"Booked fairly last minute and got a table for 4. We ordered 2 x chicken burgers, 1 x steak and carbonara with garlic bread. Food was really nice to be fair! No option for peppercorn sauce BUT it’s an Italian so can’t be expected. Dessert we had brownies and fondant, really nice can’t be faulted. Didn’t catch our waitresses name, but she was blonde and pregnant so nice, really kind and welcoming to us. Good value for money, for a drink each; meal each (including steak) two sides and 4 desserts £150. Can’t fault it."

"Dreadful and outrageous service. We arrived within minutes of our booking time, to be advised that our table was not ready. There were several tables available, and we were reluctantly shown to one! We ordered two beers and two medium rare rib eye steaks. The drinks arrived promptly. One steak arrived with a tiny amount of undressed salad. This dish was priced at £25.50 and as we were advised did not include even a few chips. Actually I was asked if I had read the menu clearly not well enough to realise I’d ordered a thin uninspiring steak with a minuscule quantity of salad. I was provided with some oil and balsamic. We did ask of there were some chips to accompany the dish, and were told this was extra we politely declined. The second steak arrived with the same mediocre and frankly appaling presentation. Bizarrely, two portions of chips appeared as we were finishing what passed for the main course. When we enquired again if these were included, we refused them on the basis of the the unreasonable extra charge. We decided to leave without further ado, and asked for the bill at the front desk. The gentleman who appeared to be the manager/owner was surprised when we refused to pay the additional service charge. The food and service was dreadful, and I would suggest you consider the many other restaurants in Twickenham before booking here. I will not be returning the attitude and lack of service was staggering and a grave disappointment bearing in mind I had been recommended to this establishment."

"last night I picked up 2 pizzas for dinner and must say for the price is simply the best pizza in the west. I have never tried the rest of her eating, but every time I had pizza, it was on the place. the beats are delicious, the pizzas are big enough and their mozzarella is something else! her service is always very fast and the staff is very friendly. it is the only place I know in glasgow that makes a real Italian pizza and it is not overpriced. "we had a nice meal here on recommendation from my mother who is vegan. the entire menu is plant-based. we came at 5 o'clock before it was pretty busy. two of us had pizzas that were super tasty. the bases are really very tasty and they have options to make them from alternative ingredients hemp and liberty bases were for a few pounds more, but we were happy to have only the totality. one of our fractions had "the with pesto" and another "seasonal." I decided for something else the 'pure bowl' a salat type wonderful mix of lenses, spelling, kale, courgettes, soaked tomaten and crispy mais. we shared a chocolate pizza between us 3 for dessert, which was a good size and about the right amount after our meal. the food was delicious and the personal attention. will definitely be back."

"Although the restaurant itself was very nice and we could not fault the attentive service of the waiting staff, the food was OK but not overly hot. We only had a main meal each plus drinks and shared a dessert. What annoyed us was, while we could do nothing but accept the 12.5% service charge on the bill, when we paid the bill by cash, we were not given any change which we felt was very cheeky. This was not just a few pennies it was nearly £7. If the change had been returned we may have chosen to leave a tip, however for it not to be returned left us feeling rather aggrieved. It should not be assumed that paying by cash means keep the change, especially when a service charge has already been added. Having only booked this restaurant for its location to the theatre we were going to, it definitely was not the best meal we had during our stay in London and the experience was the one we were the most disappointed with. I might add, the waiter who took the money from us was not one that had been serving us prior to this, he just happened to be passing our table."

"My partner and I wanted to head in to town from South Dublin but hadn't booked anywhere. I gravitate toward Italian so did a quick check on Open Table and booked Rosa Madre having never been before and my partner and I loved it! The food and wine were great and reasonable for that part of Dublin. We were greeted by a really friendly guy in a cool black suit with some super out there trainers but he looked the business.. so Italian and stylish! Same for the rest of the staff though, really smart. We were seated upstairs and our waitress, who may well have been head, was excellent and in between giving us very attentive service was guiding and training a couple of newbies and did it so well without making them feel like the newbies. She fillited the sea bass in front of us but again it was so well done it just added to the great experience. Would happily recommend. We sat next to a family birthday and a lovely fuss was made with the birthday cake so I'd imagine this place would be great for a special occasion."

