"I don't understand why this place has such high ratings. The food is terrible, like really, really bad. It's not just uninspired or inconsistent, it's consistently awful. The loud music and poor building design create a terrible echo that is only made worse by the numerous birthday groups celebrating. Every 5 minutes, your meal is interrupted by even louder music for another birthday. It's great for the person celebrating, but do I have to go deaf because of their poor choice in restaurants? No, thank you. Avoid this place at all costs."

"Walking into Prezzo today it was quiet and we were sat very quickly by a lovely male server (didn’t catch his name but he had a septum piercing). He was incredibly accommodating and when I asked for a calorie free menu he went out of his way to go and find one! We ordered drinks and decided to go alcohol free, we tried both the strawberry and blood orange lemonade which were very tasty and well worth the money. The food was also very flavourful. We ordered calamari to start which was beautifully seasoned and wasn’t too chewy and the Tartar sauce was a nice compliment to them. For mains we had the chicken Alfredo which was once again beautiful, creamy and flavourful. The spaghetti bolognese was well seasoned and very tasty! And the chicken and pepper pizza was cooked beautifully, crispy base and lots of flavour! Unfortunately the visit felt almost spoiled by the attitude of servers. It did take a good 20 minutes for us to even have our order taken but the food came out very quickly. When I asked a different server for a sharper knife/ pizza cutter for the pizza she looked at me with a very ‘fed up’ expression and then quite rudely pointed at the table we were sat at if to say go and sit down. After paying we waited for our friend to use the toilet and were stared at by a server who seemed annoyed that we were waiting around. Then whilst going to leave we said thank you (common decency) and were met with a very aggressive ‘bye.’ Nothing else. You would think after spending a considerable amount of money in a restaurant the customer service would be a lot more friendly. I work in the service industry and I understand it can be frustrating but unfortunately I wasn’t the only one in our group who felt the passive aggressiveness of the servers. All in all; tasty food and drinks. The male server who sat us and took our order was lovely. It’s just a shame it was let down by the attitude of others."

"I was disappointed that I had made a reservation online and received confirmation, but when we arrived at the restaurant, they could not find any record of it. However, they managed to find a table for us and the service was good. However, when our server was bringing us the bill, he was interrupted by someone who I believe was the manager. Despite explaining that he was busy, he was made to clean another table while the manager waited to set it. As a result, we had to wait longer to receive our bill. When our server finally brought it to us, he was embarrassed and apologized, asking if the manager was right to make him deal with the vacant table before bringing our bill. "After I made a reservation through OpenTable, the restaurant had no record of my booking. It was meant to be a surprise for a birthday celebration, and we ended up having to sit at two separate tables (there were six of us). Initially, the restaurant staff was not very accommodating, but after I found the confirmation email for my reservation, they apologized and offered us a bottle of wine, along with a discount on our bill. I didn't share my experience at the time, and I don't think I'll be rushing to return."

"I booked the table online, although there was a Wigan game on, but the recipe could best be described as hostile. the gruß said there was no record of the booking I arrived a little early and you said I had to wait 45 minutes. I let the rude and abrupt one I have experienced go to the embarrassment of my daughter's sake. I asked for the table in 45 minutes and said I had a drink at the bar. I sat 10 minutes later at one of the 5 empty tables in the restaurant! the eating was ok, but nothing special, the place was busy, so the waiter was stretched and the individual table service was thereby suffered."

"I've been to francie benny several times, there's an extensive menu that provides for all budgets. we go in the rule for the set menu, which is very good value for money and cost depends on how many courses they have. the decor is old American diner style and eating is influenced by this and it has an Italian flare to it also I think. I have always enjoyed my time here, the customer service is really great, I never had a bad experience. recently I went to francie benny’s in straiton, edinburgh, but his not on this app from any reason. whatever they are going to him is always obvious that families are welcome (because of the poor level with special location, the employees are very attentive. a mother's day I went with my mother to the Straiton restaurant and my mother came with a card and a box of chocolate by frankie benny’s and on her birthday they brought her gloom illuminated with a candle/parkler and brought happy birthday music for the whole restaurant. how supposed it was when she was, it was great fun:"

"I had a fantastic dinner tonight! The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Kerry, who was outstanding! The food was delicious; we tried the pasta and pizza deal, which included three pasta dishes and a choice of an amazing pizza for just £23. Everything was absolutely incredible! We also enjoyed the waffles for dessert, which were delightful. Overall, this place is a hidden gem! If you're considering going, you definitely won't be disappointed. "Every time I visit Frankie & Benny's, I'm never disappointed. I was there just yesterday, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive. Wow, the portion sizes are huge! I had the meatball pasta and chips, which was more than enough for two people. Our waitress, a lovely young blonde, was incredibly attentive and had a great demeanor. When I mentioned I couldn’t finish my meal, she kindly suggested I take it home in a doggy bag, which I did. The menu has a nice variety, and I plan to try everything over time. The ambiance is beautifully relaxing. I absolutely love this place!"

"The service we received was excellent; our server was patient as my wife, our 3-year-old son, and I made our selections for drinks and meals. He made my son's meal a priority since he was very tired and returned quickly with our orders. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the food. I ordered the crispy chicken hamburger, but the chicken breast was bland and greasy, as if it had been deep-fried in lukewarm oil. My wife's pasta was decent but not exceptional. My son barely touched his cod, baked beans, and corn. However, given how tired he was, I'm not sure whether it was the food or his fatigue affecting his appetite. I've dined at Frankie & Benny's at other locations like Tamworth and Norfolk and have generally enjoyed the meals, but the experience at the Stafford branch was disappointing. I cannot recommend this location of Frankie & Benny's."

"After about 10 minutes, we were seated. While our drink and food orders were taken fairly quickly, our starter took an unusually long time to arrive, especially considering that other tables, who were seated after us, received their appetizers before we did. When our main courses were finally served, I realized I had no cutlery! I attempted to flag down a staff member to ask for some, but after receiving no response, I had to borrow some from the table across from us. When we finished our main courses, we asked for the bill. Unfortunately, when the waitress brought it to us, a glass of wine accidentally spilled all over me, shattering and scattering pieces everywhere. Once again, we struggled to get anyone’s attention for help. Overall, we were very disappointed with the service that night. While the food was quite good, our experience left us feeling reluctant to return anytime soon, despite having enjoyed dining at the Merry Hill Frankie & Benny's in the past."

"Terrible in almost every way. We arrived at 6 PM on a Friday night, and despite there being only a few other occupied tables, it took over 45 minutes for our main courses to be served. It seemed that the staff had forgotten about my burger. They did come to apologize, but in the meantime, they just left my wife’s pizza sitting under the heat lamps while we waited. When the food finally arrived, the "house special" burger was overcooked, bland, and tasteless; the pizza was dry; and the fries were lukewarm and chewy. I expected standard chain restaurant fare, not gourmet cuisine, but this was truly disappointing."
