"The staff were lovely and could not do more however, there were only 2 staff on and they were very harassed although they their best not to show it. The starter was excellent but The prime burger was very dry with a very sad piece of lettuce and tomatoe on it.. the chips were lukewarm. The dessert was average and we were only offered other drinks quite a while after we had eaten. We decided not to stay for tea and coffee. We used to eat here very regularly and always at Christmas but I don’t think we will be back for quite some time."

Staff were very accommodating and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Dog friendly. Food was great and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

Food was nice but the service was terrible waited 45 minutes for main course. Starter course plates were left on all the tables until we reminded them...

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will definitely recommend it to others and will continue to come back. Tim at the bar is always perfect.

Lovely staff, However food very disappointing. Luke warm and dried up fish and sauce. Obviously had been sat under lamps for a while . Expensive for poor quality . Wont be returning . View menu

The welcome was warm . The food very good. The atmosphere fine. The loos not very clean . Not very covid conscious no NHS covid passport check. We will definitely go again but with caution.

The menu was somewhat restricted with things that could easily have been sourced: burgers, rib eye, garlic bread. What we had was good food but the evening was overshadowed by the stinking dirty gents loo. I told the bar about it early in but nothing was done and it was a gut wrenching experience. Really spoilt the whole evening. Disgusting View menu

Our little group of friends really like going to the Walton Arms and enjoy the food but as we are all seniors our appetite is not what it used to be and some of us would appreciate the offer of a smaller portion as many other restaurants do. we hate sending uneaten food back! Lovely waitress and friendly staff made our visit very pleasant. Just one let down the ladies loo was a bit messy!

This pub/restaurant is our favorite spot to unwind at the end of the week with a relaxing drink. We usually stop by on early Friday evenings, but this week it was unusually busy so we decided to skip it. However, we ended up going on Saturday instead. The menu options are a bit limited, but the food is always delicious. Tonight, Sandra recommended that I try the Chicken Caesar Salad and it was an excellent choice. I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10. Well done, Walton Arms!

"Bill came to £145 for two people. This is the third time we have been to Mr Lous to try their “famous” lobster deal where you get a bottle of champagne with any 2pb Lobster which is only on Fridays. Each time we have been they have had NO lobster! Food we did order was extremely overpriced, dry and unpleasant. Duck spring rolls £7 hardly had any meat in them, just stuffed with a load of Veg. Honey Chicken £18 was basically 8 chicken nuggets on a plate with NO Sauce! We had to share the sauce from another main. Prawn toast £14 was awful! It is basically one piece of toast stuffed with more than the usual amount of Prawns. It was dry and taste was overwhelming with the amount of prawns stuffed in there. King Dum Po Chicken £24 calamari £4 £28 total for a main without any rice or chips! You could tell they reduced the portion size just to add the Calamari. Portion was mainly veg with little meat. AGAIN! Tried to order drinks with the porter who brings food to the table which he said he’ll get a staff member to come over. 15 minutes later no one came. I had my meal with no drink. We was in the booth right next to the bar so I had to go up and order it myself. Cocktail took another 10 minutes to come. Drinks were overpriced due to the lack of complimentary champagne with the lobster which we called and was assured they would have on! . Service was extremely slow, waited 20 minutes to get a waiters attention to pay the bill. You could spot way off who the owner was as she was stomping around the restaurant piercing looks at the staff. The concept of this restaurant is amazing, But the delivery on service, food, affordability and customer service have been compromised by its former reputation which once held this establishment in such a high pedestal. Now, it seems it’s got more expensive without any improvement on its service. It is the kind of restaurant you try once just for experience, but retention of customers is defiantly an issue this restaurant faces. Restaurant itself was designed with a gorgeous interior with good lighting. But, I wouldn’t be deceived."
