"My wife and I went there every day we were in Glasgow in June usually fish and chips , but sometimes other tasty items like steak pie. Food was always excellent and plentiful and the staff were so helpful and friendly .They welcomed the customers and although we had travelled miles from the tropics we certainly felt at home. It was a pleasure to go there and we tell all our friends about it."

"Unfortunately, I was not impressed, waiting for the old one to bear, they were not ready for us. that's okay, but they offer us a menu to see us or to guide us to the bar for drinks. Unfortunately, none of the above, the music was blowing, which I understand as it was a Saturday night, luton were at home and they want the party atmosphere, but at 6.40 in the evening. we called our drinks, but no wodka they had run out. we ordered drinks and drank them before our table was finished. when we were sitting, we waited for about 25 minutes for the menu, because the guy served us to eat his own chicken wings. behind the bar we asked two young girls for menus that we received nothing. the man who owns zandras came up and said the good girls, they still have ordered them. we said we wait for a menu. He said they would like to drink we have wodka now. So we ordered them, and we paid them. eating was ok, but the personal kindly did not return with our change, they took it as a drink. we will not come back and maybe others should avoid on a football weekend.i complained about the service and the owner smiled and said well that they only started tonight, unfortunately I found this hard to believe. I'm sorry."

"Hubby and me popped in here yesterday afternoon Wednesday) for a sweet snack. The shop is situated behind the statue in the square. The lady serving behind the counter was pleasantly helpful. There was only 1 small egg custard tart left £1.08) so I chose that. Hubby wanted the large Danish pastry £1.35). He was able to pay for them both £2.43) by card/contactless. The savoury pies/pasties smelled good. We ate the cakes in the park around the corner. My fresh custard tart did not have a soggy bottom and went down a treat! Hubby enjoyed his delicious Danish pastry. However, I thought they were both over-priced. Printed on the back of the bakery's paper bag was a short history of the family business which has been going for over 180 years. It said that all its products were hand-crafted and made with local ingredients so I suppose this is why their prices are dearer than the norm."

"This place is an absolute joke. I arrive at the shop at 12.05am on a Friday night as the website said they close at 2am. I turned up, the shutters were down and there were people inside the shop. I called from outside the shop and told them I'm here to order food, they said they closed at 11pm. I said their website said they close at 2am, the worker wasn't offering any explanation and kept saying they were closed. This made me incredibly angry as I drove 15 minute to this spot as it was halal and i heard it was a relatively popular franchise. The whole ordeal was absolutely shambolic, there were no clarity and it was downright frustrating. I'm not from the area but if I come back I will avoid this place at all cost. Pathetic."

"The first time we tried this restaurant, we had the best fish and chips we've had in a long time. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and the delivery service was excellent. This will now be my go-to place for fish and chips."

"We visited today and our Hooters Girl Helen's service was excellent considering she seemed to be the only one serving tables. Hooters is what it is. Is their better places to eat in Nottingham?? Yes, BUT you could say that about most restaurants. Hooters is a great restaurant with a chilled atmosphere. Great food, sport and beer. May be worth attending well in advance if you are eating there before a concert or something as they can get really busy at times. All in all a great experience. Thanks we'll be back"

"This restaurant offers an unusual fusion of Japanese and Mexican cuisine at one location. Unfortunately, the dishes are lacking in quality, using processed toppings rather than fresh ingredients which results in a lack of flavor. The ambience is also lacking, making it best to avoid this restaurant altogether."

"A fabulous experience from start to finish with some interesting and different food, starting with edible charcoal and ending with a spectacular finish with a peppermint cloud. Service and food were excellent. We came away with memories which will remain with us for a long time."

"Been here 4+ times. Food is always absolutely brilliant. I've never had much luck with the booking system here, but staff are always really helpful and have managed to fit us in on a couple of occasions when I made a mistake with the booking. Service is nice and steady and you don't feel pushed out the door despite it being a busy restaurant. Two separate kitchens here mean if you order a pizza you'll most likely recieve it before any other plates. That said the drinks menu is vast, so much choice, so if you can get here without driving it's definitely a good idea! Parking at front and back, it's always a tad tight, so maybe leave a few minutes extra to get a spot. But each visit here has been really good, as mentioned brilliant food, fantastic drinks and honestly lovely staff, and a lovely atmosphere. Menu is perhaps a tad more pricey than some pubs, but it absolutely reflects the value. This is a must visit, certainly recommend!"

