"my favourite secret for a sunday in london. perfectly cooked bark in the Josper grill with all trims including sweet and a delicious yorkshire pudding. the whole meat is delivered by the ginger pig metzgern and the bark comes from the rare breed longhorn cattle grown in yorkshire and dry aged for at least 28 days. fantastic value at £9.95 for a cure, £14.50 for two or £17.50 for three. they can also cook various cuts of bark meat, lamb, huh or a slowly boiled ochre tail burger in josper charcoal of. restaurant is down, but they can also eat in the bar in the ground floor where they also have pop ups and great cocktails."

"This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I ordered a medium-rare steak, but it arrived almost completely raw. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he insisted that I was mistaken and that this was how medium-rare was typically served. He eventually agreed to provide me with a new medium-rare steak, but it turned out to be even more raw than the first one. It was practically bleeding, which is definitely not what you would expect from a properly cooked medium-rare steak. To top it off, the manager was quite rude. I noticed that he was wearing his mask improperly, hanging below his mouth, and none of the staff seemed to be washing their hands. Additionally, the table was sticky. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience."

"On Open Table we picked a waterfront view restaurant for 7:30pm. When we arrived, the restaurant name was not clearly marked and we found out it was a Hooka Lounge, not the restaurant it was made out to be in Open Table. They directed us to the inside restaurant where the owner or manager greeted us rudely and told us we should know what restaurant we were booking and that he had a full house coming in at 8:00 pm (1/2 the restaurant was empty or tables were getting up). We were very upset as it was late and we were now far from all other places to eat so we sat by the bar. He finally conceeded to sit us at a regular table. We ordered drinks and the waitress came back to tell us they couldn 't make those drinks. We ordered a 2nd set of drinks and the same thing happened. I then just ordered a glass of wine. Restaurant was so dark, we could barely read the menu. Food was good but they wanted to bring out apps and food all at once after we told them we wanted oysters first with drinks. I would not recommend nor go back"

"We enjoyed the pre-theater menu with the kids, and the children's menu was excellent. The service was outstanding, and the pre-theater menu included a lovely glass of Prosecco, which I typically don't enjoy, but this one was quite nice, especially thanks to my ticket booking offer. I had some delicious wings and a fantastic steak, while the kids opted for burgers. Everything was great, and we left very happy!"

"We booked Planet Hollywood 4 weeks in advance and were really looking forward to it as we had been before and we loved the atmosphereWhen we got there we were shown to one of two tables situated under the stairs so the only view we had was people walking up and down the stairs. There was just no atmosphere it was as though we were in the restaurant on our own. We asked to move but were told we would have to go in the queue to wait for a table so we stayed at that table.The food was average and overpriced for what we gotI don't think we'll be going again."

"absolutely amazing. we sat down on a busy Saturday night, which is expected to be booked, the beautiful lady who welcomed us aimfully made a table for us so that we could feed. drinks were ordered and arrived very quickly from a very happy helpful waitress. the food ordered next door and since it was busy, we didn't expect wrong again. the beginnings came in good time and were pilted hot, the calamari was boiled to perfection and nave muscles were perfect. the best middleton grill is an absolute must, it was the best steak I ever had. the chicken was moist and very tasty and the ribs from this world. I can't eat middletons to all the staff friendly and amazing that even better. an absolute gem in watford. x"

"I popped into Leo's Kitchen with my mum. We've been there happily many times before. This time the food was mediocre and the service not good. There were only ever 4 tables occupied but they were doing a roaring trade in takeaways which seemed to take priority. We waited an eternity for everything and they forgot our water and cutlery. The water jug was not very clean which I mentioned as we were paying (though not all the other gripes). The waitress told us if it was that bad then don't come back again! I can't tell you how fast our cash tip went from the table into my handbag. I am more than happy never to darken their unwelcoming door again and to positively not recommend them going forward."

"We have been seated at the coldest table next to the Window , close to the kitchen. It was my mums birthday and we did make staff aware of it. Nobody have done check back when we had our starters which were not the greatest....We have waited for mains over an hour, nobody gave us cutlery after we had our starters , we were have to request. When we did that , the girl with dark blonde hair rolled her eyes on us. My mums majito was most of it ice , she couldn’t drink it , we asked for another one instead with no ice and in a smaller glass. The manager ignored our request and bought a drink to the table in the same long glass with full of soda that my mum couldn’t taste alcohol. The noice level was way to high the chefs were shouting and constantly complaining that none of the staff taking food. The entire our service was spoiled. Additionally, nobody asked us if we have any allergies. My brother had a burger with a spicy mustard which is not specified in a menu, myself I am allergic to spicy. Theoretically I could of been the one who tried the burger to check if child’s food is warm. They lucky that I didn’t. over , neither the waitress or the manager haven’t introduced themselves to us and it makes sense now. Overall , we wouldn’t recommend the place. Too pricy for a horrible service."

