"We dined here for the first time over the weekend and had a great experience! Upon arrival, we found out they were operating with a limited menu because they had sold out of most items. It was only 1:30 PM on a Sunday, which speaks volumes about how popular this place is! Honestly, there were only about 4-5 options left for us to choose from, which made us a bit unsure. However, we decided to try everything they had available, including the chicken, pork, and sweet potato tacos, as well as the loaded fries. Everything was incredibly delicious and packed with flavor, and the portion sizes were generous too! My partner and his mom also enjoyed some coffee, which they both said was fantastic. We can’t wait to return and sample the full menu soon!"

"This is the perfect place for date night, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food is amazing. There is a good vegan range of food for starters and mains (didn't get desserts) which are clearly labeled on the menu. I had the sweetcorn cakes and then the pad thai, and my friend had the chicken tacos and the chicken with cashew nuts stir fry. I would 100% recommend these dishes. The menu also states how spicy the food is which is helpful. There is a long list of cocktails, a bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it. Their version of a pornstar martini is the best I've ever had. We called up and booked a late reservation, where we were seated didn't look like some of the photos online, I think maybe if you ask or book further in advance there might be more scenic tables to sit at."

"leave the al pastor 24h marinated pork. they were really good. the swarm was made with avocado, twill lime and the thinnest slicer of sweet ananas that perfected the balance. we had three and it was the perfect amount. the personal was great and I liked the music choice (sometimes that harassed me) a cocktail that ended everyone well. it is a good place to catch a place on the market. the ribs looked good, I'll try the next time."

"This was our second visit for a Sunday roast, and I have no complaints. The service was exceptional, and the food was flawless. We brought a couple along with us, and they both enjoyed their meals as well. We're definitely planning to check out the new venue!"

"Upon entering this cafe, I was unsure of what to expect as I am new to the area. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and inviting atmosphere, complemented by the lovely decor. The prices on the menu were a bit higher than I would typically like to spend on brunch, but the friendly service made up for it. They even gave my dog a treat and a water bowl! The food I ordered, nuevos rancheros, was delicious, but at $13.50, I felt it was a bit pricey. I wished it came with more tortillas to dip in the guacamole and refried beans. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and food, despite the slightly higher prices. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely consider returning."

"This is a definite pub we will be going back to, and if we had just moved into the area, we would been regulars straight away...the staff and regulars were so lovely and friendly. We arrived very late for food as we had been out visiting local attractions during our holiday in the area, so were lucky they were still serving. we went into the little back garden as it was a lovely sunny evening and the locals in the garden chatted to us straight away. We ordered food and although they had just run out of the food one of us ordered (it was the daily special Chilli con Carne not one of the regular items on the pub menu , the staff and landlady apologised and said they would give us an 'adapted ' daily special, that ended up being a massive board of food, all the chicken tacos and fajitas we could possibly eat, a huge salad each and a huge bowl of chips each, all for no extra charge (Emma 's meal is in the photo attached! . Finally after a few drinks we went to say goodbye and even then they said oh come along Saturday there are loads of events going on and come in for food and drinks. Sadly we were headed home the following night. BUT such a nice welcome to two strangers in their pub. WE WILL BE BACK. Mark and Emma"

"Newquay does not have any real fine-dining restaurants that I could find but I really did want to find something that was a bit better than your normal pub grub fare and the Griffin was certainly that. My wife and I dined here on three occasions during our stay in the town without booking and the food was very good. I was introduced to a very nice wine as well by the waitress as they did not have anything close to my usual choice, so well done to her. On the third visit, we did feel less welcome; more conveyor belt let us get them through the system as fast as we can and it was not the same team as we had seen on the previous occasions so we just had a main course and left it at that. From our experience, this was the best food the town centre could offer."

"I have been waiting to try this place having heard great reviews.So finally manage to make it..The ambience is chilled out. Coming to the food we go for garlic tortilla and nachos. The garlic tortilla was a much awaited dish and boy it doesn't disappoint..It's like eating a lighter, crispier n better version of garlic bread.I cud jus go on eating this.The nachos were nice bt missing something... Can't quite point out. For mains it was chicken tacos and veg burrito. So it's 3 tacos in a plate which tasted decent but the plating could do better...My bottom taco got soggy and messy. The burrito though was niceee. The place is fun and so is the food. Definitely going back for some burgers this time and of course the garlic tortilla as well.Cheers!"

