"Pizza good as usual but the side portions are laughable. Slaw £4.95 barely two tablespoons of grated carrot with pepper on top and tasted grim. £4.95 for miniscule side salad drenched in dressing (with two grapes of all things. Even dough balls massively marked up over £4 for 8 but teeny tiny. Didn't complain as my teen son was too embarrassed. Clearly how they're making their money. Shame really. Otherwise service good....pizza express is pizza express!"

"I went here with my family and Guy was absolutely amazing. His customer service was outstanding. He had friendly approach and natural warmth really added to my experience. This was very clear and apparent especially when compared to the older gentlemen who I found was very rude and was clearly racist. Once other family members came and sat with me who are of a different race, he treated them completely different, which I was not too happy about. However, Guy's excellent hospitality skills superseded the need to complain about the older gentleman's terrible customer service towards myself and my family when being seated by Guy. I thought he undermind Guy alot but Guy rose above it and continued to perform at a high level. Also the food was absolutely tasty, we all enjoyed every bite of it. Compliments to the chef! Give Guy a pay rise because I am sure he is not getting paid nowhere near as much as he should! Apart from the negative statement made. I thoroughly enjoyed the good and the service from Guy. "First time in a Pizza Express. Nice restaurant. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. No ****** meat in their lasagne though! Honestly, the pizzas for whatever reason did not look that appealing to me. Marguerita without basil how is that inviting? Some interesting combinations but to be honest my local pub in Birmingham puts together a more enticing pizza menu. Asked for a recommendation off the waiter. Nice chap. Settled on lasagne because he said it was meaty. Blimey! Meaty it was not! Distinctly meat light! Vegans would have been delighted. To be fair looked ok. Smelled ok. Probably even tasted ok. But hey. Come on Pizza Express put some ****** meat in your lasagne. Shocking rip off restaurant really. The food isn’t even made on site ffs! They get the lasagne made in a kitchen in Bermondsey or somewhere and shipped in and then reheated. Not for me I’m afraid. Never again."

"WHAT I LOVED Service Pretty good! I came in and got my pizza within 20 min. I told them I was in a hurry and they still made the effort to seat me straight away. The waitress was also very good at explaining the menu, and I appreciated her patience with my questions. Location Very convenient to Stanmore Station, located right on the Broadqay about a 3 minute walk away. Food Pizza is pretty decent. Great portion sizes, quality food, good selection. I ordered the Padana pizza with goats cheese, mozzarella, spinach, red caramelised onions, garlic oil. It was fantastic but on the thinner side. Also, if you 're American, be sure to ask for chilis vs crushed red pepper or they may not know what you 're talking about. Drinks wise, they also do Prosecco for a very good price, £4 6 can 't remember exactly but it was one of the best prices I 'd seen in London. Decor/Ambience This was probably the highlight for me. First of all, the restaurant is very spacious and laid out perfectly. The vibe is a real pizzeria and the hard word floors add to the wood fired feel. The kitchen has an open plan so you can easily see your pizza being cooked up. There 's also a nice selection of booths for a more cozy and comfortable dinner with friends or family. OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH Prices They 're alright. Would be nice if they offered things like NHS discounts or military etc as Nandos does, or else drop their overall meal price point by £1 2 or so. Would probably be willing to eat there more often. Enjoy guys xx"

"Located only minutes away from my university, I always see a bunch of people just sitting outside waiting for their drinks after a long day of work! This weekend, a few of us decided to try out this experience after a full day of uni! I know understand why this place is so buzzing! The drinks here are very normal but the food that comes alongside it, make the experience worthwhile! A posh British pub is what All Bar One is! The Garlic, chilli and lemon prawns were so tender, spicy and fully of flavour, the mushrooms with lavish bread was also another hit! Just a few tid bits to accompany us with our drinks! Would really recommend All Bar One for a place to chill after a long day!"

"we approached the writing and asked for a table of 6 to say: "Don't worry about anything until 8 o'clock". that was around 6.05 clock, the restaurant was half empty ... so we went online for 6.15 clock with open re-entered ... told them we had a reservation, observed “some heated words”. between the staff and we were taken to a perfectly empty table for 6. just 50 minutes waiting for our food. that said our server was friendly and apologetic. eating was ok, 2 pizzas, 3 calzones and a sirloin steak, that was definitiw rump, as it was to think and took hard to sirloin! to the happiness we have a taste card so that the meal with a softdrink cost only £10 per head, and we were limited due to a cinema booking for time. lection learned book before entering, and use it taste card, not sure that I would have paid the bill in full amount, we had not discounted!"

"Kids birthday party for our 5 year old the staff were fantastic and all the kids had a great time. Special thanks to Eleanor, Hannah and Merhan the pizza chef who were excellent in serving us and also entertaining the kids. The kids enjoyed tossing dough and making their own pizza which they then ate along with dough balls to start and ice cream dessert. "Impossible to visit London without a stop at Pizza Express. Of course, these are chain restaurants but the quality and choice are there and after all these years (more than 30 years), we have never been disappointed, even if they are not the pizzas of the 90s. "Pizza Express is consistently fantastic. We’ve been visiting for over 25 years (in different locations) and for the last 14 years at the Shrewsbury branch. As always.. we had a great time , loved the food and received outstanding service (as we always do) but unfortunately witnessed an unreasonable lady on an adjacent table treat the staff in a rude and condescending manner. The staff dealt with the situation really professionally in a way that’s says a lot about the management and the company ethos. It just made us want to come back. Erin and her team were just fab. "We had a large booking the meals were preordered.The staff were friendly and dispute the size of the group didn’t have to wait long. Location good.Starts of hot bread was delicious. Sadly the reviews from people were mixed, I had poached egg and asparagus that was good but think they skipped the hollandaise. Some colleague said they had under cooked eggs. The squid was left by a few people on our table. I had mushroom risotto and was bland. Steaks had mixed reviews. Best part for me was the bread and cheese board.I was going to say quality could have been due to reservation size but only half the restaurant was booked so guess it’s not that."

"A really nice building with a well done interior, especially for pizza express. The service was quick even though there were eight of us, the waiter was the best and I've ever had with some fantastic humour. The food was relatively good quality, I had the meats sharing plate for starter and gelato for dessert. Its a pizza express, you get what you expect. I am dropping one star because of the melted ice cream that was served to me for dessert and them putting the mains down before collecting starter plates. All in all, really enjoyable, makes it a good pizza express for the building and the waiter we had."

"So I have seen several of these all around London and assumed that a pizza a a chain wouldn't be that great. Finally I tried one when I couldn't find anything else that looked good in the area. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I have now tried two locations and have to say that both the service and the food has been good at each one. I would have no problem coming back to this or any other location."
