"It was our first family visit at the restaurant chain and we loved it. The atmosphere at this branch is lovely, with a very calm and well designed look. The team were all lovely and service was great! We just wanted to highlight Davari and Ash who were with us throughout our experience at the restaurant and helped us within the time we were there, assisting with little requests and all with a great smile. "I went to wagamama yesterday with my two daughters and had a pretty unpleasant experience. the food was good, but my daughter found a stone in her ram. fortunately, she threw it out when she bite or swallowed it could have been quite dangerous. she reported it to the waiter at the end of our meal, which showed some straight to empathy, and said he will show it to the manager. but after talking to another employee he returned with a card machine, took our payment without comment on the stone. When I look back, I feel like I had fixed and/or asked to see the manager. overall this situation was made too easy and we felt quite ignored by the personal. it would have been nice to be recognized for a mistake that was the disorder of the restaurant."

"When we arrived at the restaurant, I dropped off my friends and went to park my car. Upon my return, I learned that they had been informed that we couldn't be accommodated because the restaurant was shutting down permanently at the end of the night, and there were limited food options available. I was quite frustrated! We decided to leave and went to another nearby restaurant instead. The next day, since I couldn't use my vouchers, I applied for a refund. I only received back 50% of their value, and I have since appealed this decision, as I was unable to use them at the time I had booked due to circumstances beyond my control. While I know there are other Chiquito locations, none are close to us. I have dined at Chiquito in Croydon numerous times and have taken friends and family there, but I was very disappointed by how the closure was handled. Had I been given notice about their impending closure, I would have certainly made arrangements to visit one of their other locations."

This was particularly disappointing, as the restaurant wasn't crowded at the time. As the others rushed to get the movie tickets, I ended up paying the bill, which took an additional 10 minutes to process. This made me late for the film, which was frustrating and detracted from the overall experience. On a positive note, the manager kindly removed the second pitcher from our bill without mentioning it, which was a nice gesture since we hadn’t consumed much of it. I don’t want to come off as overly critical of the staff, as they were all very friendly and accommodating. Perhaps just a bit more efficiency could enhance the experience?"

"When we arrived, the staff could not find our reservation. Luckily, the restaurant was not busy and the manager quickly seated our party of 7. Our waitress was friendly but seemed to be missing during our meal. We had to ask other staff for extra drinks and food. The food was excellent, but we noticed that the portion sizes are getting smaller. It can be quite pricey, but with a discount coupon, it becomes more affordable. The atmosphere was lacking on this visit. Unfortunately, hearing about the financial troubles of the restaurant chain seems to have affected the morale of the staff. It's a shame because we enjoy the food and would be willing to pay the high prices if the service was consistently good."

"Burger King are really excelling in the vegan fast food space atm! They've committed to going 50% plant-based by 2030 and turning their flagship store vegan for a month is a clear sign they mean business. The store is fully vegan with an extensive menu including a selection of whoppers, chicken burgers (created by The Vegetarian Butcher and sides including chilli cheese bites and onion rings. I've already tried Burger King's Vegan Royale and Vegan Nuggets (currently available at all their stores) and they're both very impressive, so I was very excited to come to the first all vegan branch! I went with my girlfriend and we got the Vegan Katsu Royale, Plant-based Bakon Double Cheeeze XL, Vegan Chilli Cheeeze bites, Plant-based Onion Rings and Vegan Fries. Firstly, the Katsu Royale was really good even better than I expected, and stole the show for me. The chicken' patty was really tasty and it had crispy onions which added a lovely crunch. The Bakon Double Cheeeze XL was also tasty, but had no sauce so was a bit on the dry side. I added bbq sauce to it which made it a lot juicier and tastier. The Cheeeze bites were also really good the cheese was lovely and melty. I'm not good with spice so the chilli was a bit much for me but my girlfriend said the bites were her favourite part of our meal! The fries and onion rings were also tasty and a great side to the meal. All in all very tasty and I'd definitely recommend coming down here before it closes on the 10th April and reverts back to a regular Burger King! Also, as an extra note for Burger King branches generally, I'd recommend downloading the app as it has LOADS of great discount offers for their vegan food. For example you can get a Vegan Royale for £1.99 every Monday (instead of £4.99 and recently there was even a voucher for a free Vegan Royale without even a purchase! Definitely worth downloading!"

"We ordered street food which came at different times which would of been good to know. Most of the food arrived but we was waiting for 15 20 minutes where we was then asked what we was waiting for this should of been something the waitress knew. We were told there was a problem in the kitchen and therefore would take another 20 30mins which isn’t acceptable when you’ve been in the restaurant for 1hour 15mins. We were impressed by how quickly our food arrived when we mentioned we were very hungry. However, the dessert we ordered, the Mexican mezcal, was described to have celestial nectar and earthberry yogurt, but these elements were missing from the dessert we received. It also should have been served in a cinnamon tortilla basket, but there was no cinnamon present. The waitress apologized for this and removed the dessert from our bill. It was strange that the kitchen left so much out of one dish, perhaps due to a new cook. However, the waitstaff was pleasant and accommodating. Overall, the dining experience was fantastic for the price."

"Our experience at this Chiquitos location was terrible, despite having visited many others before. We booked a table as part of a birthday trip to Wembley, expecting a great meal as usual. However, we were left waiting nearly 10 minutes for drinks and a further 10 before our food order was taken. The cocktails were nice, but the food was disappointing. My husband's burger was burnt, and when we pointed it out, the waitress agreed and exchanged it for a plain beef burger with limited salad. My chicken dish was dry and burnt on the edges, and the fries were a mix of undercooked and dry. Despite alerting the staff, we only received a partial refund for my husband's order and no compensation for mine. We also witnessed concerning behavior from two male managers, with one physically grabbing a waitress and ordering her to do something. The atmosphere was tense and unwelcoming, with staff appearing uncomfortable and unenthusiastic. Service was slow, and even after finishing our meal, we waited 10 minutes for our plates to be cleared despite there being few other diners. To top it off, our bill was incorrect. Overall, a very disappointing experience and we would not recommend this particular Chiquitos branch."

"As soon as I walked in, I liked the aesthetic of the restaurant. I sat down and ordered my food with my amigos. I had the pulled brisket nachos and was surprised at the portion size, it wasn’t a small starter like most restaurants but...large, delicious and clearly fresh. I also had the Mexican lasagna which I never heard of before but it was amazing and I couldn’t finish it as it was so filling. I also had a cocktail which was good and a slush which was good too. The staff were friendly, polite and would check if we needed anything often. Overall a great experience and I would come again"
