A delightful combination of tender grilled steak and succulent seafood, perfectly seasoned and served with a choice of sides.

"We booked for Thanksgiving dinner here as it was a feature of their restaurant and we were here on Holiday during Thanksgiving. Booking was easy, but required a 20 pound deposit that had to be made via filling out a PDF and emailing back. It was in a cool part of the city and the decoration was irreverent, but not overstated and had a lovely family atmosphere. Waitresses were more than nice, albeit a little spread thin. O can't speak the the typical food, but the Thanksgiving menu was very much aligned with the traditional American meal. It's hard to know if it was my American tastebuds or not, but the meal seemed to be a little heavy handed in seasoning. The gravy instead of being rich and comforting was a little vinegary. The turkey was well cooked without being overcooked (still tender/juicy). Cranberry sauce was DELIGHTFUL, and the veg was average. The dessert missed the mark as the pecan pie was over-baked, but came with a little American flag, so points for style. The squash soup was my favorite with strong garlic overtones and a truffle oil finish. Can't speak to the drinks as I am unable to drink alcohol for now. Would love the opportunity to try the regular menu, and would come back just for the atmosphere."

"This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I ordered a medium-rare steak, but it arrived almost completely raw. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he insisted that I was mistaken and that this was how medium-rare was typically served. He eventually agreed to provide me with a new medium-rare steak, but it turned out to be even more raw than the first one. It was practically bleeding, which is definitely not what you would expect from a properly cooked medium-rare steak. To top it off, the manager was quite rude. I noticed that he was wearing his mask improperly, hanging below his mouth, and none of the staff seemed to be washing their hands. Additionally, the table was sticky. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience."

"On Open Table we picked a waterfront view restaurant for 7:30pm. When we arrived, the restaurant name was not clearly marked and we found out it was a Hooka Lounge, not the restaurant it was made out to be in Open Table. They directed us to the inside restaurant where the owner or manager greeted us rudely and told us we should know what restaurant we were booking and that he had a full house coming in at 8:00 pm (1/2 the restaurant was empty or tables were getting up). We were very upset as it was late and we were now far from all other places to eat so we sat by the bar. He finally conceeded to sit us at a regular table. We ordered drinks and the waitress came back to tell us they couldn 't make those drinks. We ordered a 2nd set of drinks and the same thing happened. I then just ordered a glass of wine. Restaurant was so dark, we could barely read the menu. Food was good but they wanted to bring out apps and food all at once after we told them we wanted oysters first with drinks. I would not recommend nor go back"

"We enjoyed the pre-theater menu with the kids, and the children's menu was excellent. The service was outstanding, and the pre-theater menu included a lovely glass of Prosecco, which I typically don't enjoy, but this one was quite nice, especially thanks to my ticket booking offer. I had some delicious wings and a fantastic steak, while the kids opted for burgers. Everything was great, and we left very happy!"

"You will have heard of this place and rave reviews from some friends. So you already have an inflated expectation and it will poke your food related conscience if you don't try it. So do. Depending on your tastes and likings, chances are that you will realise that its very ordinary. Mostly overcrowded......but less than great food! I know the two don't normally go together. But that's the magic of marketing! Our pizza was a bit doughy and undercooked. Burger was dry. The pasta that someone ordered however was very good. So I cannot possibly rave about the food overall. Especially for the final price (after service charges) that we paid! But if you are after a noisy outing and drinks with...read more"

"The food and prices are really good, the only problem was that it took too long to come and we ended our food free. Cocktails were delicious. The food was so filled that we could hardly move. If you get a main with several types of meat, you might not even need a page. It lacks spices, but it fixes a salt scatter. Had it with garlic butter, which also lacked taste, but salt also fixed it. We had chicken wings for beginners and they were terrible. They should be spicy, but there were no spices and they greased the sour cream made them worse. It was bad. But the main thing for this"