"First, I want to clarify that I am not a vegan, but I was invited to dine at this restaurant. To be honest, I've never been particularly fond of vegan food, but I was so impressed by the dining experience, service, and quality here that I’m seriously reconsidering my choices. We used the app to place our order, and our food was delivered to our table almost instantly. Everything was fresh and exactly as described. I tried the oyster mushroom burger, and honestly, it was incredibly delicious. We also ordered fries to share, and a generous portion was served. The burger itself was filled and perfectly balanced. I was truly impressed. Keep up the great work, everyone!"

"Me and my Other half have visited a few times before so i thought I would Share my Thoughts. We Booked a Prepaid Three Course Meal Which was a Gift a week in advanced as it can be Difficult to get a table. We were Greeted straight away and shown to our Table, We Ordered two glasses of Wine. It was a bit of a Rocky Start as the Waitress dropped the Wine over me and my Partner, They were Very Apologetic and got everything Cleaned up Right away, for me it wasn't a too big of a Deal as Accidents Happen, they Offered that the next drink is on the house which was a very Kind Gesture Most Restraunts would still charge after a Similar ordeal I had the Classic Tomato Bruschetta, Bolognese and Tiramisu, My partner had the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Chicken and pepper Pizza and Honeycomb Cheesecake. Everything was Cooked Fresh and Tasted Fantastic Bruschetta was Excellent! I have No Complaints on the Food, It is Delicous. It is Not the Best I have Experienced but it is the Best in Boston. Both The starters and the Mains came to Our table rather Quickly which was Brilliant, The Desert took just over 20 Minutes. The Staff also had Superb service, Extremely polite, friendly and Truly Dedicated in making your Experience as Pleasant as Possible. Aside from the Slight mishap With the Wine The waitress seemed very Nervous on that Night Bless her, It was very busy She helped clean us Up after and Still kept her Professionalism! I Really do Reccomend this Restraunt to anybody, Couples, Families and friends. The Food is Marvellous, Nicely Presented and Delicous. The staff especially make it a Pleasant Experience."

"Visited this little gem for the first time 6/4/23. Very pleased with the service, lovely atmosphere and the food was fab. I ordered the gammon. It came with chips, a fried egg that was cooked perfect and a chargrilled pineapple slice. It is up there with the best gammon I’ve eaten in a long time. I would very happily return in the future."

