"I needed to get some shopping and decided to pop in to the cafe for somthing to eat as there where only a few other customers in there. To start off i waited 5 minutes at the till before deciding to look round the corner to see if i could see anyone. I found a members of staff on there phone at the back, who looked annoyed that i had interupted them. I ordeted fish and chips and a coffee. Both The coffee mechines where not working so i let the member of staff know who came to empty the coffee grounds, when she opend the door on it loads of little flies came flying out so i didnt end up drinking the coffe as that put me off. There where a lot of dirty tables that needed clearing and a few staff members but no one seemed to be doing it. The food took about 10 mins. The chips looked like they had been under a heat lamp for about 2 hours and where only sligtly warm. I asked a member of staff called Shena if i could speak to a manager she huffed in a very rude way and said why . I told her my chips where cold and she said she was a manager. She snactced the plate from the table mumble somthing under her breath a walked back into the kitchin. 10 munuits later came back out slamed it on the table and walked off without saying a word. The chip where fresh but the fish was stone cold and had obviously just been sitting on the side while the chip where cooked. I wont be going back and it put me off doing my shopping there again."

"We found the bar staff to be quite pretentious. When we arrived, we were seated in the lounge area but were completely ignored while other patrons were being served their food and drink orders. Eventually, we moved to the terrace and ordered drinks there. The waiter tried to push a £25 glass of white wine on us, but my partner sent it back and opted for a more reasonably priced £14 glass instead. The meal was quite expensive, totaling £125 for three courses, and my partner found his dish to be tasteless. He made sure to let the waiter know about this before we left."

"We celebrated a special occasion for lunch at the Ritz ,the hotel and the dining room is one of it's kind and is a visual treat, the service is second to none and has been top draw throughout;now the food 2 canape of goats cheese and foiegras were both delight to eat and very well executed the goats cheese canape best of both ;wife's starter of cured salmon again vibrant and well flavoured ;my sea bass with lemon and beans was good but I thought it could have been more exciting on texture and flavour ;my mains of lamb was the weakest dish of the menu, basil puree the stand out element on the plate ;partners halibut was outstanding;dessert of souffle and chocolate were both delight to eat;petit fours was good but lack the depth of textures and flavours; bread was the finest you can get with a well formed crust and texture it was a delight to eat; overall it was a special experience with great food and fantastic service; Will definitely return and thanks to the great team"

"This place masquerades as a fine dining venue with its decor and expensive wines but is in reality a corporate establishment rather than a restaurant run with love and passion. There is an army of staff and if you order the set menu be prepared to have your food served at high speed and the quality was highly reminiscent of wedding food- corporate- with a conveyor belt feel to it. Perhaps the a la carte experience is different. A French restaurant with a medley of European staff not one English accent anywhere the night we visited). The staff were all super polite and friendly but a more leisurely experience would have enhanced our enjoyment dramatically. Not horrible but definitely not...read more"

"Thank you Lutyens for another excellent lunch. My sister who joined me as my guest had a broken foot and the manager and staff were most accommodating in finding a box to stand it on so it was raised. The Dover sole is always very good but as a beer drinker could they stock Birra Moretti as well as Peroni as the former is much nicer and it's what the Italians drink!"

"we moved our time and number of guests in the last minute, as we arrived, we were moved to a table next to the lobe music (quite loud.) on request we were moved upwards to a big table. our waitress was excellent and gave great information about meat cuts available. eating was fantastic. the wine list was really good, and we chose a beautiful bordeaux, of which we had 2 bottles. dessert was beautiful. whole experience was beautiful. I guess it's expensive, but they need to pay for high quality food and service, so it felt like excellent worth?"

"the food was subpar. it is not as if it were in the states and directed that my favorites are very different presented. the restaurant looked old and how it could use with a refreshment. our waiter made our night and the drinks were excellent. Overall, I think it only needs to be updated and more like the other restaurants such as the malibu or South Africa for example."

"We had a nice lunch in the bar, a fairly limited menu, but what we had was very nice. Service from the young waitress was very good, and as I had advised at booking it was a birthday celebration, we were presented with a nice plate of chopped fruit and chocolate."

