"We booked for Thanksgiving dinner here as it was a feature of their restaurant and we were here on Holiday during Thanksgiving. Booking was easy, but required a 20 pound deposit that had to be made via filling out a PDF and emailing back. It was in a cool part of the city and the decoration was irreverent, but not overstated and had a lovely family atmosphere. Waitresses were more than nice, albeit a little spread thin. O can't speak the the typical food, but the Thanksgiving menu was very much aligned with the traditional American meal. It's hard to know if it was my American tastebuds or not, but the meal seemed to be a little heavy handed in seasoning. The gravy instead of being rich and comforting was a little vinegary. The turkey was well cooked without being overcooked (still tender/juicy). Cranberry sauce was DELIGHTFUL, and the veg was average. The dessert missed the mark as the pecan pie was over-baked, but came with a little American flag, so points for style. The squash soup was my favorite with strong garlic overtones and a truffle oil finish. Can't speak to the drinks as I am unable to drink alcohol for now. Would love the opportunity to try the regular menu, and would come back just for the atmosphere."

Good atmosphere, steak was cooked very adequately. The wine however was absolutely top notch (a Californian vintage surprisingly but amazing). I would recommend, the service was nice and warm. A slightly better value considering the quality would make this 5 stars.

excellent service and eating. definitiw recommend the sourdough bread for a starter. the staff were friendly, attentive and have made tickets for the birthday skirs. if I returned, I would have steaked it as amazing. it is expensive, but they get very high quality food.

had a wonderful experience here. the steak served was of really good quality. we also had the crispy courgette and truffle frying. both were excellent. I will definitely try again the other pornstars like salt marsh lamb and fish options. the jones family project is definitiw more than a steak house.

one of the best places to have a sunday roast in london - great location, cozy atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff and incredibly tasty eating! if they go on a Sunday, it would be best to book in advance as it is a popular place and it is very busy. the menu also includes a lot of other meat dishes and desserts (if you don't want to go on Sunday or if you want something else).

one of my best meals in a long time. I had a fantastic meal with friends here. the atmosphere was really cuddly and the restaurant was nice on the inside (some fab artwork). my steak was amazing how my friends was vegetarian option! I think I have to go back, just for the mac and I'm gonna be happy. I would really recommend this as a nice dinner with friends and a great evening around!

Tender chateaubriand steak. A bit undercooked (Ordered Medium-rare but it was actually more like rare) but still delicious! Twice cooked chips and English salads on sides are the perfect match with steak. Starters were not as good as steak. Smoked mackerel (starter) was juicy, soft but a bit too salty. Steak tartare had some Asian chilli sauce in, which was quite weird. Very stylish, good atmosphere for couples or friends.

my favourite secret for a sunday in london. perfectly cooked bark in the Josper grill with all trims including sweet and a delicious yorkshire pudding. the whole meat is delivered by the ginger pig metzgern and the bark comes from the rare breed longhorn cattle grown in yorkshire and dry aged for at least 28 days. fantastic value at £9.95 for a cure, £14.50 for two or £17.50 for three. they can also cook various cuts of bark meat, lamb, huh or a slowly boiled ochre tail burger in josper charcoal of. restaurant is down, but they can also eat in the bar in the ground floor where they also have pop ups and great cocktails.

A 5 minute walk from Old Street Tube station, this place is easy to miss. No big lights or imposing signs trying to attract your attention but instead signage and a front of house that simply blends in unassumingly with the surrounding area. Nice bar upstairs with plenty of seating and a relaxed and comfortable feel. The restaurant is downstairs and it has a wonderful homely feel to it. The staff are knowledge about both the food and drinks menu. We arrived late (we called to let them know) and even though there was a booking following us, they accommodated us and the food was promptly served and of course... tasty. I'm giving this place 3 stars as we only had mains (our fault for being late...
