"Always have a lovely meal at this restaurant, the staff very attentive but not over bearing. The restaurant is small so it’s never too loud that you cannot hold a conversation. But still has a nice atmosphere about it. Careful where you park. There is free parking after 7 close by but before that wardens are lethal. Highly recommend you try this lovely Italian"

"This was my first experience at an Italian restaurant, and it was truly special. I started with the broccoli appetizer and I didn't want it to end! We also ordered a bottle of white wine that was on special and it was fantastic. It was fruity at first and had a dry aftertaste. For my main course, I chose the Casa Italia pasta dish with spinach and ricotta. For dessert, I had the amaretto dessert and it was so delicious that I could have cried. The atmosphere was sweet and cozy, with great music that set the mood. The staff treated us like family and I would highly recommend this restaurant. It was a truly special find. Thank you."

"We went out for dinner with friends at Alitalia and were very satisfied. "I booked a table for (arrived at and was not seated until My girlfriend and I ended up standing in the middle of the restaurant waiting, which was pretty disappointing. The place was packed with tables right next to each other, there...was no form of social distancing. I understand this is a difficult time for restaurants and hospitality, but health and safety should take precedence. I thought the food was tremendous and I have no issue with that, I was just very disappointed with the service. I like this restaurant and the interior was beautifully decorated but I hope the restaurant improves its service and complies with COVID guidelines. In future NOT ALL tables should be full, they should be distanced. Perhaps if customer’s tables are not ready, you should offer them a drink or acknowledge the fact that they are standing in the middle of the restaurant waiting. I have worked in hospitality for years and customer service is incredibly important, I hope that the owners make a note of this and make the necessary changes, as I would love to see Olive Garden succeed."

"We stayed in Brighton for a few days as it was my son's birthday, we stumbled over Cafe Aldo when we had 2 children with us and needed to get a breakfast. Breakfast was delicious and a good serving size. The service was excellent and he even put our buggy away for us, so we had more space. After the demand for the account of the owners who worked nicely, it was my son's birthday without asking them to buy a free piece of chocolate cake with 2 pots of ice. The whole café then sung happy birthday for him!! Thanks for making his day and making him feel so special. Will definitely visit the next time and choose with many cafes I would definitely recommend this place for a beautiful family business!!"

"Me and my friend went for dinner last Monday,the waiter was so far not interested to do his job,or he might not know how to do it,He just damp my cuttleries on the table when there was a table napkin for this purpose.We both had prawns as a main and garlic bread which was amazing, and cannolo so called siciliano(but only the shape would remind you of that) which was soggy an tasteless,and trust me I know what I'm saying about cannolo being sicilian.Later my husband join us and he ordered spaghetti carbonara which was made with bacon,no black pepper....and again his cuttleries was damped on the table without even being wiped after we had dinner and was some sauces .When we asked for the bill they told me they can't give me a printed bill,just an old fashioned hand written bill on 2024.I gave the 3 stars o ly for the amazing prawns and garlic bread taste,nothing else."

"We had a short break in Cardiff for the first time and rather than go to the usual chain restaurants in the city centre we decided to try a local one instead. We looked on a well known website that advises on trips ; decided on this one and made a reservation. This proved to be a great decision as we had a really nice meal. We walked there from the centre, which took about 40 minutes and although we'd worked up an appetite after travelling to Cardiff that day, perhaps a taxi would have been a better option. On arrival, the service was prompt and efficient and the resaurant itself is quite modern. Situated on a long street that is full of numerous restaurants, cafes and takeaways covering all types of cuisine you could think of, Svago's grey and wooden facade with green neon sign stands out from it's neighbours. Rather than go for different choices, I ordered some favourite options to be able to get a true reflection of how Svago compared with my preferred Italian eateries and it did a good job. The meatballs followed by the chicken and chorizo risotto were rich in flavour and stood up well to the best I've had elsewhere. At the end of the evening, the bill for the two of us was reasonable and it lived up to the favourable reviews."