"Wonderful food, as usual! Had our favorite dishes: new style sashimi is great (white fish, tuna, salmon), crispy rice with spicy tuna, king crab tempura, avocado salad, baby spinach salad with crab, black cod miso, all was good and as expected. We were able to try new dishes: Black lobster tempura was great, the lobster with truffle butter and spicy lemon dressing, is one I would order again. The best new dish we tried tonight was the Chilean Sea Bass Umami which is new on their menu, and I hope they keep it as it was excellent. Unfortunately, the artichoke salad seemed to have been missing the artichoke! As for the service, we are always ordering a few items as we go and we are used to being served promptly. This time, for most of the meal, the service was slower than usual and at the end, we couldn’t order the last couple of plates we wanted because we were rushed. We had to help ourselves with the water and the wine was not served to our expectations. In addition, a waitress coughed into her hand as she was holding our wine just prior to serving us. All-in-all, we hope it was just a one off, we hope our next experience will be as good as we usually expect it."

"The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious. The service is outstanding and the staff is very welcoming. We are frequent patrons of this establishment. While the music was a bit too loud at first, it was quickly adjusted to a more enjoyable volume after we brought it to their attention."

"I've been using Natural Spice for years and years. After the last change of management or refurb, the food only got better but strangely the Poppadoms got a little soft. I didn't give on and they have nailed it Okay it's a small detail but when the food gets better and that first pompom doesn't crunch, it smarts a bit Happy to say they fixed the smallest detail. This isn't Indian. It's British Indian food with Arabic and Mediterranean flavours. I recommend that you deep dive the menu and don't be afraid to ask them to add subtract and mix ingredients for you #natspicebromance"

"Recently ordered a FULL lamb chasni which should come with both rice and naan, however only received rice. My bottle of coke was also out of date. Called up to rectify the issue and initially it sounded like they will send a naan to me, then got a call back 2 minutes later to say it doesn't come with a naan, a full is either rice or naan, I pointed out that is not what it says on the menu.. they blamed the host of the menu (Being Just Eat). I took him at his word, seemed weird, but arranged to have a free drink next order. Later I talked to a couple of people who use the take away regularly, they told me yes it should come with both, I checked a competitor to JE they use Scoffable says the exact same thing comes with both, and a physical menu I had also says the same thing. So they guy actually lied to me to save himself sending out a naan, even though he was going to send a driver back for a refund for the drink initially. Really Really sad, the food quality was actually good... it was soured by a lie to save a couple of pounds. Now word of mouth will spread with some people and they lost customers already from the 2 that spoke to me. Absolutely silly thing to do."

"This a wonderful experience except the service is absolutely terrible I cannot understand why in a super luxury hotel and a top environment that was reasonably full, one is essentially ignored by staff who mostly were standing around or talking to each other It was appalling."

"Always ordered from here, the credit Munch deals are brilliant value... however!! The last 2 times meals have been incredibly salty, and the 'starter ' foods virtually cold. Also arrived early, but this specific time we received no notification that it was being sent on the way. We were in the pub at the time, the delivery time said 10.40. The pub is a 3min walk from where we live, so we were all set to leave with coats on at 10.30, however we got a phonecall at 10.20 saying I 'm here now. We left immediately, didn 't say bye to the people we were with, explaining we had no warning and it said another 20 mins yet. 3 mins later another phone call (as we were 30/60 seconds away) literally shouting at us down the phone that we need to hurry up because he 's going to leave?? On arrival he couldn 't hand over the food quick enough then even admitted he was in the wrong. The mushroom chicken tikka tasted like it had a whole pot of salt in it, and the starters were cold. Very disappointed because we 've loved ordering from this local takeaway over the years but will no longer be using them!"

