"Quite simply shocking, we arrived with plenty of tables spare and took a seat on the terrace, the waitress saw us snd gave us menus then proceeded to seat snd serve every other person besides us.. we had to go inside and ask to be...served! Given that someone followed us out to serve us, two ‘regulars’ intervened and asked to be moved next to us on the terrace where there wasn’t much room and proceeded to be served, looked after impeccably before then getting to us.. we then noticed all other patrons were served their drinks etc first.. so went to ask where our drinks were we had ordered two pizzas by this stage.. must have waited mins for drinks from the time we arrived (both of us have hospitality backgrounds the weather changed so we moved indoors probably another mins before pizzas arrived.. mine was so greasy I had to use a napkin to soak it off, and then just couldn’t eat it as tasted too greasy.. we weren’t asked why I left half the pizza.. at this stage our waitress cleared the table and we asked for the bill, we waited another ten mins snd the same waitress came back and asked if we’d like anything else.. no we would just like the bill like we asked for.. service charge was added, think it should say optional, we took this off immediately as the service was shocking and I refuse to pay for it!! This place needs to be very careful.. there are so many fantastic places in Harrogate you need to keep up with the times! We will not be returning.. and I suggest anyone looking at this place thinks twice!"

"The staff were very friendly, and the food was good They were attentive and we didn't wait for anything. Had good music and felt like a real Italian, rather than a zizzi or prezzo chain The only negative was the bill. We didn't have alcohol yet our drinks bill came to around pound for cokes and a soda and lime which I felt was overly expensive. But the good was good and overall it was enjoyable."

"Booked last minute for 9 of us with 2 dogs, despite being busy they fit is in in the garden and we were delighted with the food and charming service. Pizzas were delicious, pasta (bolognese/cannelloni/penne Gorgonzola and seafood linguine) all very good, homemade and great value for money. Highly recommend."

"One of the owners is vegan, so they understand what it means to cater to a variety of dietary preferences. We tried the olive paste, garlic bread, and burger, all of which were delicious. The pasta portions were generous, and the red sauce was flavorful (I have high standards for Italian cuisine). It's best to arrive early as the restaurant can get busy, and please note that the address provided is incorrect (it is actually located on S Parade)."

"We booked a special birthday lunch here, having seen some good reviews. We were shown to the ballroom, where the flowers on the table were dead!! We were then given a bar menu of small plates. When we asked for the lunch menu, we were told that they were not running lunch today, as they had a large booking in the evening. We booked in advance and the day before, we had an email asking us to reconfirm our booking, which we did. The restaurant didn’t bother to warn us in advance despite having told them it was a special birthday lunch. Appalling service, so we left and ate elsewhere, at the White Hart in Fyfield, where we had a wonderful meal"

"such a beautiful place loves the style and ambiente; super clean, modern, but warm and welcoming with beautiful wood cladding and exposed beams. lighting is great, beautiful and warm not too bright. feels like the design and the aesthetics of the place were really thought out and busy. the personal was super attentive, friendly and personal not overlaid or intrusive. it felt like they enjoyed being there as much as they want us to enjoy it. the food/drink menus are extensive, with many veg/bread options. super tasty, beautifully presented and quickly produced with nothing to criticize whatever. Cocktail selection is brilliant, and we enjoyed the taste and presentation of the ones we had. a light nigger is that the cocktail menu “Any 3 for 2” on cocktails, which are specified individually at £8,50 per price. we did not get the impression that this applies only to 3 of the same cocktail. a little strange as they are all the same price. that was my only criticism, as far as the experience goes, but that doesn't mean it wasn't worth it. in total we had a nice time! in any case soon to come back."

"This was probably one of the worse service experiences I've had at a restaurant. I booked a table for 8 for myself and some friends. The number dropped down to 6 but I wasn't able to advise the restaurant about this as it happened literally at the last minute. My friends were there when I arrived and immediately, i noted everyone was unhappy with the table we were given as it was right next to a window where the sun was beating as well as under an AC device that didnt hit our table at all. I asked if we could move to another table and the waiter blatantly said that we weren't important enough he said something quite unintegible about the table being booked for 8, to which I said we are now six and I wasn't able to advise as it had happened two hours before the booking start time. After that, whenever that waiter served us, it was very blatant that he was doing the minimum for us, such as dropping the cutlery rather loudly on the end of the table instead of placing it under whoever ordered the dessert. He was also hovering in a really creepy way around our table and then walking away. We considered not paying the service charge but decided against it as we didn't want the hassle and when other waitresses were serving us it was ok. The food was good hence the 1 star, but the service was way off all thanks to that waiter and not acceptable for a Friday evening and a big group of people. I tend to book tables for groups of 6 8 of us and Prezzo in Hornchurch has just proved themselves not worthy of this business."

"for the first time with a friend in this restaurant. it is a family-run restaurant and they are very friendly and welcoming. we have tried the garlic bread with cheese together with the local pizza (vegetarian) and really enjoyed our meal. the employees are attentive, but balance this with let them enjoy their meal alone. the prices are reasonable, food freshly cooked to order and tastes really good. very accommodating if they want to make any changes that they want to make with eating, as leaving off ingredients (for me it was left alcohol from some of the fish dishes that was great. highly recommended."

"The restaurant had a cozy and relaxing ambiance, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I ordered a seafood risotto that was filled with mussels, king prawns, squid, and sea bass, all mixed with creamy and flavorful rice. Although the prices were on the higher side, it was definitely worth it for a special occasion. Overall, it was a great dining experience for dinner."