"I love coming to The Jones Family Kitchen, it’s one of my favourites restaurants in London. They have a menu with good variety of food, but the steaks are the reason I always return! Everything is so tasty, their have a good atmosphere, the restaurant is cozy and beautiful, staff are friendly, and food never disappoints me! I extremely recommend this place as much as I would like to keep it secret to just myself! :"

"Steak was seriously impressive. There were some oddities in the service though. I thought it was the kind of place that you wouldn’t usually go to unless someone else is paying. A lot of thought has gone in to the presentation of the food. It’s inside the Hippodrome casino so perhaps the customers want flashy, over the top presentation. The restaurant delivers that with beautiful bowls and dishes that come frothing with with dry ice. The Ocean Plate was nice but came with the wrong kind of soy sauce IMHO. Sushi is usually paired with a much lighter soy sauce. I had the 350g ribeye and it was some of the best steak I have ever had. Chimichurri sauce was nice. There are many steak options on the menu but most of them were unavailable (supply chain issues? . The side of chips and the side of carrots and peas were slightly dry. For dessert I went for the Mango Baked Alaska. It turned out to be a somewhat deconstructed variant that looked like something that had been run over by a motorbike, smoke still streaming from the box it was served on. The restaurant occupies three or so steppes overlooking a gaming floor. The spaces are narrow and loud and chaotic. Staff did a great job considering the environment but this is not somewhere you would want to go for a romantic evening. The service is oddly rigid as well. We had made two separate sets of bookings and it would have made sense to combine them into one booking but this didn’t happen. At least we got both groups sitting in the same area. You also aren’t allowed to order starters for your group and then decide on mains later. All food must be ordered at once by the whole group (they made an exception for one member of our group who was arriving later . There was no particular explanation given for this. The restaurant did not seem understaffed; there was an army of waiting staff on hand to deliver food and open bottles of wine."

"I met a few friends for lunch today whom I hadn't seen in ages. As soon as we walked through the door, we were warmly greeted by the staff. They gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. I ordered the brisket with colby chips and gravy, and it was delicious— the brisket just melted in my mouth, and the chips were fantastic. We ended up sitting there for almost three hours. It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting."

She also mentioned that the table reservation was only for 90 minutes, which was not communicated online or in the email confirmation. However, given these conditions, we won't be returning. When I made the reservation, there was no indication of any time limit on our table."

"The General Manager was very accommodating and took the initiative when it took us 30 minutes to be served our drinks. "The staff at this restaurant were amazing, from the lady to the two gentlemen who served us. They went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic time. The drinks and food were both outstanding and priced reasonably. The bartender even created a delicious rum cocktail for me. The service was exceptional, with the lady being especially attentive. "I've been wanting to try Chop House since I first noticed it during one of my early morning runs down to the shore. Thankfully after many more runs passing the restaurant I finally made it there for dinner! We went for a 6pm reservation (that I booked a month in advance so definitely book! and were seated at a cost table in the corner. I was a bit surprised to see how small the dining area actually was which explains why they are always booked up! I'm not sure if it's the design of the restaurant at fault or we were just in on a really noisy night but it was quite loud. So maybe not the best for a cosy romantic date if that's the regular noise level. The menu is pretty concise focusing on their steak offerings but I did note a few other mains if steak isn't your thing. We went for some pre dinner cocktails- I had the sweet street swizzle which was super tasty and I'd recommend it! For starters we shared prawn tempura and seared scallops, I liked that you could order these in numbers so you didn't get full from a big starter before your meal. We also had the granary bread with bone marrow butter that was really tasty and fresh. The prawns and scallops were also really good with the scallops being seared in a really tasty garlic butter. For mains I had the sirloin steak and my boyfriend had the rib eye. We shared a side of macaroni cheese, grilled asparagus, and mashed potatoes with gravy. The steaks were cooked really well and my spicy chimmichurri sauce worked really perfectly with it although my boyfriends blue cheese sauce was also seriously good. The macaroni cheese was super cheesy and thankfully not soggy which I hate. The mash and asparagus were both really nice but I may try different sides next time. For pudding I squeezed in a scoop of marshmallow ice cream that was good but I probably should have gone for the salted caramel.... Overall though I was really impressed with Chop House. The food was fresh, well cooked, and made a really enjoyable meal. A star off for the super loud atmosphere and also wrong charges on our bill which I had to ask the waitress to correct. That aside this place was worth the wait and the money! Looking forward to going back already!"

"What ever you do don't go to this restaurant. I booked a table at 7 pm on Saturday 2nd off April for my wife's birthday as soon as we got there the staff told us they didn't have half the menu. I said can I still have a surf and turf they said they didn't have lobster but we can have a prawn on top off steak for same price as lobster. I told them that your menu on Internet says it comes with lobster the staff said that was old menu and shouldn't be on there .we walked out and went 2 doors along to a tai restaurant had brilliant meal so what ever u do don't book for a meal here manager should be sacked very rude"

"This restaurant was truly exceptional! Despite being very busy, we were able to secure a late reservation. The food was absolutely incredible, with a wide variety of options that made it hard to choose. We enjoyed a seafood platter, goatcheese mousse, ham hough, and oysters. For mains, we indulged in surf and turf (halibut and pigeon), ribeye steak, and delicious sides. We even took home some desserts that were heavenly. The staff truly made the experience even more memorable, with Elise and Nicki providing excellent service and knowledge about the menu, and bartender Sharice making a perfect after-dinner cocktail. It's definitely worth the price and time if you have the opportunity. Overall, a fantastic dining experience."
