity of Harlton to the city of Cambridge the Horse Hounds clientele has a happy mix of academics, professionals and the farming community. Sundays is Quiz Night which you can now avoid or join in depending! Meals are served but I cannot comment as I have yet to eat at this pub. Friendly , attentive and helpful staff This pub is definitely worts visit"

"Food and drinks are getting worse each time and now even the service was bad. Last time we went there the food was just bad, the cocktails were so bad that they even the manager said she wouldn’t drink it. We came back today just for drinks and snacks to give it another chance, we sat outside for a good while and no one came to serve, went to the bar and asked if they would serve outside, the answer was “No, you have to use the QRCode”, since the Internet is so bad I asked, can I order here then? “No, we are too busy serving the back so you have to order with QRCode”. "I’m not vegan, but I am dairy intolerant so me and my friend decided to go here as I know it wouldn’t affect me! The milkshakes were so yummy! I have the Mac and cheese pizza as I love pizza and Mac n cheese! It was amazing I’m not sure how other pizza companies have not come up with it?! Me and my friend then shared pancakes which were so delish! The staff are super friendly and helpful the vibe is so cute! Definitely worth the visit even if you’re not vegan!"

"Upon first impression, a half breakfast may appear lacking, but do not be deceived! My recent dining experience at So Spot was exceptional - eggs, tomatoes, homemade beans, sausage, and sourdough toast combined to create a hearty and tasty meal. I was tempted to start eating before remembering to take a photo! My son chose the bacon dish and was delighted with the flavorful and perfectly cooked bacon. In summary, a wonderful dining experience with delectable food."

"great food. amazing service. authentic dishes served. the ambiente was great. we tried the chicken xinxim and the enchiladas. both were filled, served with the authentic plantain chips, black beans. another time, we tried the chicken burger who came with large portions of curly frits and the freshly prepared nachos. they have a lot of options for drinks and are unique in taste during refreshment. the hotel is located on the street, one must visit when they are in the city."

"We’ve been coming here for maybe 20 years because it’s at the start (or end depending on which way you’re heading) of the Snowdon Watkin path. Which in my opinion is the best route in terms of scenery. The first time we came here a long time ago when veganism wasn’t as big a deal, the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They made my partner a lovely hummus and onion sandwich with crisps on the side even though it wasn’t on the menu. From that time onwards, the food has just been getting better and better. Today (17.09.23) we shared an amazing cheese toasty with tasty French onion soup on the side. I also ordered a spring onion roll with salad and coleslaw. Both meals were of a standard that you would struggle to find anywhere in the area. I’m certain you won’t find any cafe, pub or restaurant in the nearby Beddgelert that can compete as I’ve already walked, cycled and driven through there numerous times this year and found nothing worth writing about. Keep it up!"

"We booked a table for my daughter’s birthday in the patio area, when we arrived made to feel that we were being a nuisance by wanting to sit out on the patio, it appeared to have been closed off in preparation for the rugby. When we booked no one tried to make contact with us to advise us of this change. Food order taken , but the order was wrong. My daughter order the prosciutto truffle pizza with burrata, but she got a sticky cheese pizza with prosciutto (very good job she doesn’t have a nut allergy or we would be spending her birthday in A E as it had walnuts on) . The service was appalling , No one came to check the food was ok. Felt that we were ignored. We have used this pub on numerous occasions over the last 6 months including my mums wake following her death. And this the second time in a row that we have not been happy with the service or food. Very unhappy as it spoilt my daughter’s birthday (first one without her grandmother) so made it more difficult/emotional than it needed to be. When we got the bill , we mentioned the pizza was wrong, the waiter blamed the change of menu and the chef for the mistake and offered a free dessert not accepted."

"I was absolutely blown away by the customer service and friendliness of the staff. The food was out very quickly which kept the kids happy! They were very accommodating to my children’s gluten free dietary requirements and advised me and the husband on which dishes would be suitable! Overall lovely meal and drinks. My husband loved the beer! (coronas his favourite) and I loved my espresso martini! Great day out with the kids! "Have walked past here so many times, but haven’t had chance to try anything. After a longer trip to town than anticipated we walked past El Contador at Lunch and feeling very hungry we stopped on our way home. I had chicken molé tacos and my Husband had the beef brisket bowl, our little boy who was with us, can be a picky eater so he said he didn’t want anything, but the lady in there kindly popped some chicken and rice in a little bowl for him to try at no extra charge, which was so lovely and he actually really enjoyed it! Food was amazing and you could tell how fresh everything was, definitely give this a try if you’ve ever wandered past, but not ordered! Will definitely be back again"

"to begin we had a sharer plate made from home afteros with guacamole, salsa, black bohnen etc. really delicious. then for all I had a special name called “Herz vegan Burrito”, which was fried, sweethorn etc (no rice) in savoy kohlblatt and fried. it came with a side salad that contains edible cactus a first for me! I also had a Mexican coffee that came with vanilla, seasoned and a choice of chaga or lion’s mane mushrooms. my other half had a similar sounding hot chocolate with kokosmilch, which was really delicious. there were other options, as well as fresh juices and right smoothies, with superfoods such as cacao and maca. there were alternative milk and the chap really knew about vegan requirements. really friendly. great place."

"I 've been ordering at Boojum religiously since 2010 (including an extended period of eating them twice a week for my lunch), and would have always sung its praises to anyone who would listen. It was always a real pleasure of an occasion, eating a Boojum bowl, day or night. I 've eaten them in their hundreds over the past decade.But there cannot be any doubt, in my mind, that as prices have shot up, quality and consistency has dropped, and dropped sharply. Where once you didn 't mind at all paying the prices because the portions were tasty and generous, it seems over the past 18 months or so a penny-pinching malaise has taken permanent root.Whether it 's the toss-up of getting a decent portion or a half-filled bowl for your £9, or the order being wrong when Deliveroo bring it, or having to beg for more than a teaspoon of guacamole, or clearly seeing that the pulled pork portion is laughable when you pull back the lid, you really get the clear impression it is no longer about the food and experience anymore. It 's about firing food out as fast as you can, and quality control being an afterthought. I don 't just apply this to the Chichester Street branch, the Botanic branch has gone the same way.I don 't have the heart to give Boojum a poor score overall, given the history of wonderful meals i 've had. And you may go there and get the biggest, best bowl of your life. But i can no longer openly recommend it, not with the inconsistencies and price point."
