"Supper at Yippee Noodles was again as usual a fantastic experience. A slight delay because of takeaway orders was dealt with well by the exemplary staff, and the food as usual was fantastic. More on the restaurant It’s a fantastic feeling place with great atmosphere. The prices are fair I think as well. On the food the food here is cooked by a very hard working staff and everytime is prepared quickly and too a brilliant standard. In many ways the food is actually quite simple, and I often have the soups which come with a brilliant chicken broth. The noodles seemed fresh and the prawns in my dish were very tender and perfectly cooked. The pak Choy brings a nice touch of green color to the soups and is again well cooked, not too firm and not soft at all, well done all and thabkyou for creating a fantastic place for family, friends and anyone in between."

"Popped in to try their vegan menu at an event solely for vegan food and loved every single dish. The fried jasmine rice and Katsu curry was my favourite but I scoffed everything on my plate. Will definitely be back."

"Wonderful greeting when we arrived...we had booked a room for the night and arranged for our friends to join us for a Sunday Lunch to celebrate my birthday so a very lovely table for 10 was laid out for us...my only complaint about the food was i thought the beef was a little tough...and struggled to cut it...but apparently the pork and the chicken was a hit....it was a very friendly atmosphere there...great local people were very chatty and welcoming....and so lovely to receive a complimentary glass of bubbles from the bar.... Our room was lovely very nicely decorated..relaxing..just a tad too hot for us..tried to turn off rad in bathroom..but it stayed extremely hot throughout the night......breakfast was nice. ... ...we will definitely return to the Cricketers..i had a brilliant birthday..Thank You All x"

"I visited this restaurant yesterday to celebrate my birthday, and I have to say the food was absolutely amazing! The ham and bacon croquettes and the chicken wings were simply delicious. We were taken care of by a lovely woman named Barbara, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for us; she was so friendly! The cocktails were gorgeous, too. The staff were incredibly nice, making it such a welcoming bar. We will definitely be back! I wish I could give more than just five stars—10/10 is my rating. Thank you, Exchequer, for a fantastic birthday night out!"

"Unfortunately we picked the wrong day to go to the Lamb inn.Although our table was booked it was not ready for us.We went there for a Sunday roast we could not believe there was no beef or lamb available at 1.30 pm.Plus in the short time we were there we heard a lot of complaints from customer waiting for their meals.We left without ordering .Very disappointed."

"Mothering Sunday meal for 6 plus dog! We all enjoyed splendid roasts. (4 beef, 1pork, 1 turkey) All cooked to perfection and in plentiful amounts. Charlie dog opted for the chicken from his menu! Everything was delicious and we had a most enjoyable time. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We love coming here and always have a good meal in lovely surroundings served by really nice staff. It was a first time visit for our daughter and her family and dog. They are very impressed. The Hare and Hounds states that it is dog friendly and it really is. Our canine friends are well catered for and treated like royalty! Great venue, great food, great staff and great value for money."

"What a fabulous mother’s day we had at The Otter our table was ready even though we arrived early . We opted for the Mothers Day 3 course menu which had loads of choice . The starters were delicious as were the mains with plenty of choice finishing off with a super dessert . The 3 courses were brought out promptly and the waitress couldn’t have been more helpful . All in all a fabulous experience all round . Thankyou can’t wait to return !"

"We popped in last week and had the baked Camembert as a snack. It was really lovely so we decided to go back with my son and his girlfriend. The Camembert didn’t have garlic or seeds on a previously but was ok. The kofta starter was minimal and nothing special. The turkey and beef roasts were presented nicely but no green vegetables, the parsnip was hard and the overall flavours remarkable in their absence. The hunters chicken was well received and tasty but peas would have been nicer than a mound of plain rocket. I asked for a small glass of red to go with my meal and it took until 2/3 through my meal to arrive. It was a large so I tried to gain attention but that proved difficult as it did when we tried to get tue bill. For £103.00 I would hope to have a better experience. Generally a nice atmosphere and setting/ friendly waitress. I raised the issues when asked how our meal has been and got the old “sorry!”. Don’t think I’d rush back to eat here."

"Lovely looking pub, friendly staff but rather inexperienced. Server didn’t understand what gluten free meant and had no idea what horseradish was, despite the menu stating the roast beef was served with it. Some of the roast beef served was so fatty and chewy it was inedible, however the burger was good, so maybe Sunday roasts aren’t the best choice. Especially if you want horseradish!"

