"Although the aesthetics look good I can't say the same for the service and food. Told my order at the bar hadn't gone through when it had then they agreed it had otherwise I would have paid them twice The meal we booked had the finest starters. My main was beef stroganoff which had 99 per cent mushrooms in it. I returned the dish then waited what felt like an age and then got served what looked and tasted like bisto gravy with a few strips of what tasted just like liver. I gave up left it and ordered a dessert as I was hungry. Then as it was getting late bar staff started spraying disinfectant next to me in the bartop whilst other staff milled around with mop buckets. Ordered a cookie and vanilla ice cream sandwich. Waitress came out with double chocolate cookie and chocolate ice cream which I didnt order an d don't like them waltzed off . In fact they all did. We were up there totally on our own where you are supposed to pay at your table . After waiting a bit we went downstairs and tried to pay at the other bar where I complained. They gave me 50 per cent off my stroganoff and apologised. Then mix up with my payment again . Eventually got out of there. It ruined our evening which was meant to be a celebration and feel let down by The Hunloke."

"has a short vegan menu or they can have their own bowl salate. at the moment it seems to serve 9 meal times for the delivery for each 1 meal in (for understandable reasons), which means when they sit in it a little frenetic, but it is more of a place than a restaurant. good value, I thought. updated by previous review on 2020-09-11"

"Six family members went for Sunday lunch and all ordered the roast pork with an addition of three cauliflower cheese. Really tasty food, well presented and most friendly service. The pork was served with crackling, apple sauce and a crispy Yorkshire, the only thing that could improve it would be some stuffing. An excellent meal, the first we gad been to Pomeroys but it won't be the last, highly recommended!"

"We had previously visited ASK Italian in another town and were not impressed with their vegan options, but decided to give them another chance. When we arrived at the restaurant at 11:30 am, there was no one around except for the kitchen staff. After waiting for about 10 minutes and with the assistance of one of the chefs, we were finally seated without an apology for the delay. The separate vegan menu offered a few pizzas with vegan mozzarella and some pasta choices. We opted to try the vegetable soup, rosemary and sea salt bread, and vegetable pasta (fettuccine con verdure). The food arrived quickly, though we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. The soup was enjoyable, the bread was average for its price, but the pasta was disappointing. Drenched in oil with no hint of the advertised garlic and chilli seasoning, all I could taste was the olive tapenade, which also had an oily taste. My stomach felt unsettled for the rest of the day. To add to the disappointment, we received the bill promptly, but had to wait a while to pay as there was a delay in getting someone to assist us. Overall, our dining experience was underwhelming, starting and ending with waiting to be served."

"The restaurant has a colorful and lively atmosphere with beautiful wall papers, decorations, and colorful window displays. Even though we were not initially looking for dessert, we couldn't resist trying the chai latte, raspberry mousse, and tiramisú desserts. The tiramisú was light and fluffy, reminiscent of another great Italian place we had tried in California. The raspberry tart was a delightful explosion of flavors, with each layer perfectly complementing the next. The chai latte was smooth and just the right amount of spiced, providing a calming and enjoyable finish to our meal. I highly recommend this place for a date or special treat, you deserve it!"

"Lots of options for food, limited options for cocktails. Food was delicious and the service was good, if not a bit slow at times. We would definitely visit again! I had the pumpkin katsu, it was absolutely incredible. Restaurant is clean and well spaced out. Low lighting inside which made it more comfortable. Chopsticks only so if you can't use them then beware!"

"my wife and I went here to eat a quick bite and were initially optimistic. the reviews were mostly good and the staff was friendly. we ordered the baked rice, a hand roll and a drachen roll. the meat in the fried rice. was much over boiled so that it was dry, hard and tasteless. there was no sweetness in the rice (never the picture on the menu) and the spicy tasted as if it were just soy sauce. the handrolle was bland, and the drachenrolle tasted as if it was over a week ago. we were still hungry, but decided that we would rather be hungry than ordering anything else. judging by eating alone, I would rate this place a star, but the personal was friendly and the service was fast. the notizblock papers with customer drawings about the walls give him a funny feeling, so there are definitiw potential. but eating was sad only bad."

