"My husband and I were given a Le Monde Luxury Afternoon Tea voucher as a gift so I booked a table for the afternoon of the day that suited us. The sandwiches, cakes, scones etc were nice enough but the service that we received was terrible. On arriving the waiter asked if he could get us a glass of Prosecco and when I said that it stated on the voucher that it was to be Champagne he said that he would go and check taking the voucher with him. He came back and we were given our two glasses of Champagne. Later we were served our cups of tea, coffee etc. At no point were we asked if everything was ok. The restaurant was not busy as there were only another two tables occupied. We have had afternoon tea many times before in various hotels and restaurants including The Dome next door and have always been asked if we would like more tea or coffee and it does state on Le Monde’s website that Afternoon Tea is served with plentiful tea or coffee. As we had only been served one cup at the start I asked the waiter when he came back to clear the table if we could have another coffee and tea. He came back with the coffee and a glass cup of tea (no saucer) with a teabag hanging over the side of the cup and milk not in a jug but in a small tumbler. Not what you expect to get with afternoon tea and certainly not a luxury afternoon tea!It was very disappointing considering the giver of the present wanted us to have a really nice time. Although we have enjoyed several visits to Le Monde in the past which we have enjoyed we will not be returning. I was there in December with a friend and again the service left a lot to be desired and we were also overcharged but we managed to get that rectified."

"This restaurant is amazing! I always love the katsu curry every time I go there. The food is delicious with great taste and fresh sushi. I highly recommend this place for those looking to eat locally. They even provide flavor boosters for those who like their food spicy."

"Visited for lunch last week, and was again really impressed by the choice, food quality, and friendly welcome. Ordered pumpkin korokke and takoyaki to start, both very tasty and a good size portion. then sushi for me spicy salmon inside out rolls with wasabi tobiko on the outside, and some avocado maki. My companion had chicken yakisoba and a glass of wine. The menu is really extensive and everything is freshly made by the chefs behind the counter. Really impressed by the quality generously filled sushi that was nicely presented and the manager and team were friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!"

"This is only my second time eating here as always a little unsure what to have, however my youngest daughter was eager to try. I am really suprised how good the food is and how healthy and nutritious you can choose. The Staff were amazingly attentive, friendly and autheticly nice, I 've enjoyed my experience here at Solihull and will return. Thank you to our servers Chad Katie, very helpful and kind. Thank you Kid-friendliness: My daughter was really unsure what to try so the waiter 'Chad ' spent time with her choosing and explaining the dishes which was Brill thank you Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend"

"I've been lunching at (Insert Name of the Day) for maybe 5 years twice a year. So this will be brief run through of my experience over the years. In the beginning I was astounded by the quality of the cooking for the price. And then the wine list got better. And then the format changed late last/early this year. So for the first visit under the new name, we constructed a meal that looked pretty similar to the old, and the wine list was at its best. And now to the latest visit I'm not a big fan of the new format, but we gave it one last hurrah. The new wine list is simplified to the near minimum, and cheaper than it was. There was nothing wrong with the wine, it was just standard quaffing with no great aspiration, and a price to match. The flat iron steak was well executed, and somebody in the kitchen still knows what they're doing. If they've gone from building an interesting menu (to me at any rate) you wonder if it's still the same person, and what keeps them there now? So the 3 stars is a reflection of what was, to what is, and who knows what the future holds. I just know sadly I won't be part of it, and like all flesh, it's time is done, and we move on."

"The food at this restaurant is delightful with plenty of options to choose from. The service is top-notch, making it a great spot for a lunch outing. The price per person ranges from £80 to £90, but it is well worth it for the quality of food and service. I highly recommend trying the Pad Thai, Belly Pork Prawn Stir Fry, and Tom Yum for a delicious meal. The atmosphere is also lovely, earning a 5-star rating in my book."

"dinner with some friends who have gone maru a few times in the past. we loved our experience absolutely. the personal was very welcome as soon as we arrived and gladly asked to align Korean. I would recommend the beef bulgogi and the spicy chicken balls. the bibimbap was also a public lover. we will definitely visit again in the future!"