Although Friday is asked to say no news today that it was not available, we asked for a prise warehouse phone and a pint of warehouse and lime, after waiting 5 minutes, we were told that they did not have limette, we ordered our starter my wife had a prawn cocktail that we perfectly, I asked the supper was delivered and I said it was tomotoe and bait. so that the woman began her starter, I offered another starter, which was 3 pieces of spicy southern hair in BBQ sauce, this was good, then into the queen for the carvery, what a chaos, finally chose the bark small, though were broomed,"

"I was with a big work group. there is something for everyone on the menu, including a handful of vegan dishes. everyone ordered apps, so I got the vegan: brot and olive oil. it was, good, broth and olive oil. there were some vegan netzen; I got the crispy tofu with cousin. tofu was good, cousin was okay. be careful when ordering: the vegan product is only dinge from the vegetarian menu without yogurt or other milk products. So they need to ask for the vegan crispy tofu, not the vegetarian."

"We came with foodie friends for dinner on a Saturday evening this was a birthday surprise had no idea where we were going but was delighted with the choice. Warmly welcomed on arrival and seated with a view over the water. The menu was fabulous Indian 'tapas ' sharing plates and/or more substantial main courses. If that was not enough a mouth watering selection of specials. Very original dishes. With guidance and suggestions from the friendly and informative staff, we worked our way through course after course; revisiting some of our favourites. The food was simply excellent. Wonderfully replete, they kindly brought out a home made birthday cake. An excellent evening, great food and one of the best Indian restaurants Ive eaten in.....and certainly the most creative. Highly recommended."

"New staff turnover is evident. So, in recent experiences, staff are finding their feet. As always we are patient and kind, but I do feel this impacts customer experience. We did wait 40 minutes on Sunday before we got a drink from entering the dining area. We have found this averages around 25 minutes for the first drink delivery at the Harrow when served in the dining area. There seems to be some disparity between dining area and bar (i.e. something needs improving here), where folks can newly walk into the bar area and get served before the diners who are patiently waiting. There seems to be no fair balance worked out here. My advise to people at the moment is to go to the bar, get your drink, then sit down with it, that way you are hydrated whilst you wait for service and someone to take your order and the subsequent wait for it to arrive. The food is 7/10 seemingly to me, always a little on the overcooked side. But at least it's hot and tastes alright. I would never see the harrow as excelling in the food stakes, but it's never pretended to be. Its at the end of the day, convenient, reasonable good, they try, and as long as they smile and try to not let the punter wait too long, it will trundle along nicely and will always be well visited."

"Service was excellent. Th starter and Desert were very good. The main course was disappointing. Too much Pesto and not enough seafood in the seafood languine. We were sure the chips for the fish and chips were frozen chips. You'd get better fish and chips from the local chippy. I'd expect better from Browns. Great space with good ambience. Felt safe from covid."

"High quality food, excellent menu, very friendly staff, very clean environment. They paid attention to detail. There are universal outlets by the tables with USB plugs and wifi. The food is not cheap and not to expensive but it is worth to treat yourself every now and then. The fresh pressed fruit and vegetable drinks are delicious. "Extremely disappointed! Took my mother for an early Mother's Day treat and was so disappointed. First of all our on-line booking through open table was not on the Admiral Rodney's list of bookings. They did find us a table but then we waited so long (10 past 7 from 6pm) for our main courses we had to ask where they were. As if by magic they appeared, having probably been under a lamp for half an our. The presentation was a disgrace and not to the standards I expect from the venue. We ordered Hunters Chicken. It had a piece of what tasted like plastic ham on top of a piece of chicken with a little pot of BBQ sauce with a few chips thrown on the plate. No sign of any cheese. Definately not Hunters Chicken. On telling the person on paying they just said it's because they had been busy due to the weather being nice! Maybe a sign should say this on future nice days!"

"Was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few vegan options on the menu. We ordered the mushroom scallops and the cauliflower wings the presentation of both was lovely but the taste itself was quite disappointing. We both ordered the seitan burger the bun was burnt which really added an unpleasant smell and flavour to the meal, the seitan itself was ok although a little flavourless. When we sat down we were warned food may take a while as.a big party had just sat down. This was ok, but the waiter then actually refused to take our order for a while 'so the kitchen didn 't get stressed '. We thought this was a bit odd we 've already been warned the food may take a while but by not taking our order it definitely felt like the big table took priority over us which is not how customers are meant to feel! (In the end another waitress came over and promptly took our order and the food arrived without delay). Trying to get the bill was also a very slow process."

"This traditional pub, wow, great food, great service, good prices, always full and busy!! Had a really good experience at The Dennington Queen (again), and had some amazing food, but the service, everyone we dealt with couldn’t be more helpful, we had just about the right amount of attention without it being intrusive which made for a great evening. Choices were excellent, even for vegan food and they were happy for us to mix and match choices around. Cauliflower starter is insanely good, as was the sweet chilli chicken and sticky toffee pudding! Coming back again before we go home."
