"The food arrived promptly and was delicious. The wrap was packed with flavorful chicken, fresh vegetables, and a tasty sauce. The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food from "Wraps & Wings" and will definitely be ordering from them again in the future."

"Our server, Mark, was exceptional. Every time I thought 'I might want.. ' he was there in front of us. Definately questioning telepathy. It reminded me of the service I got when I went to a michelin star, honestly. Very attentive and unintrusive. Only lost one star for the size of the vegetarian option and cost I think we forget that veggies are substantially less filling than meat. The portion was already small, but in comparison with my friend 's meat option, priced about the same, it was quite sad. I was still hungry after the £18 ! Aubergine Gratin. I imagine portion size is a pretty quick fix for this place, so I really hope they just listen and make it bigger. I would come semi regularly if they did, I probably would not come again at all if they didn 't."

"I’ve just been for lunch with my family, whilst some of the meal was fine there were parts in which were disappointing. Firstly there were a few staff who weren’t very friendly and just seemed sad to be there. We ordered our food and a whole dinner was left out. It was made in the end and the person who realised was very apologetic. I am a vegan through allergy reasons and what I ordered the starter was chewy and felt like rubber and it was so small. The vegan starter I’m referring to. The mushroom burger I was told didn’t have vegan cheese, the chips I was told are all cooked in the same frier which means there are no vegan or vegetarian chips, this isn’t specified anywhere which is against the food standards agency. There should be somewhere written down, you can’t advertise a vegan burger with chips if the chips are cooked in the same as the meat ones. Our starter plates were not cleared from the table when our mains came also. It felt like a very impersonal experience and since we had to sit in the downstairs dinning room it felt as though we were just left out. I can understand going to the bar to order but it would have been nice for someone to come over and ask how we were. All in all it was a rather disappointing Sunday lunch which has left us not very eager to rush back anytime soon."

"The staff were lovely and could not do more however, there were only 2 staff on and they were very harassed although they their best not to show it. The starter was excellent but The prime burger was very dry with a very sad piece of lettuce and tomatoe on it.. the chips were lukewarm. The dessert was average and we were only offered other drinks quite a while after we had eaten. We decided not to stay for tea and coffee. We used to eat here very regularly and always at Christmas but I don’t think we will be back for quite some time."

"Our first venture in since the new menu was introduced. A warm welcome from Brian who showed us to our table put us at our ease. He explained she that would be over to take our drinks order, and Sophie would be looking after us throughout our meal. we have a difficult time choosing from the menu as it had all our favourites. We picked the creamy mushrooms and the duck and orange pâté for our starters. I was going to have a roast, as it sounded delicious, but I was tempted away by the sharing platter of prawns, sticky chicken, lamb koftas with humus, tzatziki and flatbread. The food duly arrived, beautifully presented with pretty edible flowers. The pâté was smooth and tasty, and the toasted bread with it was delicious. The button mushrooms were in a rich creamy buttery sauce on a slice of toast. Main courses were a triumph, brought to the table by Tom, a very pleasant young man : roast sirloin of beef, a trio with beef pork and turkey accompanied by all the trimmings, and my mixed platter.Every single element was perfect from Yorkshire puddings and bacon wrapped stuffing, to the al dente broccoli, French beans, roasted parsnips carrots and potatoes, and cauliflower cheese. All irresistible and cooked to perfection, compliments to Joe, the chef. We had a breather with a coffee, then forced ourselves to choose a pudding, a tricky task as they were all so tempting, and we plumped for strawberry trifle with extra custard and raspberry sorbet I loved Sophie, she didn’t say no to anything! double chocolate brownie, and the phenomenal mango pavlova, the prettiest dessert I’d ever seen. Happily they all exceeded our expectations with their tastes and flavours. The pink and white swirled meringue in the pavlova was flavoured with a zingy fruity flavour which was a delicious surprise to me, and the best meringue I’ve ever had. Overall, we were delighted with our visit, and we’ve rebooked for next week already."

"Everyone had a great dining experience, which was enhanced by the friendly and efficient waitstaff. While the menu was somewhat limited, there was still something for everyone to enjoy. The prices were reasonable, especially considering that bar prices were not excessively marked up like in some hotel restaurants."

"The restaurant was moderately busy, enough to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The waiting staff were prompt, helpful and friendly throughout the meal. Starters were fine, but my husband’s ribeye steak, though cooked as requested, was more gristly and fatty than expected. In fairness, we received a genuine apology from the restaurant manager and our coffee/brandy order was free of charge. This was much appreciated."

"This charming restaurant has a fantastic location. The food was superb, and we were pleased to see that they even accommodated dogs. As a vegetarian, I was disappointed that the only vegetarian main course (aubergine parmigiana) was unavailable, so I settled for the mushroom burger, which was a processed patty and not very good. I don't always want a veggie burger when dining out, but it often seems to be the only choice. The desserts were delightful, and overall, our group of six had an enjoyable meal."

