What an amazing night. We went to celebrate my birthday and the whole evening felt really special. From my own cocktail at the start of the evening to a birthday ice cream at the end and the food was amazing, the best we've eaten in a long time. Would definitely recommend.

We were so impressed with our visit last year whilst on holiday that we booked again..... The food was perfectly cooked and presented. The starters/mains and desserts all 10 out of 10. The staff were brilliant, cocktails were incredible, and if we hadn’t already said no phones on our date I’d of had photos to prove it! 100% recommend this place as a special treat! Really enjoyed a pre theatre dinner here. Friendly team, with delicious, creative food that is beautifully presented and expertly cooked and agree about the benefits of the woodfired oven! The homemade mini loaves of bread with different 'butters ' was a creative surprise. All of us were impressed with our different choice of dishes. Highly recommend. Service: Dine in

I found Embers through TripAdvisor. From the reviews, I expected it to be good but what we found was exceptional quality food and drink. Particular highlights for me were the scampi, smoked salmon and the Embers Old Fashioned, but everything was very good, even the water! The staff were very friendly and were happy to provide an item not on the menu. The prices were also very reasonable. We will definitely be visiting again.

3.5 stars to be fair. A little disappointed with portion sizes of the mains for the price I paid. The tomahawk pork was basically the same size as a pork chop but with a longer bone 18 pound plus 4 pound for roast potatoes. The kebab burger was very small. 28 pound for a bottle of white and 8 pound for a special lager. All in all 95 pound for 2 starters 2 mains a bottle of overpriced wine and a pint of overpriced lager Food: 4 View menu
