"Our first time visiting The horseshoe, celebrating our wedding anniversary! And it was the best meal we have had eating out in a long while, Sirloin steak was cooked just how I asked it to be delicious served with mixed fresh vegetables including a couple of new potatoes a bowl of chips, tomato two mushrooms peppercorn sauce! Wow so much food presented good and totally worth the price, desserts again Wow large portions of sticky toffee pudding with custard warm chocolate fudge cake with cream! Yummy delicious. Waitresses were very nice and friendly and food was served with not having to wait ages. We will definitely be back soon. Sunday lunch next time."

"Absolutely gorgeous food that we're still raving about days later! The Reef is located just over the road from the beach so you get the gorgeous view of the sea. We already can't wait to return. The Kermit cocktail is also delicious and highly recommended! If you are Gluten Free, this place is amazing as most things on the menu can be made gluten free! I had so much choice of things to eat which is a rarity. Thanks so much guys!"

"Sunday early evening family meal out. First time we'd eaten at the Bull and Claw. Service was excellent. Bring your own crayons but staff are so kind and helpful with paper. We had the half lobster which in everyway was absolutely superb! Lobster was cooked perfectly and served cut around in the shell. Salad was a lovely mix of vegetables cheese and no scrimping on the a homemade dressing. Very impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Mark served us with willing smile and helpfulness. Definitely recommend trying Donaghadee. Parking: Being Sunday evening we lucked out on 2 on street free parking spaces right in front of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Although they couldn't find the crayons staff were brilliant to find paper."

"Had a party here recently (renting out the top floor) and can't thank the venue and staff enough for a fantastic evening. Leading up to the event, they were really responsive answering all our questions promptly and everything was completely transparent. On the night itself, the staff were brilliant and fun, the venue itself is absolutely lovely and very photogenic (bonus points for the stage) my only minor critique is to be able to have the music a bit louder but 10/10 evening would recommend to anyone."

"I have eaten here at two earlier places where it was very busy, but it was worth eating. on this occasion I booked a table for 4 o'clock on Sunday to make sure that we had a table for my man's birthday as we traveled from the east midlands. at the arrival there was a table that was clearly reserved for us with 4 o'clock and we ordered a drink early. after deciding what to eat, we were advised that the kitchen was not open until 17 o'clock! as we had a 2 hours drive to the house, we could not wait until then and had to be extremely disappointed. at no time has been pointed out either on the opentable or FFC website that food is not served until after 17 o'clock. we had traveled specifically for a birthday contract that went to end what was a big day. Please make sure that a restaurant is not open at the desired booking time, it is clearly stated that eating is not served."

"we went to the farm girl as friends. the restaurant closed the half of the restaurants for the evening, my friend and I sat between two tables of the staff and friends of the staff with dinner. it was loud and the table to a side of us sat practically on us. regardless of the paid customers - this table knicked over my pocket, sat on me, beat in us and all insane. it made it very hard for you to enjoy dinner service. back to the service of the staff our drinks were taken away from us before they were finished and also with the food. it wasn't busy for a Friday night, but I can't go beyond how terrible it was."

"Perfect New Years Hot Pot Delivery I’ve never been to Dentons Deli before and saw them advertising Cottams hot pot delivered baked to your door on New Years Eve ... well that seemed like an opportunity too good to be true for a busy mum of 4.. I was worried it might not turn up as if never used them before but thought I would risk it rather than dragging the kids out of bed and queuing for hotpot and I needn’t have worried at all ... "Stumbled across the tap room between a pre-drink cocktail and our dinner reservation. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, offering a couple of tries of the vast number of beers they had on tap. Settled on a rum cask beer (delicious) while the other half...was very happy with a cocktail. Only thing that dulled this visit was the lack of table space, but the staff were happy for us to stay at the bar and enjoy our drinks. Noting this was a Thursday around 8pm, I imagine it is a very popular location so would recommend booking if you want a seat. Otherwise, a great find that I would recommend!"

"before my naked famous concert there were some time to kill, so I went into the seemingly busy – and popular – fatburger in camden town. as it was on Tuesday, there was a special promotion with an additional plump with each burger. yes! I went for the crispy chicken sandwich and a side of the fat fries but disappointment! there was about a minute waiting for the food and when it arrived, it looked good, but it didn't taste good. the chicken has a crispy, fried crispy and inside was meat, but it was bone dry with not a single sense of a juice. more mayo (or even salate, I dare to say) was urgently needed and the riders also suffered the same problems, it was dry and a hard eating. "Well what can i say about my buffet for my 30th birthday party. The food was delicious and plenty to say the least but what was different about this party is the personal touches that lisa made. Theme was a alice in wonderland mad hatters tea party and ingenious to put pickles and dips in tea cups and serve jam tarts (queen of hearts haha) on beautiful cake stands. My guests had nothing but praise for the food and said how delicious it all was. TI will defintely be recommending this ladies services to anyone wanting a personal catering experience. "Bill's offers excellent British food throughout the day at an equally excellent price. This particular branch is tucked away in St. Martin's Courtyard which has a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Bill's Brownie Milkshake is a personal favourite along with their halumi sticks and garlic mayonnaise. Tonight I tried for the first time their sweet potato fries, which were unfortunately served rather oily, and could have spend another 2-3 minutes straining. Oddly the apple juice was also a bit of a disappointment as it was served at room temperature, which if freshly pressed wouldn't have been such a surprise. This was all forgotten with the usual excellent service and care from their staff, something which you can always bank on."

"I have just returned from a two night stay at this hotel which was enjoyable. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor and looked out onto the extensive grounds. I made a mistake by not enquiring as to whether the hotel had a lift as my sister-in-law had walking difficulties. However, she managed. Our meal arrangement was breakfast and dinner in the evening to include nibbles and two courses from the menu. If we required a further course, this was an extra. We had a delightful Vietnamese waitress on our first evening by the name of Le. She was absolutely charming. She informed us that this weekend the hotel had an Indian Wedding taking place and that an elephant would be arriving for the ceremony. We were sorry we couldn 't witness the proceedings. One thing I would like to mention is that the hotel is on an incline and when exiting, it is very difficult to see the traffic approaching and a mirror on the opposite side of the road would be helpful."

"After waiting until the last minute to book a restaurant in Chester, I decided to try The Handbridge, as it was just a short walk from the city center. Upon entering, I found the place to be quite calm, but I must say that both the food and service were excellent. It's a pity there wasn't a livelier atmosphere. I imagine that on a busier night outside of January, the place would have a lot more energy, given the quality of the food."
