"Great western breakfest egg, beans, toast, black pudding, square, poatoe scone, 2 slices bacon, tomato coca cola in a bottle to sit in.. 12.50£ ! Price for That is a criminal. Food wasnt nothing special. Service never ask about anything.. there is a big board on the Wall with menu without prices. You order something But you have no idea how much you will spend money on that. I still dont know how much was breakfest cost But i dont care right now because i never back to this place. On sauchiehall Street there is a same food for half prices. Any big breakfest anywhere is a cost about 6 pounds maximum with a drink."

"The food at this restaurant was fantastic! We were very impressed with the chef's creations. Although it was a bit costly, we enjoyed a delightful lunch. Our plates were left completely clean. Thank you! The price per person was between £30 and £40. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. We highly recommend trying the Scallop, Barbeque-Glazed Pig's Cheek, and Coal Baked Swede and Apple dishes."

"AVOID SAGE AT ALL COSTS. I rarely write reviews but had to make an exception for this place, for the sake of sparing others the experience we had. Where do I begin? Arrived at the “restaurant” (if you can call it that and staff were nowhere to be seen. Restaurant has a somewhat ‘eery’ feel to it with such strange decor. Took around 20 minutes until manager finally brought out the menu. After ordering was told several items missing. Food took a long time to arrive and when it did was given to the WRONG TABLE (HELLO COVID?! . Manager took plates downstairs to kitchen for a few minutes before bringing them back out to our table? (Now might be a good time to mention that the customer toilets are literally in the kitchen weird? Food was poor. Advertised as Beyond Meat burger but they brought out the much cheaper Moving Mountains burger was still charged the same extortionate £13.95 for this. … the other half of our order never arrived. At this point we were feeling pretty upset with the service so requested the bill. Manager brought out a handwritten note with various prices on it (these did not match up with the advertised prices on both the menu and the Deliveroo app . Manager informed us at the end of our meal that the card machine is out of service and told me to drive several minutes to the nearest ATM. Manager then changed his mind and told us to pay via the Deliveroo app, with the knowledge that this adds an additional service charge. Manager proceeded to stand behind/lean over my partner and take her phone out of her hands. He was adamant that we didn’t know what we were doing and behaved in a very intimidating manner. I asked the manager if I could speak to him in private away from the customers. I explained that we were unhappy with the service we had received by referring to the several points mentioned above. Myself a vegan of 6 years, I expressed to him that I care a lot about the success of small businesses such as his and suggested that menu pricing could be more clear, the advertised products actually being served etc. He became very defensive and hostile, blaming my partner for several things that had happened and alternating between reasonings behind the price discrepancies. “If you didn’t like what I was doing and I made you feel unsafe, why don’t you speak up? You are a grown adult.” … those were his words to my partner. BE WARNED: many of the Google reviews and hygiene rating is from previous owners Eat Street, not Sage."

"This is a seriously concerning business and over all A TERRIBLE SERVICE. I’m going to start of by saying this experience has left me traumatised and depressed. I ordered tonight at 1:19 all was well until 2:20 (when the order should have arrived by) just eat and cafe presko straight up lied to me and told me that my order had been delivered when it clearly HAD NOT! As I had been promised a lie I attempted to ring cafe presko on TWO different phone number, none of which worked and went straight to voicemail I began to panicked as I had spent my last £13.64 on these two milkshakes hoping at the bare least they’d be delivered. I repeatedly rang hoping and praying to at least get a response on where my order was. I never got a response and just decided to wait. I am currently staying in a hotel so I decided to go down to the lobby and wait which was cold and I was in discomfort. AFTER 2 hours my order finally had been delivered. I walked outside to find a man copping out of a suspicious black damaged car with a very shady looking black bag. He stumbled over as if he was intoxicated and handed me the bag he said no words but “bye” no apology or nothing, he then drove of at a high speed. This experience has been nothing but stressful, saddening and disappointing. I really hope nobody spends their time or money ordering from here thanks for listening."

"My wife and I, along with 2 of our friends, visited Zizzi’s, Bradford, on Friday 3rd of June (2022). It was early evening and the place was nearly empty . We were shown to our table and given menus. I chose a pizza which was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals. Our waitress, a young Polish girl , was superb, very friendly, professional and smiley, exactly the kind of person that a restaurant needs. So many restaurants have waitresses and waiters that clearly hate their jobs and make for an unpleasant experience for the customers, the diners."

