"It 's quite difficult to weed out the 'reviews ' from the reviews these days. This is a review. I visited very early evening on a rainy Halloween without a booking. From the outside it looks pretty lively it certainly stands out from the many other Italians in Scarborough. The gentleman who greeted me didn 't flinch, tut or roll his eyes when I said I admitted I was without booking and offered me a table by the fire in the bar. He then pitched up quickly with a menu and took my drink order: Birra Moretti on tap hurrah who wouldn 't? I had come specifically for pizza and even the specials board couldn 't dissuade me. I ordered the Diavola, which came with a warning due to its chilli and N 'duja content. I was feeling adventurous. A steaming pizza duly arrived and I ate every bit. It was absolutely delicious: very thin base perfectly topped with aforesaid toppings along with pepperoni. It was hot, but not too hot (no need for a warning) and the meaty bits were good and salty. 'Reviews ' claim this is the best restaurant in Scarborough. It may be, but as I haven 't visited every restaurant in Scarborough I can 't verify that. But what I can say with honesty is that this is a lovely, cozy Italian serving perfect pizza."

We came as a party of 5 for my mom's birthday. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. Shared the calamari starter and seafood platter, both delicious. We all enjoyed our meals. Good price. Thank you!

Once again the two of us enjoyed a lovely Italian meal in this popular neighbourhood restaurant. Yes, it was busy and noisy but the catering and service were very good, and the house wine was fine. The price overall was very fair. View menu

Visited here following a recommendation for New year's Eve, it did not disappoint. Service was first class and food was amazing. Friendly staff and would definitely return. A little more expensive than other Italian restaurants but well worth it.

Lovely old school Italian-well presented and busy looking.Service spot on from walking in -nice waiting area for a drink and ordering-nothing too much trouble and reasonably priced-food excellent and all staff friendly and willing to share a laugh

This place is 5 stars easily. I love the staff; they are so friendly, fun and nice. They played happy birthday over the loudspeakers for my family-members birthday next week! (The pavlova is out of this world). All the staff are brill, but Anna especially is amazing! Could not ask for a better experience! This, out of all the places I have been to, is by far the best. It takes you across the sea for the ultimate Italian experience. Best service and the atmosphere is superb. 5 stars!

Amazing Italian! Was like being in Italy! Family run Italian that’s been in Scarborough for years and imports traditional Italian ingredients which you can tell from the quality of food! I would suggest booking especially when Tuscany too is closed as was very busy! We attended this time for a birthday meal weren’t disappointed! We had starters main this time and glad we did! I had the calamari which was cooked beautifully. The special pate was lovely too! For main, I had the prawn spicy pasta (not sure of the Italian name was delicious!
