"My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant tonight and ordered the squid balls and beef steamed buns, which were both decent but not outstanding. Unfortunately, the bun part of the steamed buns was cold. For our main dishes, my girlfriend ordered a chicken noodle bowl and I ordered a pork noodle bowl, but neither were worth the price. The chicken noodle bowl was bland and my girlfriend couldn't eat much of it because it made her feel sick. The broth and noodles just didn't taste right. My pork noodle bowl also lacked flavor and was bland. We ended up not eating much of our mains, but our waiter Adam was kind and helped us get a refund for one of the noodle bowls. Despite this, we probably won't be returning to eat here again, as our first experience was much better."

"Day out with the kids, the service was fantastic, greeted and shown to the table as soon as we got to the door, the place looks very clean and there is a nice chilled atmosphere, our server was Harry who was very happy and friendly, when taking our orders, he was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations, one of my teenager doesn’t like anything spicy and Harry helped with food alterations. The food came out it looked and tasted great, and Harry showed us how to use the chopsticks. I recommend it here the food and service is brilliant."

"Stopped by at our favorite joint for the usual sake, chicken Gyoza, and katsu chicken. Food is good across the board and so I can happily mention that it was just as good in Glasgow. It's important to mention that many a time the taste may be the same but service may suffer from city to city.. This was not the case here. The staff is just as friendly if not more over here in comparison to Dubai."

"wagamama now has an extensive vegan menu, so I decided to check it. it is a good attempt, but easily loses for me because it is moderate. the chilli squid was disappointing. all they can taste is the teig and if they actually get a bit of fun, it is super chew. the sticky ribs are beautiful. they taste “meaty” and meet in any case the place. bang flower cauliflower is ok. it tastes in a round as roasted cauliflower in a slightly sweet chill sauce. I had better buffalo flowers wings. finally the kare burosu ramen. very fresh tasting and very filling. I had better vegan noodles (try pho) and the noodles are super big, so I just couldn't finish it. too many noodles and not enough veg for my dear customer service I cannot blame. all were super friendly and helpful updated on 25th august 2021: only was in wagamama in watford and had a beautiful curry. I have now concluded that wagamama eating is not too bad, but stick to her vegan curries. beautiful taste and meets the place. had only the tofu raisukaree. reminds me of a thai penang curry, so it is a must of previous review updated on 2021-07-17"

"This Wagamama is definitely my favorite! The manager, Martina, is an incredible person who is focused on providing excellent service. The waitstaff is also fantastic."

"This was going to be a 1 Star until we spoke to the manager.... We visited Wagamamas for an early Valentine 's Day Treat as we are both off. We arrived before there was a queue outside and were given a high table with wobbily seats. We ordered one main each, I ordered the kare burosu ramen and my partner ordered shirodashi ramen. My partner 's shirodashi ramen arrived at 12.36, ten minutes in we got asked what we were missing, they said they would chase it up with the kitchen. Ten minutes later the same waitress had visited other tables and gave out orders, so we asked someone else who was going to chase it up. A shirodashi ramen (Pork Belly) was presented to me... When told it wasn 't mine they proceeded to find out who it belong to, it was then taken back to the kitchen as they had obviously made up the wrong meal for me. Chased it up again as it had now been 25 minutes and even though my partner took breaks to prolong his meal he had already finished. My meal then arrives after 30 minutes.... But where are one of the main ingredients? The Kare burosu ramen is broth, tofu, mushrooms and greens. My meal had double the amount of broth than normal. I told them I was missing mushrooms, five minutes later a bowl of mushrooms are presents.... three minutes later I was asked is that better now? .... Why yes, to have a meal with all the correct ingredients is much improvement! We have visited Wagamama many times, it 's the first time visiting the Nottingham branch, and everyone 's table always seemed to have one person having their meal and the other doesn 't. One table of three near us had the same problem that one person had finished their meal before the other two even received theirs. There was a lot of staff on the floor so I don 't think it was due to lack of staff. We spoke to the manager and put forward our disappointment, she took my meal off the receipt which was good because it was a ridiculous experience and she said we could have a dessert to share which was nice. She said that there was a problem with the kitchen and lack of communication. If there was a problem with a second of the kitchen then this should have been stated to everyone at seating or ordering stage. We also asked for napkins at the start of my partner 's meal but of course there was no chance in receiving them. Not sure what the answer is on this branch but from our experience and the customers around us something needs to happen! I was very tempted to tell the people queuing outside the door not to bother."

"beautiful ambiente, spacious and private seating and all meals were pacted with taste. my teen daughter is vegetarian /vegan and she has suggested here and we had a nice lunch with generous portions great meal times. a star for hunting on cutlery and serviettes, which had to be on the table in the first place, and meal times were sporadically brought out, which meant that at least one of us sat with our meal, while minutes went for eating / beside orders, if it is nice to actually get and eat all our food at the same time. waited too long to be asked for gloomy, so decided to go and pay was also slow. would be 100% revisit and recommend. I really wanted to give you 5 stars."

"To our surprise, Wagamamas did not meet our expectations from previous visits. First of all, there was a large queue outside of the building, even though many seats could be seen available. Secondly, the server which greeted us was passive aggressive towards our simple question about paying with a gift card. Thankfully, though, our main server, Ruben, was very welcoming and enthusiastic. However, this added no value to the quality of our food; despite the aesthetically pleasing presentation, the flavours did not work well and the appalling stench of one the ingredients put us off from the rest of our food, leaving us dissatisfied and feeling unwell. The cherry blossom lemonade was light and sweet which was nice but the same cannot be said for the tropical juice- which was seventy percent pulp. To add to all of this, the seating is slightly uncomfortable due to the cramped atmosphere created by the closeness of the tables, which mostly consist of benches where you are seated with other guests. Respectfully, we will not be returning."