"never before and heard many good comments. a table for our jubile meal. first disappointment was the professional printed card of the managing director who explains why there is now an additional premium on the menu price for certain steaks. we thought to be extremely dishonest as there is no mention of it on the website. we ordered our drinks and approx. 5 minutes later we ordered our meals only to say there were no fish or garnel. our starters came approx. 10 minutes later (no sign of drinks.) we ended our starters who were not brilliant and the plates were deleted. Finally our drinks arrived just before our net. the steak was in order, but we had better. I think that eating is very expensive, which creates a high expectation and this has not been fulfilled. the service was slow and safe not guarantee a service fee on the bill. Unfortunately, this is the first and only time we will visit a middletons steakhouse."

"At 16:45 on a Saturday afternoon, I had telephoned ahead a few minutes earlier to check they had a table available. The friendly lady had advised we would need to vacate in two hours, which was more than enough time for our pre cinema dinner with our show starting in an hour.We were warmly greeted and shown to our table and left to read over the menu. Drinks orders were taken a few minutes later by which time we’d also decided on our food choices. We both ordered Oreo shakes and burgers, one with French fries and the other with triple cooked chips, and both done medium/well. The Oreo shakes were presented in lovely tall sundae glasses with wide paper straws. Not my usual drink of choice with a burger but a welcome indulgence and yummy distraction whilst we waited a bit longer than expected for our food. The burgers came well done and were divine, being tender, succulent, wonderful quality meat and superbly tasty. They were clearly home made and freshly prepared with care and more than worth the wait. We were asked if we’d like sauces and my daughter chose mayo and was presented with a small dipping dish for her fries and a squeezy pot for her burger I thought this shows care and thoughtful attention to detail. Portions are very generous and we were both satiated. The bill was presented without an assumed service charge, and left for me to determine the tip, which I always appreciate."

"It was nice but nothing more. The food reasonable but not good value. We were a party of two and one of the mains came up with a long black hair on it and instead of removing all the food whilst a replacement was being cooked, my main and the sides were left on the table for the 10-15 minutes it took to replace so was cold. The server did all he could but the manager was nowhere to be seen. Two happy hour drinks were removed from the bill as a gesture. You can eat at much better places in London for less."

"Selected low scores and the actual reason is that despite travelling for hours, paying to stay in a top notch London hotel and expecting to be able to dine at the restaurant I had booked weeks before, we were turned away at the door because Lurch the doorman' who looked like he was itching to break out his yellow belt in Judo, decided to be a jobs-worth about ID. My girlfriend is 23, so we are not talking about a situation with someone being close to 18 or even looking 18. But because they decided she looked under 25' (if you're aged 23 but look 28 you'd probably be ok) they refused to budge. Incidentally, my girlfriend happened to have a photo of her ID, but they wouldn't accept that. They insisted it needed to be the physical ID. Rude and obnoxious doorman and management unwilling to use their discretion."

"I met a few friends for lunch today whom I hadn't seen in ages. As soon as we walked through the door, we were warmly greeted by the staff. They gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. I ordered the brisket with colby chips and gravy, and it was delicious— the brisket just melted in my mouth, and the chips were fantastic. We ended up sitting there for almost three hours. It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting."

"Very nice place to visit, the food was amazing, the same for the service we got. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food we got and the drinks which was nice. The peppercorn sauce was definitely worth every penny, definitely going to come again."

"It was another lovely evening at the restaurant, and the service was excellent. The tall blonde waitress with glasses informed us that some items on the menu were no longer available. She also mentioned that the table reservation was only for 90 minutes, which was not communicated online or in the email confirmation. Despite these minor issues, we were overall pleased with our experience and look forward to returning."

"I was surprised to receive a text while en route to the restaurant stating that my table, reserved for 6:30 PM, would be needed again at 8 PM. Having to finish an expensive meal in just an hour and a half is quite disappointing! Fortunately, the restaurant was quiet on Wednesday evening, with only five tables occupied. However, given these conditions, we won't be returning. When I made the reservation, there was no indication of any time limit on our table."

