"I had the BFF milkshake and a spicy chicken burger. The milkshake was everything you could want, and I even got it for free with the burger—what a deal! The portion size was generous; I almost couldn’t finish it. The spicy burger could have been a bit spicier, though—I was hoping for a little more heat! But the quality of the food was excellent. The atmosphere here is lovely and has a fun vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even offered us a 10% discount on our next order if we post about them on Instagram. And by the way, the boss has great hair!"

"After placing my order I waited 1 hour 10 minutes before ringing to ask where it was. The rude girl on the phone told me the food was leaving now. I asked if there was a reason it had taken so long. The g8rl just said they were busy. I explained usually it's polite to let people know when there is a long wait for food. The girl didn't say anything and as I was talking another girl came on the phone asking what the problem was in a very rude manner. I reiterated what I had just said and all she has to say was well what do you want me to do about it. I asked for my food to be cancelled and I won't be ordering again. 10 minutes later the food arrived at the door. We explained to the delivery driver we didn't want the food. He didn't understand is very well so we paid for the food and said thank you. Our food was just about warm and looked like it had been sat there awhile. I rang back to explain and the girl proceeded to tell me she had looked on the system and it had been 1 hour and 5 minutes since i placed the order when I rang to ask where my food was and not 1 hour 30 minutes. By now I was getting extremely agitated by the way it was being dealt with. I was then placed on hold with no warning. I told the girl once I got off the phone after asking where my food was till the delivery guy turned up it had been nearly an hour and a half. I wasn't prepared to argue with her over the time when I rang to ask why my food was so cold. Really bad customer service, really bad food and I most certainly won't be ordering from here again. Disgusting."

"The wrap itself was soft on top and generously topped with melted cheese, but beneath it was rock hard—not crispy, but tough, as if it had been microwaved first. That part was inedible. The saving grace came from the pots of salsa, sour cream, and guacamole, which added flavor to the meal; otherwise, it would have been a 2 out of 10. Even the tortilla chips were the cheapest available. The side of chips was quite nice, though. My friend's meal included half ribs and chicken wings, but they initially messed up the order and had to send back the first batch. She said it was just okay, but considering the price, the quality of the meat was lacking. I tried a wing and found it overcooked and somewhat tough, with the piri piri sauce being too spicy—buffalo sauce would have been a better fit. The whole experience could have been significantly improved with a bit more care, better ingredients, or a chef who was either more attentive or had a better grasp of Mexican cuisine. Having worked in catering for much of my career, I'm a bit of a tough critic, and honestly, I wouldn't choose to eat here again. On a positive note, the server was very pleasant and professional. Overall, there is definitely room for improvement!"

"We ordered through UberEats, and our food arrived nearly two hours later than the estimated delivery time. To make matters worse, we received chicken strips instead of wings, and three portions of fries and coleslaw were missing. We attempted to call the restaurant over ten times, but no one answered. Eventually, we found another number online, but the person who answered was rude. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a takeaway service! I do not recommend this restaurant at all! Extremely disappointed!"

"Unfortunately after 6-6 trips we had our first bad one on Sunday. They had issues with the Open Table app and wasn't expecting us, the service was very slow and we just couldn't the attention of staff and when we asked for milkshakes as a treat for the kids were told they didn't have any milk... (there are supermarkets nearby) we will try it again.. but wanted to post a review in the hope management see that the standards which originally drew us in (i.e. super friendly staff, high levels of service etc) appear to be dipping.... hopefully just a blip."

"This was our first time trying this restaurant, and we were a bit skeptical when our delivery arrived late. However, we live in Stobswell, and to our surprise, the food was still hot and not soggy. The salad, kebab, and filling in the calzone were all fresh, and the fries remained crispy. They also provided a variety of delicious sauces that tasted homemade. The portion sizes were generous, offering great value for money. The chicken pieces were tender, and the coating was crispy, distinguishing it from other places we've tried. I will definitely order from them again. Sorry, no photos—I ate everything before I could take any!"

"The Resturant was cold the entire time, we were told only to sit in specific seats because there was only two of us, for then couples to sit in those seats anyway. We ordered are food first out of all the people in the resturant, we got given our food last as the waitress gave our food to another couple, they new they had messed up but never told us and just ignored us until we mad an issue of it. We also ordered drinks that never happened until we ordered them again. It has potential but just seems unorganised. P.s Do not get the shakes with spirits, they are expenisve and you do not even notice it, for all I know they didnt even add any."

"We went to FireJacks the other day before going to the cinema, As it happened we arrived earlier than the time the table was booked for, We went inwere greeted by a nice young lady who had a ready smile,said no problems then let us choose a table which was great. We sat down and checked out the drinks menu I had a delicous beer which had a goose on the pump handle, the beer was refreshing and tasty, we then went on to order our main courses which were both hot and delicous, I had the Shrimps which were lovelyfresh, we then went onto our mains which were also amazing, I had a firejacks grill which had chicken wings,shrimps,pork ribs,a redslaw a side of chips which was delicous, they have a wide range of sauces to choose from to compliment your food. we then went onto have puddings which were fantastic. The only downside was my fiancee wanted some Thousand island or seafood sauce neither were available"

"On a positive note, the mini bread rolls were fantastic! The macaroni and cheese was good, and my burger was delicious, with tasty chips on the side. However, I did have an issue with the children's meal we ordered. We requested chicken strips with cheese and a tiny portion of broccoli. Instead, we received actual grilled chicken breast, which wasn't what we expected for chicken strips. I personally enjoy this kind of dish, but children often do not, so it ended up going to waste. Additionally, the portion of broccoli was too small; there was barely enough for a few bites. Despite these issues, I would consider returning to the restaurant."

"Really enjoyed our visit to Munch following the change in ownership and would highly recommend it based on our dining experience. Lovely staff, great service, warm atmosphere and a delicious meal. Though we only had chicken crunchies, burgers and fries everything was served served hot,...fresh and and to a very high standard. The burger was the best I’ve had in a very long time, the chicken crunchies superb and the accompanying salad and delicate dressing delicious. Will definitely be ordering a takeaway during lockdown and ask others to support so we can dine in again as and when they reopen. Nice one Munch, thanks!"