"meanwhile through a busy week, I decided to be a little bit cheeky by jumping off the work for a few hours. a quick text to my friend and a finished customer meet later, I was on the way to a lazy lunch. we heard the buzz over the recently reworked white swan at chancery lane. herr flavour and I were once regular and could not wait to see the new version. Unfortunately for him he was gone on the business and let the ladies explore in his absentness. this former irrigation hole was historically a popular hot spot of the fleet street pressebrigade before it turned into a posh pub and dining room. now again opened as pub and cophouse, the natives are already in the waiting line to come. at the entrance were the delicious aromen from the dining room to sue us up. rule number one of the lazy lunches dictates, however, that a frecher g t has to be consumed before eating in a sleepy manner. gin is something that the white **** has in full! our sophisticated bartender led us to a Hendrick ginn, served long and chilled with a gurkenband. this is the point! the new chophouse theme was certainly well received. past are the white tablecloths and wallpapers, replaced by trendy exposed bricks and deep wooden tables. this beautiful room is available for private rental and would be a great place to impress your friends or colleagues. the menu consists of pub favorites, cuts from British finest meat and fresh fish from south coast day boats and British fishing ports. if mr. flavor had been here, he would have made a beeenstock for the 45-day white park sirloin with béarnaise and large chips. we believed a little easier. the salt baked celeriac, blue monday cheese and kale salat with chestnuts was divine and flavored with a beautiful earthy seasonality. my friend ordered iron age ‘Pick and Brunch’, pickles and English senf, which came in the form of a terrine. I could not resist helping me to a greedy unhappiness. the albarinho was certainly a suitable partner for following the fishing nets. fluffy fishcake with fertile tomatenrelish were mouth-watery crunchy and bursting with terribleness. I had never ordered gurnard before and his fleshy texture was beautifully complemented with braided fennel. the big chips were absolutely crushed and let us dessert without room. as much as I enjoy a girly lunch, it is time like this when I miss my pretty man and his inexorable appetit. a quick espresso later I was moved back to the office with an earlyling in my step and a very satisfied little bit. I cannot expect to introduce my customers into this wonderful new venue, which is available for 7 days in the week."

"My girlfriend and I have only visited a couple of times however we always get such a warm welcome. The shop is very sweet with plenty of great photo opportunities for your social media. The drinks themselves are fantastic! There is an extensive menu and you can customise your toppings. We are now on a mission to try each flavour combination. A personal favorite of mine is the brown sugar milk tea with oreo (pictured right) the one on the left is taro milk tea with coconut jelly."

"Went a few weeks ago but forgot to write a review! Had a fab time for my besties birthday! Loved our food. Only down side was my friend had to ask for extra chillies as the food wasn't spicy enough for her (she likes her food extra spicy! The star of the show was definitely the Gadbad Sundae for dessert absolutely amazing! The chilli syrup with the ice creams was a stroke of genius! The food was delicious and they even gave my bestie a complimentary dessert for her birthday! The atmosphere was fun and the decor was beautiful and unique, such a great place to eat. We would definitely recommend Bombay Bustle to everyone we know. Service was good but our server did forget to bring the chillies we asked for and forgot to bring the bill after we asked so we did have to ask twice for these things but the restaurant was busy so it was understandable and didnt really have any impact on how much we enjoyed our visit. We will definitely be back!!"

"Skylon is a curate 's egg. The location with stunning wide river view is hard to beat, but you are literally paying for that. The staff are welcoming and attentive (apart from not taking coats, which are hard to accomodate at the tables . Skylon 's prices in particular on drinks are over the top for the fare on offer. Skylon is the 'brasserie ' end ' of the room, but two of us still paid £150 for 2 courses each and a £40 bottle of wine between us (one of few 'affordable ' options on the list . My halibut was delicious but inexcusably tepid it was cooked OK so must have sat around before despatch to table. Frankly if I have to spend that much to enjoy this venue I will stick to the Skylon Grill at the other end of the room in future at least there are tablecloths and comfy seats there ; (However, I was lucky not to book there this time there was a large and very noisy party taking place in the Grill . Heads up for the over 40 's the dim lighting makes a nice ambience but doesn 't work well with menus printed in grey, small font. Reading glasses and phone light recommended!"

"We have always been a fan of Honest Burger and tend to look them up when in London. However tonight’s experience was poor. Had to ask for a menu after sitting at our table for a number of minutes. The server was apologetic but you need to do better, spend less time chatting to the Deliveroo guys and focus on the Customers in the restaurant. But I’m afraid that the state of the toilets will mean we won’t be coming back. I reckon festival toilets are in better condition than the ones in Meard St. They were dirty, smelly, and in a poor state of repair we will miss the burgers but not the dining experience."

"The three of us shared 2 starters and 3 mains. The trio of starters was delicious, although one was a surprisingly bright green. The lamb strips were particularly impressive, served with a red-currant jelly and Indian spices. For those who enjoy a rich, slightly sweet curry, the lamb and apricot dish is a must-try. My sister's lamb practically melted off the bone, while my friend loved her creamy and flavorful New Delhi chicken. The naan bread was some of the best I've had, light and crispy, and the side of mushroom curry was also a hit. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant - as a self-proclaimed foodie, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. At £21 per person including drinks, it was a bargain for such a great dining experience."
