"My husband and I paid a visit to our favourite local restaurant tonight and as usual we were not disappointed. Even though it was very busy Dhruba the proprietor squeezed us in and gave us a lovely welcome. Usually we order from the extensive menu but we decided to try the buffet for a change. It was fantastic from start to finish. Our very attentive waitress brought us our wine and after a few minutes she informed us that the freshly cooked starters were ready. We had a huge choice including poppadoms with numerous dips. So yummy ! We had to remind ourselves that this was not the main part of the meal. My husband ordered a cheese naan and once it arrived at our table we returned to the buffet for our main course. What to choose ? There were a selection of 9 different curries ranging from mild to medium/ hot. Something for everyone. I think I tried 6 but had no room for anymore. All were exceptional. Loved them all. Included in the buffet price is 2 scoops of ice cream which was very welcome and slid down very well after after a lovely spicy meal. I can’t recommend the 4 Cs highly enough. We love it."

"My wife and I booked a table at the Cinnamon Tree on Tuesday for the Sunday early evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I checked their web site first before booking as the actual date was on the Monday. Finding out that they did not...open on Mondays we opted for the Sunday. I telephoned the restaurant and made the booking. the person on the other end of the telephone repeated my details and time date ect. We turned up at the restaurant to fined it was closed with a sign on the door stating that they did not open on Sundays and Mondays. We got back in the car and went to turn around at the back of the restaurant and I saw a door at the back of the restaurant open. I stopped the car and went to the door and found someone in the kitchen. I told them that I had booked a table for that night and he confirmed what we had found out with the notes on the door. He then telephoned the owners of the restaurant and he put me on the telephone and I spoke to the owners partner and she said they have not been open for several weeks owing to staff shortages. I asked the lady why the booking had been taken as the staff must be aware of when the restaurant is closed or open and I had gone by their web site. She replied we haven't bothered to up date our web site and will not be doing so and have not bothered to blank out Sundays on the book were the reservations are written in and just blamed the person that took the booking in the first place. Her attitude was I couldn't care less. At this point I was boiling as I have used the Cinnamon Tree for many years and have always had a good meal there. But after this episode they can go to hell I will never go there again."

"Extremely poor customer service. I was unfamiliar with this restaurant, but my partner purchased a Groupon voucher for it. I wondered how bad it could be. When we called to make a reservation, we were informed of an additional £2 charge per person for using the voucher. The staff member was rude and unhelpful. After pointing out that this fee was not mentioned in the offer, we were given an ultimatum: pay the extra charge or find another place to dine. We chose the latter option. Groupon promptly refunded us for the voucher, which was appreciated. Given the negative reviews, we typically wouldn't risk dining at a place like this. In today's competitive hospitality industry, businesses need to provide exceptional service to succeed - something this restaurant lacks."

"Booked a table after reading the great reviews on here it did not disappoint. Very friendly staff who were very chatty and attentive and made you feel welcome and at ease made you feel like you were regular customers. Nicely decorated and clean restaurant. Just had poppadoms and condiments to start and then main course both ordered from the Brasseries recommend section a chicken dish and lamb shank both were delicious and big portions as well that we couldn't finish so took back to our hotel. If visiting this area again would definitely go back for another visit. Highly recommended"

"Been here many many times, usually turn up without booking often after a long walk in the fields but they never seem to mind. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming, one of them recommended 3 dishes to us which went so well together we returned again for a repeat eat! (Bombay biryani, speciality black house dahl Saag in white wine and cream. The Himalayan Ghost is also beautiful. Great food. "Earlier this year, we relocated to the area and have since sampled all of the nearby Indian restaurants. Following a recommendation at a local pub, we decided to order a takeaway from Red Naga tonight. The online ordering process was simple and efficient. We selected a delivery time of 7pm and the driver arrived a few minutes early, providing excellent service. The food was delicious and flavorful. "Very good, they take the time and quality to make good food. The menu is quite extensive and the staff know exactly how to cook a delicious dish. There is a range to choose from such as spicy curry, korma, multiple versions of fried rice and a whole host of starters. I personally love the chicken fried rice and the chicken pakura. The pizzas are nice and the meal box is filled with goodies. The staff are extremely friendly and the prices are worth the quality of food you get, I can guarantee you will not leave disappointed."

"We're originally from New York; grew up in the Indian neighborhood of Jackson Heights eating some of the best Indian/Pakistani food outside of Asia. So, it's a huge compliment to the chef at New Balti Tandoori when I say, their food was the best we've...had ever. It was authentic and absolutely delicious! The service was impeccable; waiter was very friendly and helpful with choosing dishes off their extensive menu. We happen to be staying nearby but even if we were to stay in Central London on future visits, it would absolutely be worth the trek out to Golders Green to dine here again!"

"This is by far the worst kebab I have ever had! I went to the restaurant at 4:30pm and saw a fresh doner kebab being prepared on the spit grill. However, instead of shaving the fresh meat for my order, the guy used some reheated meat from a bain Marie. When I got home and unwrapped the kebab, I found the meat to be inedible and it was clear that it had been reheated from the day before. The pitta bread was hard as a rock and the meat was tough and impossible to chew. I called the restaurant to express my disappointment, but was rudely dismissed. I will definitely not be returning to this place again."

"I ordered takeout from this restaurant, but some items were missing from my order. The sauce on my dish was tasteless and watery. I specifically asked for no peppers in one of the dishes, but it came with peppers anyways. When I called to inquire about the missing items, they told me to come back and they would have them ready, but they did not offer to deliver them to us. We used to dine in regularly at this restaurant, but after this disappointing experience and their unhelpful attitude, we have decided never to return. We ended up cooking the rice ourselves and warming up some wraps. Overall, it was a very disappointing meal."