"The General Manager was very accommodating and took the initiative when it took us 30 minutes to be served our drinks. Unfortunately, the waiter seemed focused on only a few tables and didn't take our order in a timely manner. The food was decent; I wanted steak but it was out (which I understand given the lockdown the next day). Overall, the venue had a nice atmosphere and vibe."

"The staff at this restaurant were amazing, from the lady to the two gentlemen who served us. They went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic time. The drinks and food were both outstanding and priced reasonably. The bartender even created a delicious rum cocktail for me. The service was exceptional, with the lady being especially attentive. Overall, I would give the service a flawless 10/10. Thank you to the staff for providing us with a delightful dining experience!"

"I can't rate this restaurant enough! both our appetizers and the main course were so delicious, “tempura prawns” and “klebrige bbq ribs” followed by filet steak with a series of sides. if they want to last a whole decades, I recommend the “Mash Gravy”. steaks were cooked for perfection! their home cocktails are stunning! if they have a sweet cocktail on the "cherry cooler" quite and very moorish. we will come back to the final when we are in edinburgh. excellent and competitive prices. many thanks to the chef and the whole staff, we enjoyed our first visit and cannot wait to come back!"

"Mother’s Day lunch and we were not told there was a set menu. So a fish restaurant only has a choice of roasts for main course, all served with cabbage, leek, roast potatoes, carrots and Yorkshire pudding. None of which,I think partnered well with cod or confit duck or salmon. So dry chicken or vegetarian roast anyone? I think everything was pre cooked and reheated (not very well). Service was fine and we were asked after eating if everything was OK and will admit said OK as my mother hates a ‘fuss’ and it was not worth upsetting her by complaining or sending dishes back. They mentioned how busy they were and I wonder if by a short term gain of overcharging for poor quality food on a special occasion they won’t loose custom in the long run as we certainly won’t return, it’s a shame as we are always looking for good local restaurants. Also the restaurant looks nothing like the photos on their website which has white tablecloths and comfy looking chairs, the reality was bare tables with plastic table mats that had the drinks menu printed on them and hard upright wooden chairs. The wine prices were approx £3 more in the restaurant than shown on the website. Wi"

"No customers in there apart from us, no atmosphere very sad place, torn carpet on entrance, uncomfortable chairs and out of stock of Diet Coke and onion rings. Food was cold and took forever to get a drink. Expensive, and opened late at 12 noon-every other eatery locally open all day. I’m surprised they can stay in business. My party of people didn’t enjoy the experience and nor did I. I felt sorry for the waitress as she was wondering why we chose her restaurant. The owner should be chained to the restaurant seating area and made to eat there"

"That was one of the worse meals we've ever had. Certainly would not return even if the food was free. We ordered oysters, Cullen Skinksuppe, mussels for starters and Sirloin Steak and the Scottish Surf and Turf for our net. The oysters were tiny, two of them had quite much broken shell in them, they were accompanied by a bottle of Tabasco and small plate of Vinaiigrette Salat Dressing not a nice dish of Torots in Weinessig as expected. The starters were perfect, some butter with the role for soup would have been nice as it was very dry and the soup was not traditional cullen skink as I said. Mussels were quite large, so a more positive but there was not much taste in the broth except coconut. Steak! Awful, just terrible, just the thought that it turns our stomachs. Bad quality, crispy, overboiled and was cold, as the sweet potato chips served. The feta cheese was with dry herbs, which was well exaggerated and unpleasant to eat. Surfing and lawn! Not one thing on this plate that was mutually complicated, and no wort of any kind had been used. It was literally a piece of Halibut, something covered in the worst tasting of Jus I've ever eaten, 3 tiny points of orange and a blow of something else. Oh and I should not forget that a vinegar tasting piece Rhabarb served in a dirty scallop shell. Save your money and eat somewhere else."