"From our first welcome by Howell to paying our bill, we had first class, friendly service. Good choice of menus, and explanations readily given for anything we weren’t sure of. I had a beetroot and goat’s cheese salad for a starter, and my husband had white anchovy bruschetta. For mains we both had mafalde with a pesto of asparagus and peas with Parmesan, and a generous helping of goats cheese for me. To finish we had an affogato, with amaretti for crunch. To drink we had still water. Just perfect for a relaxing lunch."

"We have ordered in an easy and relaxed manner, no rush from the staff at all , Iliyan the manager and Saima our waiter were very helpful with my allergy , she is an amazing waiter making our stay very pleasant, answered my friend’s questions about the food ! The manager is an amazing person , ensuring we were well looked after . I have been asking him the name of the person who sitted us , he informed me that her name is Daday , the kindest person ever , although very busy she asked us how we are and had a chat until seated . Thank you for a memorable experience with you ! We will definitely be back !"

"It 's quite difficult to weed out the 'reviews ' from the reviews these days. This is a review. I visited very early evening on a rainy Halloween without a booking. From the outside it looks pretty lively it certainly stands out from the many other Italians in Scarborough. The gentleman who greeted me didn 't flinch, tut or roll his eyes when I said I admitted I was without booking and offered me a table by the fire in the bar. He then pitched up quickly with a menu and took my drink order: Birra Moretti on tap hurrah who wouldn 't? I had come specifically for pizza and even the specials board couldn 't dissuade me. I ordered the Diavola, which came with a warning due to its chilli and N 'duja content. I was feeling adventurous. A steaming pizza duly arrived and I ate every bit. It was absolutely delicious: very thin base perfectly topped with aforesaid toppings along with pepperoni. It was hot, but not too hot (no need for a warning) and the meaty bits were good and salty. 'Reviews ' claim this is the best restaurant in Scarborough. It may be, but as I haven 't visited every restaurant in Scarborough I can 't verify that. But what I can say with honesty is that this is a lovely, cozy Italian serving perfect pizza."

"I visited this restaurant based on recommendations and it didn’t disappoint. Husband ate surf and turf, the lobster and stake was cooked to perfection. I had the lamb which was lovely. We visited on a Tuesday evening in October. Most of The restaurants were quiet In Edinburgh at 8pm, not Chez Jules it was full and had such a lovely authentic atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I will definitely visit again next time I am in Edinburgh. Booking is recommended due to popularity."

"We have eaten here quite a few times as it has tastes to suit everyone , and my younger daughter loves tiramisu which they do very well . Our party included a baby, and someone in her eighties and four other adults. One choices were pasta Bolognese, an Chicken Caesar, Lasagna, a leggera padana pizza, Melanzane, and a Romana pizza. Their leggera pizza have 600 calories and are hollowed out with a slada replacing the dopugh in the middle. We had a collection of sides and starters. The baby enjoyed broccoli which was not overcooked and others enjoyed dough balls. The desserts were tiramisu, Lotus biscoff cheesecake , and then some of us had the mini desserts -dolcretti where a cup of coffee is served with a mini dessert, one had a carrot cake, one had figs in mascarpone amd one had a mini tiramisu. Every one from 11 months to 82 enjoyed the food, and the service was quick and friendly. However it is recommended you book ahead if it is Sunday or there are more than two of you, as we once got turned away when he had not booked"
"This is the place to book for a delicious meal where the tortelloni pasta is rolled thinly, the pasta bases are proper italiano, the sauces are tasty and the meat specialities like veal, beef and 'pollo ' are always tender. Ask for the soup of the day for an unusual but spot on combination.try and avoid the complimentary bread and olives if you don 't want to be too full before the main meal arrives! These are not small dieters portions, so ask for a small helping if you 're worried about that kind of thing. There are no pretences or frills, this is trattoria styling with full blown flavours of Italy. The warm welcome you get from the owners is unequalled in any other Aberdeen restaurant of this ilk. Minimal improvements could be made to the baby changing toilet facilities and maybe by stocking some prosecco this restaurant would be 100% splendid. But the food could not get any better. Try, try and try again"

"Last weekend, I visited this restaurant with my family and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the restaurant and the staff. The waiters were friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. As someone with severe allergies, I was grateful for the care they took in adapting my dish from the menu to ensure it was safe for me to eat. They also went above and beyond in providing excellent service to the child in our group. If I lived closer, I would definitely make this restaurant a regular dining spot."

"We were the only 2 diners in the restaurant for a midweek pre-theatre meal. The food took a very long time to arrive (burger and salad took half and hour for some reason). When my daughter's vegan burger came it was completely rock hard and burnt right through. It must have been noticed when it was put on the plate. They did replace it and she was provided with complimentary olives by way of apology, but when we came to pay, that too took a very long time. The card machine had an apparent fault and declined repeated attempts to pay on multiple cards. Eventually this was rectified, but it was a real shame because the food (when a fresh burger was served) was absolutely superb. We wouldn't go here again unfortunately, which is a shame as it's so close to the theatres."

"Finally dined in here late on a Friday night and it was GREAT. Chilled neighbourhood restaurant vibes with the friendliest staff and fellow diners. The menu is VAST; pizzas, pasta, fries, dips and drinks. And the service was really great, friendly and helpful. Pizzas took a little while but we were happy chilling. The food itself was a little salty for my taste! We had the cheeseburger pizza, mac and cheese, meatballs and fried chicken. The fried chicken was the highlight, crispy and moorish, the pasta and pizza was good, but salty and strong, I’d go for something more veg-laden next time. Drinks selection was good, we liked the Fritz soft drinks, loads of Toast beers and a good range of AF beers too. We were gutted to be too full for dessert. Go here for the great vibes and all vegan menu, it’s popular and small so book ahead at busy times. At around £50 for loads of food and ample drinks for two, prices are aok too.