"we celebrated here for a close friend 21st birthday, great place for groups of all sizes (there were 13 of us over two big tables). we have booked the brunch that was beautiful, many small dishes that were brought out, including edamame drilling, various tacos, zeviches and more. the brunch is £65 and includes eating and a cocktail called ciroc skin vision, which was one of the most beautiful cocktails I ever had. all other drinks must be bought separately, so it can be too expensive, but since this was unimportant for a big celebration. the atmosphere was extremely lively, which was so refreshing, as the restaurants could not do that because of restrictions. the personal was attentive and friendly, a big brunch!"

"Fabulous friendly pub in the heart of Lindley, 3 4 miles from the centre of Huddersfield. We’ve visited twice in the last few weeks both times the food and service has been exceptional. The chicken Katsu curry is delicious my husband enjoyed this on both occasions. I’ve had the tasty hunter’s chicken today the lasagna. Both meals excellent value, on the 2 for £14.99 a great saving. We were wonderfully served today by Danny, Josh, Kyle and Lewis thanks for making the visit fuss free. We’ll certainly visit again soon. We can all highly recommend the Black Bull"

"WOW! I really fancied a proper burrito for lunch and not from a fast food outlet where there is no character or flavour to the food! A quick google search pulled up this little food outlet in the indoor trinity market in the old town! its been a long time since i have been in here and its changed so much! We ordered 3 different meat filled burritos and we all enjoyed them. They were well filled and contained lots of meat! All the burritos were freshly prepared to order. You are given an electric buzzer which indicated your order was ready so you can sit and chill. The burritos only cost £5 each and for the size of them i feel this is a bargain! We did also try the Jarritos Mexican cola and to be honest for £3.50 I wasn't impressed. I'd recommend either a normal coke or a different flavour of Jarritos if your feeling lavish. The service from the lady was very friendly and helpful too Overall a very enjoyable lunch and plenty of dessert places for pudding!"

"Nice bar, we came here close to the bar closing so was fairly quiet but that was just what we wanted so we could have a drink or two, chat and then go home. The bar inside is very nice, with plenty of seats. We didn’t have any food but I’m sure we will go back here and sample their food one afternoon. "My first experience of Taco Bell and it was amazing. The service was great, even during a pandemic. The staff were friendly however as a new person they didn't really advise what happened after I ordered. But I took my seat and was called to collect my food. And my god it was brilliant. Loved trying the new things. Went for a meal with my friend and definitely lovely. Will go back to Taco Bell again if this is the quality. Really well done."

"I love Chipotle! It’s in my top 5 places to eat out for a quick lunch/dinner and I go there very often. The food is always delicious, amazing quality and healthy. I always used to feel very satisfied after eating there. However, more recently it feels as if every time I eat at Chipotle, or perhaps at this specific store, that the portions are getting smaller and smaller. For the meal I usually get I pay £8.80, but I’m starting to feel like this isn’t good value for money. The bowls should be completely full, and I should be able to see it is full from a distance, which I no longer can. In the last few weeks I still feel hungry after I leave, and I don’t feel it’s good value anymore. If you pay extra for guacamole, you should get a good helping, not just a little spoonful. I usually only get a sprinkling of rice and small portion of the vege/meat option too, which for that price is a little bit cheeky. The store managers should review this. I know lots of other people who have started to feel the same way. If you compare the portion sizes in the UK versus the US it is really shocking."

"We got a take out from Khau Galli for the first time on yesterday (saturday), and it was delicious. The reason this isn’t a full 5/5 is purely because when we got home (20 minutes away) we found that we were missing one of the starters. We called and left a message on the answer service and messaged them too. So far we’ve not heard back. We’ll definitely be visiting again as the restaurant looked fantastic too. Just a shame that they didn’t ring back to fix the problem with the missing food. We’ll see if they read this and put it right. I’d be more than happy to give the restaurant 5/5 if this small oversight is resolved though. "The staff at this pub do change regularly under the watchful eye of senior staff member Becky but they all come up to scratch quickly and offer good service. There are two new chefs on the block now who are getting to grips with their new pad (Russell and Hugh). Russell was on duty when we went. Hubby and I ordered fish and chips from the Seniors' menu being the right sized meal for our appetites. It was so lovely, crispy batter over succulent cod, lovely chips, mushy peas (for me) and tartare sauce and a wedge of lemon such a delight to have this treat on a weekday. Well done and keep up the good cooking Russell, we will be back again this week to test another of our favourites on you!"
