"Poor experience start to finish. Both waiters appeared to have no experience at all. On arrival restaurant was quiet with only one other table, waiter was unable to prepare alcoholic drinks, so we had to wait for another waiter, which resulted in a 40 minute wait for drinks. Once food was finally ordered, starters and main course all came at once, leaving no room on the table. The chicken tikka was cold and had to go back to the kitchen to be microwaved and the naan bread was hard. Sadly, the food was not what was expected having read other reviews. The waiters were pleasant, but not once checked that the food was ok or whether we would like more drinks. The ladies bathroom was far from clean with no toilet paper and a dirty sink. The meal was very disappointing and expensive. It was easy to see why the restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night."

"The service is based on drinks as this was a buffetbooked this restaurant for a curry as it was the only one left on valentines night. Turned up and it was a buffet which was a shock as my girlfriend is gluten free. Luckily the manager was great and confirmed that all the food was made gluten free which was great for my girlfriend as we now have another restaurant to go to"

"The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable considering the portion size and quality of the food. The dishes were perfectly seasoned and utterly delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a good curry, fish and chips, or any other type of food."

"Okay, so this is my first review. Being a student,one always tries to find places that offer good food with reasonable prices. Dosa village is one of them. Their food is delicious, with a special mention to the Gobhi Manchurian and Paneer Devil in the snacks category. Other things I tried here included, Mysore Masala Dosa, Tomato Uthhappam all of which were tasty. The service might be a little slow because they don't have much staff but the food makes up for it. And do try either the Filter coffee or Masala Chai after your meal! :"

"Ordered a delivery from just eat on the October, my meal was missing a main and a side, I phoned to let them know they forgot my items and if they could deliver them, to then be told the items were delivered and that I was lying, I was told I would not get a refund and that they did not have the time to deal with my issue. The food that did turn up was mins late and cold, avoid at all costs!"

"Why we visited Sampan Bromley? We have been looking for a restaurant to have Sunday Buffet lunch at reasonable price and with many items to taste. "It's incredible to find authentic Indian cuisine in the UK. The food isn't artificially colored or overly spiced, showing the care and attention of the owners and staff. "I have been a regular visitor to this restaurant for years now, with my most recent visit being in August 2017 with my family. We had a delicious meal with excellent service. The menu offers some unique and exotic dishes for those looking to try something other than the typical Indian cuisine. "On the day that government extended the tier 4 areas across the country, I collected dinner from Desi only to find that all the 3 employees inside Desi had no protection whatsoever. Not even bad placed mask on the chin as many people use, not a single mask at sight. Every other take away that I have used in the last week had employees with masks as mandatory for every open business. Being a restaurant with a open door on a tier 4 area I expected much more from Desi."

"Went into the shop on a Tuesday evening ordered 2 milkshakes and 2 slices of cake. Waited 20 minutes to be given it and then to get home and find the lids of the milkshakes upside down in the top ? I rang them to find out why the lids were upside down inside the milkshake and the person I spoke to said that’s how they seal properly in transport? The cake had been shoved into the box and half of it was on top of the box lid. Worst place in banbury Then said that was it and hung up."

"I always noticed the wonderful smell coming from this place when I walked by, so I finally decided to try it out over the weekend. The man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, explaining the spiciness levels of the curries and offering to adjust them to our preferences. The food we ordered was delicious, the quality was great for the price, and we didn't have to wait too long for it. I would definitely order from here again. Another great thing is that the menu offers the option to make any dish vegetarian or vegan, which is a big bonus for those who require it."

"I visited Milan Indian Cuisine with friends on Friday evening (14 July 2023), as we were staying nearby in the City, for the T20 Cricket Finals Day at Edgbaston. It was new to me, but somewhere my friends had visited before and had praise for and now I can see why! I have a nut allergy, and although my options on Indian menu’s are limited, I have to be extremely careful. I made the staff aware of this as we took to our table, and from the start they were hugely accommodating, helping me with what was nut free, they stayed with me until I had made my order. Really was exceptional! I had a starter of Grilled Salmon, which was very nice, and then a main of Lamb Rogan Josh, with Pilau Rice and a garlic naan. A dish I usually go for to be safe, it was one of the best I’ve had! Full of meat and flavour! A huge thanks, particularly to Nico, who’s service was fantastic! We shall be visiting next year for the Cricket finals!"

"Booked through open table, supposedly half price but works out to cost exactly as the 3 course offer as displayed outside. It is a small place with about half a dozen tables what I assume to be a very small kitchen that only prepare one dish at a time. The wait for everyone was unbearably long even for people who had pre-ordered for collection had to wait 40+ minutes. The poppadoms were okay but after that it was all downhill. Vegetable Biryani was made with frozen vegetables tiny pieces of green beans cauliflower, carrot sweetcorn with rice very harsh flavours like the spices hadn't been cooked out. Other curries in the group were equally hotter harsher versions of you would normally expect. And all the time we kept getting wafts of dirty toilet odour at our nearby table. Will never return"

"Having read some of the positive recent reviews I booked a table at this little restaurant for a pre concert dinner. Within a short walk of the Albert Hall it was ideally located. The food was very tasty and arrived very quickly and the service good. I would definitely return should I be in the area."
