"Our first venture in since the new menu was introduced. A warm welcome from Brian who showed us to our table put us at our ease. He explained she that would be over to take our drinks order, and Sophie would be looking after us throughout our meal. we have a difficult time choosing from the menu as it had all our favourites. We picked the creamy mushrooms and the duck and orange pâté for our starters. I was going to have a roast, as it sounded delicious, but I was tempted away by the sharing platter of prawns, sticky chicken, lamb koftas with humus, tzatziki and flatbread. The food duly arrived, beautifully presented with pretty edible flowers. The pâté was smooth and tasty, and the toasted bread with it was delicious. The button mushrooms were in a rich creamy buttery sauce on a slice of toast. Main courses were a triumph, brought to the table by Tom, a very pleasant young man : roast sirloin of beef, a trio with beef pork and turkey accompanied by all the trimmings, and my mixed platter.Every single element was perfect from Yorkshire puddings and bacon wrapped stuffing, to the al dente broccoli, French beans, roasted parsnips carrots and potatoes, and cauliflower cheese. All irresistible and cooked to perfection, compliments to Joe, the chef. We had a breather with a coffee, then forced ourselves to choose a pudding, a tricky task as they were all so tempting, and we plumped for strawberry trifle with extra custard and raspberry sorbet I loved Sophie, she didn’t say no to anything! double chocolate brownie, and the phenomenal mango pavlova, the prettiest dessert I’d ever seen. Happily they all exceeded our expectations with their tastes and flavours. The pink and white swirled meringue in the pavlova was flavoured with a zingy fruity flavour which was a delicious surprise to me, and the best meringue I’ve ever had. Overall, we were delighted with our visit, and we’ve rebooked for next week already."

Our server, Sheila, was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly staff and really great food. Relaxed atmosphere but smart enough for celebrations and occasions. The new Honey Pot desert was not worth the high price. Sadly, we sat next to a window with a thick cobweb and dead creatures in it. Real shame, as the rest was great.

Came back on the train from Horsham and decided we didn’t want to cook,so decided to go to the Bosham Inn. Had a 50% off voucher. The food was superb!!. Two mains and two drinks £25. A return visit for my birthday, again another 50% off voucher. Another faultless meal and great service from Sophie. This place serves consistent food and will be back with another review.

the first time in the bosham inn this year. service was exemplary. I called to change the table size and was impressed by the reaction. Armed and sitting only to find sitting near a very loud man. our charming waitress sophie could not have been more helpful and immediately offered an alternative table that helps us to move there. the service we received from sophie was first class. that was delicious. the whole evening was very pleasant.

Such a lovely pub! Stopped here on our way back from Fishbourne for drinks and a bite to eat...and very glad that we did. We were acknowledged and greeted as soon as we came through the door and chose to sit outside as the weather was warm and sunny. It wasn't busy on a Monday lunchtime so finding a table was easy. Pleasant garden area, probably the only slightly negative thing is that the pub is on a main road, but everything else was just lovely. Friendly attentive staff. We ordered a couple of starters, a soft drink and a fabulous cocktail. Smoked mackerel paté and duck and orange parfait, both with sourdough toast, were duly served. The food was very nicely presented and very tasty. I ca...

"we thought they would like to know that their pub was awarded 5 stars by gastrohub. here's the review. today the fait led us to the village bosham, more precisely to the berkeley arms. not far from the harbour, this would be an ideal location to eat something after a cozy walk, to admire our green and pleasant land. the pub is a listed building, as they expect, it is blessed with the good look that can only be found in a real old English pub. but the flint walls lie to the contemporary interieur. there is also plenty of space to eat outside, and due to the short sunshine we afford, we have decided to take this option. the menu sounded good, with its usual lighter options beside the pub classics, not to mention a good crush of fresh seafood. the prices were as they should be, with average over £10. some meal times were a few more pounds, but they could see why, it was all sensible. some menus frustrate and enjoy us, but this was unfortunately not one of them. the menu may have been good, but it was the special board that took my attention. When I found out that a huh, brokkoli and stelton cake was offered, I was in love, and my heart was not to turn. the cake came with new potatoes and vegetables and cost a very reasonable £10. dad decided to make the sink, egg and chips that came in an equally reasonable £9. the food was delivered incredibly fast. this is usually a bad sign, but a look at the teller told a story with a very happy ending. it was obvious that my torte was spectacularly homemade, I mean that to the most beautiful wise. ham was a real ham of high quality and was accompanied by two eggs no less. I started with a little new kartoffel, always a good indicator for the standard of food. it was very good, and as I see it, if they can make a simple potato taste good, they can probably make the rest good. I need a moment to talk about my cake. I think it should really have a review of all his own. a real cake, surrounded on all sides by homemade pastries and filled with the most delicious filling. we have several, award-winning cakes, in our time, very few of them live up to their own hype, let me tell them, leser, this could have been the best cake I ever had, and from this reason we would ever forgive our first, a real award that really means something. the GastroHub price for best torte goes to the berkeley arms. we were both thrilled by our trip to bosham. High quality food at a good price, in a beautiful pub and served by friendly people who believe in what they do, plus a bit welcome sunshine. we always measure our experience with a simple question. would we go back? in this case the answer is an emphatic yes, and we have no problem recommending it to our beautiful readers."