"eating was pretty good, service not so well we waited to sit a sign while the workers went without confirmation that someone would be with us. had gone too table and waiter before we even got there or started to sit. all employees seemed like they weren't disturbed. the food was decent, at least so gave stars instead"

"The environment is friendly and welcoming, however the phone does go off which is a minor inconvenience at best. The decor makes you feel as if you are in a gastronomic trendy restaurant, as per the exposed brick, dark furniture and bright yellow bulbs. Additionally The real selling point is the sushi wheel inside. The menu is limited although this is more to the restaurant size however the refined menu does make way for excellent quality. Just be ready to pay sushi prices is all I'm going to say on that point I've had both sit down and dining and can recommend both. Although this is if you can get the staff's attention as when it is quite they huddle in the area by the coffee machine and talk to each other. Overall I would defiantly come again as it is a gem for the area, although is let down by staff who can be seen in the corner and the phone going off."

"I highly recommend this place! It's very kid-friendly, with plenty of space for children to get involved in the BBQ cooking. The service was excellent as well. We dined for dinner, and the cost per person was around £50–60. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4. Some recommended dishes include the seafood, the 16-piece nigiri sushi platter, and the wagyu chef's special set."

"I went for Sunday lunch at this restaurant and was extremely impressed. The food was delicious and the service was fast and attentive. There were plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options available. I will definitely be returning in the future. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and is dog-friendly in the bar area. The menu had a fantastic selection for vegetarians and those with gluten allergies. The sticky toffee pudding was particularly outstanding. I would rate the service and location both a 5 out of 5."

"One way to determine just how good and authentic a Japanese restaurant is, is how popular it is with the Japanese themselves. Well, this little place is frequented by Japanese regulars every day, many of them risking their careers by leaving their desks in the City for a few moments! Don't be put off by the unassuming premises. Whether you're looking for unadulterated made to order sushi and sashimi, or, in my experience, the best (and most addictive) katsu curry London has to offer, then this is the place. And it's all at reasonable prices. Unexpectedly for such good Japanese food, it's run by a pair of Sri Lankans who trained in Japan for several months, and it shows. Although they also offer some Thai options, I'd stick to the Japanese stuff as that's where they really excel. The lunch specials are especially good value."

"The restaurant itself felt a bit more like a cafe than a restaurant, more suited to a lunch or quick bite to eat. However, the food was extremely good, and very reasonably priced, and the staff were very nice even if a little unhurried"

"This restaurant is on the smaller side and can get very crowded during lunch hours. I recommend arriving a bit early. The aroma of their hot dishes is irresistible, and it's apparent that many people enjoy what they have to offer."

"I love Yo Sushi, but unfortunately this particular location doesn't always meet my expectations. The food is usually what you would expect from a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but sometimes the options on the conveyor belt are not the best."

"It’s such a shame because I was really looking forward to staying in the hotel and eating here. They had run out of most things on the menu, it would have been better if they had explained that at the outset rather than hoping we wouldn’t pick something they didn’t have. The food we did have was ok, the chicken burger was nice enough but the side of slaw on the platter was warm which was slightly off putting. The chips were a soggy bundle in a separate dish, they looked homemade and should have been lovely but I don’t know what happened there. Overall there was just an air of tension. A foreign family came to eat at just after 20:30 and the kitchen had already closed. Probably because they had nothing left to serve but it was an uncomfortable exchange."

"Not the best Japanese food. The bao buns were smaller than usual, gyoza came torn open, ramen was OK but not the best (also broccoli in it- just odd to have in ramen I think). There's much nicer places to eat in the are serving ramen, dumplings etc for similar prices. If you want ramen, shoryu or kandaya is nearby and much better food. Don't usually need to queue for shoryu. With discount it made our dinner quite cheap at around £20 a head, but there was nothing special about the meal. I'm not in a rush to go back."