"We have just experienced what has to be one of our best visits to Wagamama (and we eat there a lot). Our waiter, Dan, greeted us like he’d taken on the role of Dungeon Master. He was funny, engaging, great with the kids. They actually made him a thank you card out of the paper menus. All the food was hot and delicious and they didn’t skimp on the tofu in the Raisukaree as other branches do. The meals came out within a few minutes of each other. It was all so quick and easy. If you’re reading this Dan, you made our night!"

"Noodles!. Wagamama is a chain which serves noodles. The seating is very nice and the food comes on a first-come first-serve bases. So, if someones' meal is ready before someone elses, the one that was made first comes to the table. I ordered steak and noodles. The steak was tasty, but the noodles were undercooked. The orange juice was VERY big but I managed it. The ice cream was lovely. Me and my parents paid £25 which is a reasonable amount. It turns out that Wagamamas' speciality; noodles, is not so special after all!"

"I tried katsu on promo yesterday in the cinema, and it was so good I decided to order. For starters, the prices are not high at all. All food came hot, fresh, and beautifully packed. The portions were big. The taste was amazing! I'm converted 100%! From questionable quality of the meet from tasteless chinese takeaways. Well done, wagamama."

"my man and I have eaten some paints here and have always enjoyed it. Today, however, we decided to bring our 11-month old. it is not always easy to find child-friendly places where you do not feel troubled with a child car, etc. but the personal was more than helpful and very friendly. and I cannot recommend the child menu enough. my son loved his lunch, just like us. highly recommended if they are looking somewhere to go with children!"

"After a cinema visit we decided to eat at Wagamama. However from the annoyed staff who clearly did not want to serve us as late arrivals at 9.20pm to the food what a disaster. The only female waiter was silent and rude .She communicated only with facial expressions We ordered drinks and they were thrown onto the table without a word and left balancing on the edge of the table There was a waiter at the next table giving a lot of attention to a group because one of their party worked for the Wagamama chain we heard every detail about how the chefs were trained and where because the waiter was standing right next to us whilst he clicked a clip on his lanyard it was extremely annoying and when asked to stop he pulled a face and walked away. We ate and left as fast as we could. On leaving we re read the menu outside and as we thought several items listed on the menu on our two simple dishes had been missing, as well as having cold plates and rude waiting staff I suggest you eat elsewhere in Touchwood and give these rude waiting staff a miss ."

"Expensive for what it is. Advertising Yaki Soba chicken and prawn is a laugh, 3 bits of thinly sliced chicken thighs and 5 tiny shrimp (tiny prawns). The rest noodles, peppers and spring onion. Must cost them literally £1.50 to make incl overheads. Also I...ordered the crispy squid, hardly any squid mainly batter, absolute steal at £6.95. It was all tasty enough but realistically I could get street food at a third of the price and better portion sizes..."

"Okay, we all know what Wagamama’s and what it’s like. But this was probably my best experience at one of their restaurants. Loads more vegan options than I remember clear new ones and the existing ones were as nice as ever. Tried the ‘ribs’ and ‘squid’ along with the standard mushroom buns and the vegatsu all gorgeous. Plus the staff were all great and helpful. Not cheap, but worth it… very nice experience"

"WHAT WE HAD: Yasai Gyoza £5.75); Yasai Samla Curry £9.95) – Lemongrass coconut curry with tofu, peppers, shitake mushrooms and baby plum tomatoes paired with white rice; kare burosu ramen £10.95) – shichimi-coated silken tofu and grilled mushrooms on udon noodles in curried veg broth, topped with pea shoots, carrot, chili, coriander Food is ok as one would expect from Wagamama, flavourful food that isn’t strictly Japanese food but still alright, and at typical high street prices. We would have liked it if it was served piping hot especially the noodles). The service was a bit slow and unfriendly, one of our orders was forgotten and it took a while for us to get a server’s attention. Disappointing service especially when we were dining in when before the dinner rush, there was only us and 2 other groups of customers at the time."

"Specifically visited this Wagamama when they introduced the new vegan/vegetarian menu, and while the food was great, especially the new Kare Burosu the service was really poor. It was very busy and when we arrived and the queue to get in was a jumble of people with and without reservations with no organisation. We then ordered pretty quickly, and the food took forever to arrive. The meals came out at such different times that one person was finished by the time the last meal came, and the sides came a long time after the mains, and were cold when they arrived. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she was very apologetic, but the manager interrupted and basically shouted at us that they were sides and they'd come when they were ready. They did at least take the latest of the meals off the bill. Would definitely not go to Wagamama again, but not this location. Updated from previous review on 2017-11-13"
"Well…. where do I begin? First of all, there were 5 of us, and one member of our party was served 20 minutes before the rest, feeling ashamed to be eating alone in-front of the rest of us. Though we understand this happens from time to time, the wait for the rest of the food was painstaking… and we didn’t even receive the correct food when it eventually arrived. The 15 year old vegetarian in our party ordered vegetable gyozas, with no traces of chilli, however we were not only shocked when we saw chilli, but suspicious about the gyozas. They were the wrong colour, so we asked the server if they were vegetable, and immediately they told us they contained chicken, after she had already eaten 2 unknowing. You can imagine how awful she felt for this, having been veggie for many years. We were grateful to receive money off our order, but this experience was dreadful."