"Very nice place located in a very nice area of Richmond. Very positive: Owners and staff were very friendly and kind people. Drinks wise, my partner and I really liked the idea of Spritz and Negroni made with the typical Sardinian spirit, Mirto, as the Vermentino white wine was nice too. We were promptly served with Aperitifs and bread and olives, which were very nice. I enjoined my starter, Calamari ripieni and the dessert which was Millefoglie sarda. Very negative: My Calamari ripieni portion, in spite of the fact I really enjoyed them, was very small. Too small, I’d say, even for a starter. My partner’s BRUSCHETTA RUSTICA. The bread wasn’t nice at all as the cherry tomatoes weren’t. The mains, we had great expectations about, left us very disappointed. I ordered fresh pappardelle chestnut pasta with lamb ragù, but in spite of the fact the lamb sauce wasn’t bad at all, the pasta was quite disappointing. The Pappardelle were basically flavourless. My partner Sea-bass pan fried with salad and potatoes didn’t taste nice either. Especially the potatoes seemed old, like if they were reheated from the day before. Shame. Because we really liked the place, the atmosphere and the people working there, but if, the overall experience about food we were served was disappointing, that makes us not coming back there ever again."

"Went here for lunch on my birthday. The food was excellent and the service was superb. Everything tasted great with wonderful favors and textures. I never had to pour my own water and never had an empty cup. Service was attentive and no mistakes were made. Food was sent with correct timing, not too quick or too long. We collect many stars and restaurants sometimes don’t live up to expectations. This place truly deserves their star. I saw a few negative Comments in reviews about the menu not creative enough. This is not the place for that. Speaking from someone who lived in Italy and engaged to an Italian lady, the food is cooked a prepared perfectly. Nothing was offensive to the palette, nothing over or under cooked, the textures were right. It’s about cooking it right and keeping the flavors simple and pure. If that’s what impresses you, this is the place to go to."

"I visited my girlfriend last Thursday. The restaurant seems to be a hidden gem, I must admit that walking to the restaurant I wonder if we were in the right place. It has a nice outdoor area with a couple of tables and then probably about 8 to 10 tables inside. It is a rather small restaurant, but it did not feel crowded, in any case it felt very cozy. They have some fantastic products there, so I'm pretty sure you can buy.I had salami pizza (I don't remember the exact name) also had sausage and chili. I can honestly say it was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, the pretty thin bark, the perfect dough. They were also very generous with the ingredients. It was good size, but the ingredients had such a fresh taste that it didn't feel heavy, my girlfriend has some fresh pasta, and before the meal they bring the pasta options for that day. She also enjoyed hers a lot!We also had the tiramisu for the desert, which was also fantastic, but after eating the main dishes she knew it would be. The staff is very friendly, I think the owner was there also walking around tables making everyone feel special and desired.I used to visit Sardinia a lot when I was a kid, and I also loved the food there. It felt like it was in Italy!Everything is very good at price, the gastronomic experience is insurmountable.I have no complaints, what a restaurant! I'll be back!"

"The coffee is 5* by far the best coffee taste I have experienced. Having recently discovered the Swedish Oatly milk, I can without doubt say, this Cafe makes the best Cafe Late. Having said that, please be aware that this is cafe only offers about 7 seats inside and 8 seats outside. That is this is a very small space. Food I have not tried and therefore not able to rate. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their coffee. They seem to want to be there which makes the coffee even tastier... As opposed to some cafes where staff look unhappy and uncaring. The place is clean and offers a rest room, though this is not as clean as it should be."

"We had a wonderful dinner at Bricole. Six courses, some snacks to start with, and petits fours to top it off. They had an extensive and beautiful wine list, but we chose the pairing instead. We like to be taken on a journey, and they did just that. The cooking is very precise, with high-quality ingredients and a nice mix of bold and subtle flavors. The dishes had complexity without being too out there. Portions aren't big, but with six of them, they were well enough for us. If you are a big eater, you might want them a bit bigger. The wines were a perfect combination, and we appreciated that they were not the most obvious choices. Service was friendly and very competent, formal to the level that fits the guests. Prices are steep but not outrageous for the quality, especially when compared to other Michelin star restaurants. The only minor point of critique for us was the interior. It seems a bit outdated and could use a modern touch, but perhaps that's a matter of taste. All in all, one of the nicest meals we had in Berlin."