"Absolutely terrible service it took almost 2 hours for us to receive our food, I rang twice, I presume they’d forgotten our order and I reminded them the first time I rang, they told me it was ‘on its way’ a 15 minute journey, strangely took 40 minutes. If the food was amazing it would have been worth it, we had to warm it up and the salad literally consisted of 2 small leaves, shocking food, shocking service!"

"our first sushi experience was a more successful at sushido. the service was excellent with daniella time to explain the different menu options. the food was extremely deliciously presented extremely well. we paid more than what we usually did for a meal...out, but it was a special occasion that was worth high-quality fresh food! They also kindly brought out a delicious dessert for my daughter, as it was her birthday that was a nice, nice note. we would like to come back!"

"Booked a table of 5 for my birthday dinner. We were promptly seated then immediately asked for drinks orders before even being offered a drinks menu or water. After we had ordered drinks we were being rushed into ordering some food, every two minutes different waiters coming and asking if we are ready to order (at least 7 times). After we did order and the food was brought out, we were then just forgotten about and nobody came over anymore to check if we needed any more drinks (4 out of 5 glasses were empty) or if the food was ok. (It was- but no one checked). After we had finished dining, we still had empty glasses and had to wait 20+ minutes until we eventually stopped a waiter walking past and asked if we could order more drinks. The drinks then took another 15 minutes to come. It was also very disappointing that although we had mentioned on the booking itself that it was for my birthday, there was no acknowledgement of this (I have been before and had received a plate with ‘happy birthday’ written on it in some kind of sauce with a sparkler). My sister even went to ask the woman working on the front desk and received a standoffish attitude back saying no. When the £235 bill came, it even listed ‘birthday plate £0.00’ on it!!! That really let the evening down. The interactions with the staff themselves were great, they were very polite and personable but the actual level of service of being rushed to order and then totally forgotten about really dampened what could have been a fantastic evening."

Koshari is a traditional Egyptian dish that consists of rice, chick peas, macaroni and lentils topped with a (hot) tomato sauce and sprinkled with vermicelli and crispy fried onions. Allegedly it started as a leftover dish among lower class families when the cook of the house would add the week's leftover food items into one big pot. "I just came for the Mac and Cheese pizza. It didn't disappoint. The base was slightly undercooked however, but it was still tasty. I also ordered dough balls which at first bite I wasn't too sure about. There was cheese vegan I think in the middle that I wasn't use to but after a few more bites I was hooked. They were yummy hot or cold. There was seating inside and outside and there was enough space for multiple parties. I ordered for take away and was given a discount for this, I'm not sure how much of a discount I was given but I was pleased none the less. While I was waiting for my order, I over heard a party a few meters away from me rave about their corn dogs vegan probably . I will try that next time."

"We stood up in line for an hour but upon entry the receptionist just lead us to a small cramped table. It was cold and windy everywhere in the restaurant, people were all wearing their coats. The proximity of other diners means you can barely hear your companions. Full of screaming kids and buggies. When we wanted to order, we were told bluntly our choice was out of stock or unavailable at the time, so we had to rethink what we wanted to order. I have never had such service in my life. Cheeky to add service charge considering we did most of the chasing and were ignored most of the time. Excruciating wait, sold out items, messed up order. And the staff including the unprofessional manager entertaining each other in front of the restaurant whilst diners were waving frantically for attention. A clear: NO-GO restaurant!"

"Recently spent an amazing time in Côte Guildford with my boyfriend. We decided to visit restaurant just from the street, intrigued to try some french cuisine. The place looked elegant and smart inside. It was really cosy, warm and romantic. The staff warmly welcomed us at the door to give us the best seats and gave us some water in a nice jug. Cristal clear glasses and cutlery, delishious meals, splendid aromatic coffee and lovely desserts. All the waiters provided a wonderful service and helped us with recommendations. Really pleased to find place like that totally unexpectedly."

"We arrived for lunch but the kitchen was closing as it was 2.30pm they very kindly took our orders and we sat in the beautiful courtyard garden in the bank holiday sunshine enjoying two bowls of delicious meatball pasta.
