"My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant tonight and ordered the squid balls and beef steamed buns, which were both decent but not outstanding. Unfortunately, the bun part of the steamed buns was cold. For our main dishes, my girlfriend ordered a chicken noodle bowl and I ordered a pork noodle bowl, but neither were worth the price. The chicken noodle bowl was bland and my girlfriend couldn't eat much of it because it made her feel sick. The broth and noodles just didn't taste right. My pork noodle bowl also lacked flavor and was bland. We ended up not eating much of our mains, but our waiter Adam was kind and helped us get a refund for one of the noodle bowls. Despite this, we probably won't be returning to eat here again, as our first experience was much better."

The food at this restaurant is consistently incredible. I especially enjoy the complimentary green tea. The atmosphere of the restaurant is authentic and inviting.

I absolutely adore Wagamama. They offer a wide range of delectable dishes on the menu, including my favorites like fried rice, katsu curry, and some delicious dry noodle options.

In summary, I have visited this restaurant regularly and I enjoy the food, although it may not be authentic Japanese cuisine. However, I find the waitstaff to be overly attentive.

This was our first time at Wagamama’s. Came for lunch with my wife, my daughter who works there and her partner. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was Absolutely amazing. I had the prawn raisukaree chilli squid side. The service was superb. Jordan was great and super friendly. Highly recommend and we will definitely return. View menu

Nice food, but service average. A few days ago we visited the Yard and thought we would give Wagamama a go not having tried it before. The food as I said was nice, however the service was very limited. We were sat outside and used the app to order. Food turned up in random order and a good 5 minutes before the first main and last.

Fantastic venue in the William Yard. We were visiting Plymouth from our home in Cornwall. Immaculate venue. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Cannot fault the staff. Just have an issue with the food, it is simply not great, decidedly average. Had a range of meals across the family and all was very average. Great venue, fantastic staff, very average food.

Have had mixed experience in here over the years, with indifferent and inattentive service HOWEVER tonight Sat 10th June we were amazed with the service from Charlie she was interested, charming, fresh and professional. Thank you so much Charlie!! The food is always good here but tonight, you shined though with your great care and fun service. Bravo! Wagga’s keep hiring people like this please x View menu

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I have visited several wagamama locations over the years and all have been wonderful, especially accommodating for those with gluten allergies and egg sensitivities. However, this particular branch is my favorite. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful, especially when it comes to allergies. The food is consistently delicious. I will definitely be returning.

I ordered steak chilli ramen for delivery this evening. It arrived within the estimated time and was still nice and hot. Unfortunately it didn't taste that nice. The steak was chewy and ramen noodles all clumped together, stodgy with an unusual taste. I was disappointed having ordered the chilli chicken ramen quite some time ago and it was delicious. Maybe you need to eat in the restaurant if you want consistentcy

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
