"My friend usually calls ahead to place an order for pickup at this restaurant, but this time he was told to use the app or website instead. He found this unusual, but complied. We were then notified that our order was ready, so we went to pick it up, which wasn't far from our location. However, we still had to wait for 10 minutes. While waiting, I observed the waitress speaking to the staff in a disrespectful manner, and noticed that the staff seemed unhappy. When we finally got our food and opened the pizza box, my pizza was cold, not even lukewarm – it was completely cold. In contrast, my friend's lasagna was piping hot. It was clear that they had mixed up the timings and my pizza had been left sitting there to get cold. I would have been better off making a simple DIY pizza at home – warming up a tortilla, adding some sauce and herbs. I paid £16.40 for a cold and flavorless pizza that wasn't even topped correctly – I received vegan chicken instead of vegan mince."

"I went here for a wedding reception and had a really lovely time. The food was tasty and it kept on coming, never been a restaurant where they brought out hot bread. The atmosphere was 10/10 and the decor in the restaurant is exquisite the wedding decor just took it up a notch. I would go back here again."

"As a family we love Pizza Express and regularly visit our local Cribbs Causway restaurant. We booked a table for the family to celebrate my Son's 6th birthday and as always the food was delicious but more importantly it was couple with exceptional service from Gabriel. He was attentive, authentic and couldn't do enough to make our evening an enjoyable one. Even when my son found out there was no chocolate sauce for his dough ball pudding, Gabriel came to the rescue! As always we'll be back and I hope Gabriel is working every time we are! :"

"On arrival we informed the hostess that we had an offer that was a meal and a drink for £5.99 , she told us it was only for a meal but we told her the offer included a drink and showed her the offer , she again said it was only for the meal but would ask her manager , she came back and told us that the manager had said the same that it was only for a meal , I showed the manager the voucher and she said she would go and check the terms and conditions , she came back and told us we were actually right , we had an email with the headlines “ Meal and a drink for £5.99” It made us feel very uncomfortable and we could not wait to leave !"

"I came here for the first time in this summer and was so excited to find that they had vegan cheese! I had pizza after pizza and even garlic bread with vegan cheese until I came back in september and was told that it was no longer worn and that it was only part of their summer menu. they have another vegan pizza (which is not the biggest) and I don't think I'm going back. wish that they make the vegan cheese lasting."

"hullaballoo is a sweet little Indian restaurant on the corner at one of the market entrances. the menu is almost completely vegan – all curries are vegan cooked and the only non-veganese that is added is windshield wiper (and they have a few drinks and a yogurt and a sauce that are not vegan). this is great because it means that they can order quite everything from the menu. the location is also beautiful, we sat in the window watching how people walk past what had fun. eating itself is good, but not amazing. for beginners we had samosas, which were beautiful and large and quite delicious. for the net we had to corma and veg tikka masala with pilau rice, pappadums and butter naan. the curries were delicious and satisfying, but not burst with taste. the butternan was delicious, I really rated it and would get more of it when I came back."

"This was our first visit to a Pizza Express which made a nice change to our usual choice of pizza restaurant. With somewhere new, the menu choice was refreshing (it 's so easy to find a favourite dish and stick to it) We went with the intention of sticking to the two mains for £10 deal but upgraded a little to a larger pizza. I opted for the Diavolo, my partner, the New Porchetta, my Mom had the Pollo ad Astra and my Mom in law the Classic Lasagna. The pizzas were all on the thin Romano base which meant the knife and fork approach but also meant they were light enough to polish off without the need for a doggy take out box at the end of the evening. The Diavolo was nice and spicy, the Porchetta nice and tasty as was the Pollo ad Astra. Comments about the Lasagna came as the best lasagna I 've ever tasted so a big thumbs up for the food. I finished with a cappuccino which again was all good. The service was fantastic and Roberto (taking the name from the receipt) was so helpful and full of smiles throughout the evening. The place was lively, clean, fresh, modern and airy and seems very popular. It takes walk ins as well as bookings and given its close proximity to Cineworld makes for a handy post/ pre movie meal venue. I think we 'll be returning to make our way through the menu to find our Pizza Express favourite. Would recommend a visit."