"We booked, turned up a little early and had to wait a while for someone to seat us. There was one other table occupied so not sure why it took so long. The eclectic style was interesting if a bit chaotic. We sat at an old wooden table with feature chairs but I had to swap mine as it was really uncomfortable and not very well upholstered. We waited quite a while for service for each course, surprising as there was a max of 3 tables occupied at any one time. The food was good. Not exceptional but good quality, tasty, well cooked and presented. My partner's favourite course was his very good steak (locally sourced), mine was the fabulous cheese at the end the cheese itself was very good but all the extras were really interesting and different. The waitress was pleasant but we did feel as if the whole place was running without enthusiasm. No attempt at any personal touch or chat. No rudeness either. But given that so much effort has gone into the decor and fittings being so different and the food and reputation are so good, it felt a bit flat."

"As summer is fast aproaching the hearty desserts like Jam rolly polly is put to one side and makes why for the lighter while still flavoursome desserts like Crepes and pancakes. I must confess I 'm more of team 'pancake ' than team crepe and for those cynics out there believe me their is a difference. However a certain little Brazilian Creperie may have changed the balance in this regard. Senzala based in the heart of Brixton Market is an inviting small restaraunt with friendly staff and with so many restaurant competing and vying for customers, it is very impressive to see Senzala is always bustling with customers and standing their ground. What is so impressive about Senzala is the options, it can 't be just considered a place you go after a meal for desert, it could easily and most of the time has appealed as a place to go and enjoy a caipirinha or two (which they have a strawberry version, worth a try) and enjoy the many options from tapas to salad to savoury crepes consisting of cheese,Italian sausage and peppers (the godfather) to sweet crepes (sweet sin) grilled banana, Belgian chocolate,splash of rum and ice cream all rolled into one flavoursome dish. With the option of eating inside or out and staff that will tend to your foody whims it most certainly a place to check out. It was more than I expected, the service and A le Carte menu surpassed our expectations. "Having booked a table the night before we arrived just before 7pm for our booking. On arrival I tried to tell the waitress that I had a table book however I was cut off with ‘table for two?’ and quickly seated. Menus were then brought over. After deciding what we were going to eat and drink we waited to be served. The restaurant was filling up however we were totally ignored. The staff seemed more interested in clearing tables and seating new diners than looking after the ones they already had! After about 25 minutes of being ignored we managed to get hold of a waiter to say we hadn’t been served. He said he would get a waitress to come over. There was a waitess close to our table however she went off to serve a table who came in after us and we were ignored again. With that we got up and left as obviously the staff just weren’t interested. We were then left with the issue of having to find somewhere else to eat"

"be a few times now, they love the deluxe hot chocolate, although it is a bit expensive. the cheeks are also very beautiful. I ordered the breakfast last time that we were there and doubled (eye bigger than bauch) it was hard to eat there. it was all stacked on a normal dish. we sat on a small table and there was hardly any space to put the drinks and teller. the crates in which they bring the best are a bit of a waste of time to be honest. you could say, unless someone has to put the serviettes in and the ones in, so it would be easy to bring the cutlery and serviette in? my only little critique, if ever that every time we were in the teamworkers, seem to huddle up and chat with each other quite a lot and the service is very slow. Last time I ordered my hot chocolate, I asked her without marshmallows, she came with them and I told the young man I had ordered without her. he never offered a new one, just said, huh? I never had a damper, but it found a bit rude not even to offer to roast it. next time I order one when it comes to them, it will be back!"

"Came down for a roast dinner with my family. The place was packed out. We were shown to our table which still had glasses and spillages on it but were told we could sit down. It took at least 10 minutes to get the table cleared and another 5 to get food menus at which point we were told that the only roast dinners available were the beef and vegetarian options. The waitress was nice enough but service overall was poor and we often wondered if we should have just gone to the bar. Majority of my family ordered burgers instead which were a bit burnt and the roast dinner I had was lukewarm. The general atmosphere was nice, I think this is potentially a great spot for a drink and day out with friends but was not great for a meal"

"When we arrived and sat down half of the menu wasn’t available. The staff seemed disinterested with serving and refilling drinks and we had to constantly try and get staff attention for help. To make things worse, there was only around 5 other tables being used so not the busiest of afternoons. When our food eventually arrived after about an hour waiting, the food was cold and looked like there was the other half of the meal missing. Unfortunately with young children with us, we had jo option but to eat what we could and get out as soon as we could. Considering that the restaurant is in prime location next to legoland and sealife for families, we did not feel welcome at all and will not be returning after this experience."