"When I was invited to visit Kintan a small international Japanese chain , London’s first Japanese BBQ restaurant in their words , I was intrigued. London is a bit sushi obsessed and I’m glad these guys have opened up to break the monotony. The outside of this restaurant is quite plain and you would be quite oblivious to what it holds. You wouldn’t think much of the place unless you enter and you’re taken in by the huge open space that stretches out and the modern Japanese inspired decor. There’s a wide selection of seating. From conventional dining tables to booths. Our table was fitted with a built-in grill. I love the whole concept of cooking at your table. I know some people would have a different opinion “why should I cook my own food in a restaurant?!” but I think it’s a lot of fun and great for dates! ; unless you’ve never cooked in your life, in which case…NO! They have an extensive menu but it’s all split up by times of the day so you won’t be drowning in options. We went for the premium option from their dinner menu because we are fat pigs and wanted to try most of their dishes. At a price tag of £44.50 per person this isn’t cheap so save it for a special occasion if you must. But if you’re like me, then whatever- go treat yourself! :P Also be warned, make sure you come with an appetite or else you won’t be able to finish everything in this set dinner. With 6 starters, 7 mains and a dessert course- you’d definitely want to be rolled back home. While waiting for our feast to begin, we looked around. They had a NY based architect come and design their interior and it looks great. Open, spacious and a little Japanese touch here and there. We ordered our drinks and my friend ordered their special sake. He gave it a thumbs up! Very quickly, our starters starting raiding our table. First off was a town full of edamame beans with a generous sprinkle of sea salt. I love edamame beans as they are a perfect snack option too! The Kintan Salad was surprisingly delicious. I’m not a salad person but that special Kintan dressing transformed this plain salad dish into something I kept on eating. It was fresh, crunchy and the right amount of dressing to make it extra special. But I had to control myself as there were far more dishes on their way. Their service is quite efficient. Hot Oil Seared Salmon was delicate in taste but if dipped in the oil mixture became more powerful. My taste buds were having too much fun to stop! Garlic fried noodles looked great and I was having food envy by looking at them even when our food had not arrived. But sadly it had pork in it so my friend got to eat ALL of it. Sad times. They were devoured quite quickly so I suppose that’s a good sign ; I absolutely loved Tuna Tartare Volcano which was a fried block of rice topped with tuna tartare mixed with their special marinade. O.MY.GOD! Why did I order so much food?! The only criticism I have for this dish is that the rice base was too thick and it should be made thinner. Otherwise the starters are enough to fill you up. There’s no way 2 people can finish everything :P A portable table was placed next to us and it got filled with meats of all sorts, prawns and scallops! We were in meat heaven. With our grill ready and sizzling- we started cooking the marinated meat. The great thing about their grills is that they’re fitted with special parts that suck out all the smell and smoke of the grill. Otherwise sitting there would be quite unbearable! So lucky for us, we were quite content with BBQ-ing our own meat :D Their meat is sourced from UK, US and New Zealand and you can tell it was of high quality and fresh because it didn’t take long to cook. It was tender to the bite and the marinade was just perfect so we hardly used the dipping sauces. The one’s that stood out for me was the Filet Mignon- Yuzu Ponzu and the Premium Kaibi Short Rib. The scallops and prawns were okay. They did not stand out much in terms of taste. The meat dishes are clearly the heroes of this menu. There was also a selection of vegetables to BBQ which we barely touched except the mushrooms. Sorry mom! :P I also did not fancy BBQ-ing a huge piece of onion. If they were cut into smaller pieces then I might have but I had plenty of salad and edamame to fill in for my 5 a day. Khe khe khe! By this time, I was slouched in my side of the booth. Ready to give up. I could not eat another bite even though the succulent pieces of meat were beckoning me to not give up on them. Phew! That was one joy ride. We took a little breather before the dessert course and I went for a little walk around the restaurant. There is so much seating in this restaurant and they had more downstairs. There were a couple of people sitting there but it was so cold and lack of heating made me shiver. I don’t know how people could sit there in the cold and eat. I bet the BBQ helped! I came back to our dessert course sitting on the table- the assorted mochi ice cream. Mmmmhmm! they were presented elegantly and looked delicious. One thing I would commend Kintan is on the level of care they put into serving their food. While their serving plates were hot for hot food, the platter for their dessert was chilled so even if you took your sweet time in eating your dessert, it wouldn’t melt. Now that’s how I like my dessert to be served- chilled to perfection! The mochi ice cream was quite interesting and one that I’ve never eaten before. The three different flavours were encased in a round shell of jelly with different flavours and textures. Inside each was a different flavour of their ice cream- green tea, caramel and sesame seed. It was the perfect end to the meal and quite refreshing after eating all that meat :P My favourite out of the three was the sesame seed one ad least memorable one is the green tea. Green tea shouldn’t be a dessert! But before we could call it quits, we were also treated to the Kintan special ice cream. Again, super chilled bowl and a scoop of their ice cream topped with black honey and soya dust. Yummmmy!"

"It is one of the well-known international restaurants that is distinguished by its various forms of grilled chicken without grilled breast bone or with bone, a quarter or half of a chicken, as it suits your need for food or wings. We started with an order of hummus with bread, olives and chicken liver With a choice of side dishes, including fried or mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw salad, Mexican rice, or grilled corn. There are dishes with rice or sandwiches, all with grilled chicken It is preferable to book before entering"

"They proudly display this Europe-wide pizza competition prize and rightly so. Their pizza base is unbelievable, probably the best I’ve ever had and great quality toppings. Only slight negative was that they store their red wine close to the pizza oven so consequently it’s served warm, wayyyy too warm for red wine. Fair play when I mentioned this they thanked me for the observation and said they would rethink how they store their wine. Just don’t be afraid to mention it if your wine is served warm, a great restaurant like this which takes amazing care of their pizza rally should take better care of their 2nd best revenue generator, the wine. Still 5 stars from me."

"My first time here and what a treat, the wonderful staff with special thx to Hanna and her coworker for the amazing welcome. Great to discover this special vegan space, the fact that not one person was glued to a smart phone in a busy bar stood out big time to me as everyone was chilling out and conversing or busy in a productive mood, working on a laptop.. I was introduced to the gastronomic treats of the Mozzarella Sticks as a non vegan who’d given up most scary dairy they were like manner from heaven totally out of this know universe and and any other in sure .. I’ll be returning soon with a new worshiper or two at the “Blacksmith and Vegan Maker alter”"