"4 of us at Pizza Express in St Albans 6:30 Saturday. Waited 45 minutes for drinks and an hour for starters to arrive. When mains arrived one pizza was cold! One main course didn’t arrive at all and when we asked where it was Chicken Caesar salad they said they had no lettuce! Kitchen was chaotic far too much focus on servicing deliveroo etc (presumably because they are on financial penalties if they don’t get the orders out fast) all at the expense of the dine ins. No front of house management. 2 waiters were working like mad to try to keep the restaurant ticking over (not helped by the kitchen) while 2 others appeared to think you get paid for turning up but with no need to actually do anything. I watched one of the waiting staff literally shuffling receipts around and when it looked like one of the other staff had noticed she was doing absolutely nothing she would pretend to be looking for something in a fridge before going back to shuffling receipts. And all this time people were waiting ages to place orders and get their drinks! Never again! Prezzo next time."

"Sergio’s is a fantastic experience all the way around, it starts first with the people. Friendly and personable. Dottie, Kasha, Hamza were attentive and engaging. We cannot say enough good things about them. We began our evening with a glass of Prosecco, accompanied with a mixed variety of olives w/ bright sliced citrus enhancing the flavors, which was perfect to snack. Along with the seafood salad: perfectly tender octopus, squid, mussels and clams. For our main course we enjoyed the evening special: king prawns w/spicy linguine. The prawns were split, and were nearly as large as your hand. The Veal Limone, a mainstay on the menu was tender and accompanied with shaved Parmesan and crisp arugula greens. We closed out the evening with an espresso and limoncello while sharing a delightful chat with Dottie. Her personality radiated, she was so welcoming and engaging which truly made you feel like family. Highly recommend you make Sergios part of your London journey, if you’re looking for authentic Italian with a neighborhood vibe, you’ve truly found the right place!"

"I used to love Pizza Express but was disappointed during my recent visit. It had been a while since I last went. The staff were excellent and very attentive. However, the food was sadly bland and uninspiring, and I felt it was overpriced. We were seated next to a noisy table of children, while their parents were sitting at the other end of the restaurant. It felt like we were at a kids' party. Although I'm not sure if it was the restaurant's fault, they did accept the booking. Overall, I won't be in a hurry to return."

"We came here for my sister’s 18th, which was the first time in years, and it definitely didn’t disappoint; food is lovely, prices are fair and the staff are friendly. There is a wide range of food and drink on the menu and the food arrived quickly after ordering. My sister got a complimentary ice cream with a candle for her birthday as the staff sung to her which was a lovely gesture (although she was a little embarrassed! . "my group of 10 was very happy without booking for my friend birthday. has moved some tables for us occasionally thanks to the waiting staff. special thanks to kai, who really provided upbeat and friendly service, he really did our day! he wished my friend a happy birthday, got her a soft drink from the bar and even the cupcakes that some of us made for her! eating was nice and came fast, a friend was even able to get a gluten-free veggie option. "I eat out very regularly, and I have to say that todays experience in Pizza Express Victoria Sq was absolutely terrible! It was my first time trying Pizza Express (like I told, I assume was a manager on duty today) and it will most definitely be my last! My sons my niece were also adamant that they wouldn’t be back either. How disappointing. Firstly we sat for a lifetime watching staff walk past us while we waited for our order to be taken. Then the drinks we asked for were not brought. Then one pizza arrived on its own, they forgot our starters, and said kid had the pizza eaten by the time everyone else’s arrived in dribs and drabs. We were one pizza short and we had to go ask for that and our starters, which took donkeys to be sorted too) they are called starters for a reason! Staff were standing about talking to each-other and not really keeping an eye on tables or customers. Then there seems to be no notion of what anyon needs to be doing and what plates are delivered to tables one at a time! So strange. And long waits between each. That’s not how anyone wants to eat when out with family.. Then they forgot to bring the deserts, and by that stage I had had enough. I asked for them to be taken off my bill. Girl came to the table and not even an apology after I told communicated to a staff member quite nicely that I thought our conversation experience had been really awful. Plenty of empty tables too, so not to say that they were at capacity, plus they had plenty of staff on. The pizza I got was rotten too, and all watery on the top. Only ate it because I was absolutely starving after the wait. I just can’t believe how awful the service was. Won’t ever be back."
