"The ambiance at this restaurant is pleasing. However, we noticed that our orders were taken after another couple that arrived after us, so the service could be more attentive. The breakfast we had was delicious. While the menu didn't mention an option for turkey speck, they were willing to add it to our order or replace it with something else when we asked. They also offer soy milk as an alternative option. One negative aspect to note is the restroom, which definitely needs improvement. There was black mold on the walls, the room was very cold, and we even saw a cockroach scurrying across the floor, with the kitchen located right next to it."

"we have booked the spaghetti tree for my mother in the law birthday, a booking of 7. it was disappointed that despite the arrival before 7 there was not a parking space, my grandmother is disabled and used a walker that personal watched us help out the car, but offered no support or try to find a disabled parking, so I had to unload to drive to sainsburys and park there and the night of the same. the staff, the cocktails and the appetizers were perfect, and I heard my other companions say how beautiful their food was. however my spaghetti carbonara was unfortunately like a large bowl pasta in cream. I have ordered this here and it was much more beautiful and more like a traditional carbonara. desserts were also beautiful."

"Myself and my girlfriend were staying in Mallaig and arrived late and were turned away from another rest as it was 20:00 we saw the lights on up at the Terrace so thought we would try it out. upon arrival I could tell that we were just in time to make the cut off. The head waiter said they could accommodate and we were shown to our seats. The place was very nice, elegantly set up with great music selection. The staff were very attentive and friendly and were very helpful in choosing the right dish for pregnant GF. Julie was absolutely lovely and explained it was their first night opening again after a devastating arson attack shut them down. The food was very good, I had Cullen skink to start which was lovely as was the bread it was served with. My GF had deconstructed chicken cesar salad which was also lovely and an interesting interpretation of the dish. We both had braised beef with sautéed sprouts and truffle mash which was very nice. We also had a complimentary glass of Prosecco and a passion fruit sorbet as a pallet cleanser. Overall we loved our experience and the chef even popped out to make sure we were happy, he is clearly very capable and long may it continue! All the best guys, you deserve good fortune!"

"I visited this restaurant with friends for the first time in a couple of years on a Wednesday evening. The staff were friendly and the newly refurbished soft furnishings blended in nicely. We took advantage of the 3 courses for £10 offer, which we found to be incredibly good value. The portions were generous and the quality of the food was impressive. It's hard to believe they can maintain this offer at such a low price! The only issue we had was with the background music, which we found to be intrusive and tinny, not matching the cozy atmosphere of the old inn."
