"Thanks so much for a lovely meal, we visited today for my partners birthday, we was served by Emily. She was very pleasant always on hand when we needed to order something else. The food was amazing! And the atmosphere was great. There are a great team of staff who seem very happy to work there as they were all very bubbly and friendly even though the restaurant was very busy. They didn’t seem to be under any pressure. There was also another member of staff who was making a fuss of young children which I thought was very nice to see. Overall very nice F B. Defo one of my favourite locations around, service was very quick. Thank you F B."

"this review focuses on takeaway . first the online order was very easy. the restaurant is very beautifully designed. simple and modern decorations. wide and spacious. the cook in an open area where the customers can see them, a very beautiful thing in my sight. the cooking area ia clean and organized. I was greeted by one of the employees, she told me to wait a few minutes until my order is finished. the only thing I didn't like is that I saw two crates ready, but it took them about 5 to 8 minutes to tell me they were for me, and I wasn't able to talk to one of the workers to ask them because they were all busy. I ordered bufala margerita and cheese garlic bread. as far as taste is concerned, the pizza is very tasty, the teig is simply perfect and the toppings are mouthwater. the garlic bread is okay."

"I had a horrible experience with this restaurant. I ordered food from Uber Eats with a delivery time of 1:50am-2:10am, which was acceptable. However, the food arrived at 1:20am, half an hour early. When I tried to call and request a new order because of their mistake, they hung up on me multiple times and told me it was not their problem. I ended up with cold chips and a cold Parmo because they refused to send a fresh order. The service was terrible and the food was inedible. I had to eat some of it because I was starving."

"Having visited this take away whilst on business, I ordered a large pizza, was charged £11.95 plus 45p to pay with card. Whilst waiting outside for the pizza to be made, I noticed the advertised price for any large pizza was £7.99. I returned to...the cashier to ask why I was charged more than the advertised price. The manager was called to explain'. His response was, we advertise a price of £7.99 but if you do not ask for that price, we charge you £11.95. Quite astonished and expecting some form of apology along with a refund for the difference, I was met with an argumentative manager' who simply asserted it was my fault for not asking for the advertised price! I demanded a refund and sadly had to find an alternative take away (which turned out to provide a better service, product amd price). Very disappointing indeed!"

"Ordered via Just Eat and we were told our order would be 45 minutes. After 60 minutes the app said our order had been dispatched. 30 minutes later we called to be told that they were short staffed and our order had not yet gone out. Asked for a refund as we had been waiting over 90 minutes by this time. Told would be with us in 15 minutes. 25 minutes later we were given two lukewarm pizzas with burnt crusts. Plain garlic bread rather than tomato and the drink we ordered was missing all together. Phoned to complain but the phone is ringing out. Will not be using ever again."

"I must say I did enjoy the vibe of the place, unpretentious and unscripted, all while facing the green to remind you that you are still in London somewhat! Food offerings are more geared towards hearty than fine. Wine by the glass comes in one size! It' what you like no?? "Is this part of the Al Forno chain or is it a franchise? If so it does not compare to the other Al Forno restaurants. Food was ok but presentation was poor. It was empty and the tables were dirty. Considering it was not busy service is minimal, the button to call works but this takes away from the experience there is no quality check and no up-selling took place. For that reason value for money is poor although not really expensive. A few people allowed of the street to sit and smoke not sure if anything was ordered this gives it a low end feel. Not as portrayed on your website."

"I visited this chip shop and waited 25 minutes for my order. The reason being they were cooking and wrapping food for delivery guys who were coming and going. When I went in they had everything available, so there was no reason for my long wait. What annoyed me more was they took my money straight away, and because I ordered 1 regular chips, 1 large chips and a piece of cod they charged me more money. Had I said cod and chips it would have been £7.50. Instead they charged me £6.20 for the fish and £2.50 for chips (plus £3.50 for the large chips). I queried the offer but the server said I couldn't have it as I'd ordered the items individually. I became flustered. I chose this chip shop to avoid queuing; unknowing that they prioritise online orders. I won't be back."

"We ordered takeout for New Year's Eve, which also happened to be my husband's 65th birthday. I must say that we have had many delicious takeout meals from this restaurant throughout the past year. However, unfortunately, this time was a huge disappointment. The onion bhajis were decent, but not as tasty as usual. The mushroom rice was okay, but the chicken tikka korma was absolutely inedible. The sauce was watery and tasted only of milk, with chicken that did not seem to be tikka. The lamb madras was also inedible, with very fatty meat and an overpowering cumin flavor in the sauce. The roti bread was raw in the middle. Everything was cold and took 45 minutes to heat up in the oven. We only took a few bites of each dish because they were so bad. Please improve the quality of your food, Viceroy, especially on special occasions like this. We will be looking for another restaurant for our next takeout order."

"beautiful Sunday dinner for my wife and me. both the black and the lamb were great and beautifully sized. the children pasta was also delicious, with the garlic bread. also the deserts were great and everything was washed out with beautiful beer and a beautiful rose. we probably ate too much! very friendly and attentive service of the team. only at the bottom. are good if they had smaller cutlery for children."

"this place is a must when they are in alloa! we stayed on the street and the hotel recommended it, we are so glad that they. eating was fantastic and I've never seen so efficient, unhappy waiting staff. everyone was taken table and the two. the guards had it up to an absolute art form! Eat quickly came out and was an excellent standard, the best meal that we would be sure for during our trip to Scotland through a land mile if it were not so far away!"