"While the vegan options were a bit limited, the food at this restaurant was quite delicious. I started with the beetroot and pumpkin seed arancini, which were flavorful and tender. The vegetable penang curry and the apple and blackberry crumble with custard were also excellent choices. The service was a bit inconsistent and disorganized, but the kitchen staff clearly knows what they're doing."

"Had the Chicken Curry dish with sticky rice, it had the right amount of heat and flavor, would highly recommend. My better half had the lasagna which came piping hot to the table, was creamy with plenty of meat and cheese, garlic bread was delicious. Emma our server was friendly and reasonably attentive- was unclear if we had to pay our check at the bar or if we could pay at the table. Great overall experience and would highly recommend."

"the good is that they have a separate vegan menu, but: I ordered the starter superfood salad thought for £7.75 they get a decent part and a crumb. the salad was tiny, with only a sad piece of the advertised sweet potato and no flower cabbage. the server felt bad about it and checked with his superior who claimed it was just as it should be. I then ordered a side of sweet potatoes and butternut quash was added when I said that the kitchen was actually from sweet potatoes. I then asked for broccoli instead of the kartoffel and got a small bowl of steamless tasteless sweetened with none of the sauce/additons specified on the menu. I guess I don't have to say that the crumb wasn't great either."

"while we go out for christmas and to the second week of the year, it is time to let the Sunday-Mittags path up and running. we drove for a long overdue return to the black horse in brentwood, which is part of the vintage inns chain. I am also very pleased to say that we have not been left in the least. at our arrival we received a nice greeting that contained a reception from manager leigh before we sit at our table. we started with a drink while we watch the menu. Once we have made our decisions, our waitress nina, which I must say, has taken our order very friendly and professionally during our lunch. we started with a Prawn cocktail and the often baked button portobello mushrooms. these dishes were a joy and a great opportunity to begin. now we moved on to the roasted and young we were for a tasty bite. my wife chose the Roast Torkei and for me I had to choose the trio froms that was a mixture of black bell, truthahnbeef. the roasts were accompanied with a selection of sweet, bratkartoffeln, yorkshire pudding, gravur and of course the additional flower cauliflower cheese. we needed a little break before we finished dessert. that gave us the chance to have a chat with manager leigh. to dessert my wife chose the eton mess and on waitress ninas recommended I chose the banoffee pie with toffee sauce. we finished with a coffee to finish a fantastic Sunday dinner. the food and service was excellent and can really not expect to visit again soon. I would definitely recommend a visit as this is a great place for couples, small and large groups where they can enjoy good eating along with friendly service. many thanks to leigh and the whole team especially our waitress nina, who really took care of us and is looking forward to seeing them very soon."
"The food was delicious and our table with a view of the gardens was lovely. My only criticism is that the greeting could have been warmer as we had to wait to be noticed, even though there were staff, particularly at the bar, nearby. Overall, our dining experience was pleasant, thanks to our excellent and friendly waitress. I would definitely return. Thank you."

"We were most disappointed with the new menu found it hard to choose anything Plus it’s written on sort if grey paper with the dim lighting could hardly see it. Wanted s quiet space to eat so chose the Thirties Room It had 3 tables I had requested the one by the window but was told to sit on the other one Half way through our dinner a waiter came behind us and pushed the other two tables together and a party of about 7 with young children rocked up Goodbye to our quiet dinner !!!! My partner has to ask for the music to be turned down as we arrived as the speaker was right above our heads We left after our meagre meal I could hardly believe the size of it and the price it was ridiculous We visit Farnjngham vintage inn quite a lot The staff weren’t friendly Thank god for the lovely Claire who we only saw at the end Who’s smiling face is always the same She saved the day for us We won’t be coming back Very disappointed indeed."

"We had a wonderful meal at Ye Olde Six Bells! Since we were nearby, we wanted to sample some classic pub fare. The atmosphere was fantastic, and with the sunny weather, it was lovely to enjoy drinks outside before dinner. I recommend making a reservation, as it was fully booked on a Tuesday evening. A special shoutout to Gok—he truly works as if he’s five employees in one!"

"eating was good, but could be hotter. service was good, but there were loudspeakers everywhere and the music is too loud, it really pampered the ambiente. music should be back on the floor so that customers chat, the music was hard to talk. they had to ask them to turn it off."
"came here for a pre-Xmas menu with a few friends and this pub was very welcoming with a beautiful fire that warms the room and friendly staff to welcome us. eating with a varied menu and service was both excellent and will definitely return. could not judge this pub high enough and would recommend it to everyone."
