"After being residents in the area for over two years, we finally decided to give The Star of Siam at The Highfield Hotel in East Rainton a try. We booked a table online and were seated at a charming spot near the kitchen entrance, which allowed us to observe and savor all the delectable Thai dishes being prepared. The service was top-notch and the food was simply divine. We weren't rushed to finish our meal, allowing us to unwind and converse after dining. The prices were quite reasonable and there is a lovely bar next door where you can enjoy drinks before or after your meal. They also provide takeout options. We will definitely be visiting again in the future."

"Should really update and follow your time schedule for accuracy. Suggest people to call in ahead if you can. Today (Wednesday) the info says open at got to the Cafe at the chairs hadn't even been taken off the tables. A man just walks to the door and puts a hand written sign on it, sorry today we open at without any explanation. Would have liked to support a local Cafe. "Gilbey’s Restaurant was an excellent choice for the Red Kite Board Dinner. Sandra and Dace were very good hosts and everyone on the table for 10 enjoyed a very good evening. My liver pate was very good others liked their salmon or soup. The main course of pork crackling was good, my neighbours enjoyed their lamb the steak was good. My cheese plate was slightly mean on the cheeses but my neighbours certainly enjoyed the whole meal. Please see photos. "After booking through OpenTable, I received a call to confirm my reservation. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was greeted by delightful smells and a great atmosphere. We were led to our table where we were informed about the specials and had our choice of wine and water brought to us. The staff, who were happy and friendly, went out of their way to accommodate a family group next to us who were ordering various dishes from the menu. We opted for the steak meal for two, which was cooked perfectly, and enjoyed a bottle of Rose. I highly recommend trying the Dianne Sauce with your steak. The dessert was also delicious and the attentive and cheerful staff were more than willing to cater to our every need. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant and will return next time I am in the area. Thank you for a wonderful evening."

"First time visiting here looking for something to eat family of three. The panni for six pound fifty wasnt worth it no chips or nothing the jacket tattie was dry as sticks not worth the money the dinner if you can call it that was tattie and 2 slices of pork little bit veg. The male was miserable as sin and proper ignorant if a wasnt starving a would of walked out also got charged for 2 coffees and only received one when we explained he tried to say he didn't charge us for two lies plus nibble and nosh sounds like the man needs a nosh off with a nibble of the cherry might cheer him up"

"for a super tasty and fresh, kebab or pizza made for them, right in front of their eyes, this must be the best that they in warrington (and they deliver) only clean personal and business. there are so much meat and salat in a standard kebab the lid on the box not closed when hunger, I find a standard kebab is about as much as I want to give them starving. billy, 2022. 04/06/22, welcomed papa john pizza shop, looked at the menu, 16.50 pence for a 10 inch hot spicy pizza, (too expensive) returned to Turkish to taste their pizza, for the first time wow 8.20 pence for exactly the same pizza. that was not a pizza plate, it was a firm, tasty cheese and toppings. that must be the best eating in the warrington and surroundings. why double pay for something that is unbeatable for quality, taste and value for money. "Next to us, a family group was enjoying their meals, ordering various dishes from the menu, and it was clear that nothing was too much trouble for the cheerful and accommodating staff. We decided to share the steak for two, which was cooked to perfection, and the bottle of rosé we ordered was exquisite. "8£ for a chicken teriyaki which had 5 small pieces of chicken on top and just rice rice rice.. Sushi pieces tasted refrigerated and not fresh 4.39 (eat in) for a chocolate mousse smaller than a standard yoghurt. Tables were disgusting, very sticky and with hairs stuck in.. Service is bad, some items you have to pick up yourself from the shelves , other items we have to wait at the till.. All over the place, not clean and food quality is low Expensive considering other places around, quantities served and quality.. Won 't return Blonde young lady was friendly"

"Ever felt unwelcome ? We booked a special evening to take our friends to dinner for a belated birthday dinner. Polite e mails were exchanged with the restaurant during the week prior to our visit. It was only when we arrived that we were informed that they required the table back after two hours. We should have been pre warned ,and they had had plenty of opportunity to do so during the exchange of e mails concerning the start time of our visit. Our server simply wanted us out from the moment we got there. There was an attitude almost of resentment that we were there at all. Attitude came at a price along with a delicious sea bass cooked in salt. However, we felt quite traumatised by these people. We tried to get in touch with them afterwards to avoid writing this review. However , true to form they have been less than Co operative. It was the opposite of the evening we had wanted. The chef there deserves better !"

"A girl does love a good fish chip supper every now again, it is after all a British traditional dish to have, especially on a Friday evening. Do bear in mind that this place can get really busy at times you may have to wait due to its popularity!! Having said this I'm not surprised as the food is absolutely delicious! Like Oh My Cod level, see what I did there, Lol I highly recommend you go try their fish chips. They do lots of other items from kebabs to the battered sausage, so there is quite a range of items on their menu. As well as drinks sundries. Hope you do enjoy it as much as I did!!
