"Ordered roll with bacon and black pudding and since I am vegetarian I ordered a scrambled egg roll. When our order arrived the black pudding was on top of my scrambled egg instead of with the bacon. I told the waiter who brought our food to the table about the mix up, he duly took it away, apologised and returned two minutes later with the same rolls but the black pudding moved to the bacon roll. A chef should know, after explaining I don’t eat meat, that this is not a solution. The remains of the black pudding was clear for anyone to see. I was offered a replacement but I declined and the cost of my roll removed from the bill. We have visited the Pavilion many times since it opened but clearly a chef needs to pay attention to vegetarian/vegan requirements. This practice is not acceptable in an establishment such as this. I would recommend the Pavilion to other people this was just a most unfortunate situation."

"We went for afternoon tea. The service was good, and there was a good quantity of sandwiches and scones, but the cakes were a little uninspiring. Even with a 241 offer, it still came to £70 for 2 with a glass of champagne. There are better teas for better value, and the surroundings, despite the live music (hidden behind a pillar for most diners) are not fantastic. It feels very much like the breakfast room in a corporate hotel, rather than a special afternoon treat place."

"Gladly giving one gold star to Pizza Italia, because as a last resort it was better than a pot noodle. Truly bad food ordered through Just Eat, but gotta admire the audacity of the delivery driver asking for an extra fiver when he arrived with the order. Particularly liked the option to select a single salad item to accompany my cremated parm. Opted for the white cabbage, which was soggy enough to balance the dryness of the chicken. On second thoughts, I should've stuck with the Bombay Bad Boy."

"Not the easiest place to find, but an absolute pearl when you do. The inside is very clean, modern in styling and welcoming. From our experience, the service from the start was attentive, friendly and quick, but without being overpowering. The quality of the food was superb delivered in good time, fresh and hot. And above all it was very tasty. The selection of wines is also a plus point. Overall a great experience and we won't hesitate to go back. Highly recommended. Be aware that parking is very limited."

"We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The service and staff were fantastic. The only issue we encountered was that the menu online was different from the one we received at the table. This discrepancy should be addressed, as other customers have also mentioned the same issue. Despite this, we will definitely return as it was a great spot for a pre-theater dinner and the prices were very reasonable. Thank you again."

"Deliveroo again. Flavours are amazing! Vegan chicken, Caesar salad, which I really enjoyed. I chose the carbonara pizza as I saw on another review that it was highly recommended, I can also highly recommend it really amazing flavours and I had additional mushrooms and garlic on mine. Another year passed, I had more deliverys from here. I opted for the blue cheese and roasted pear pizza which was spicy with chilli oil and cold courgetti with pesto and sun dried tomato, both excellent. Next night I had the ceasar salad again (still good), mac and cheese and roasted cheesy potatoes. Everything was excellent. One of my favs! Updated from previous review on 2023-01-11"

"Having never quite been convinced by the menu and decor to ever entertain an evening out at Missoula, it came as a welcome surprise how wonderful the new occupier of the premises is proving to be. The bustling Friday trade did not slow the service...and we received a mouthwatering array of small plates and a sharing platter more than ample for our group of three. I highly recommend the small plates the selection of five provides a lip smacking variety of dishes ranging from cauliflower wings (delightful) to arancini balls and burnt beef ends. Actually also a fan of the sharing platter with chicken wings, chicken strips, onion rings, chips, roast, medley of sauces and sausage. "We have been previously and loved it but this time we were greeted by Vicky Pollard (I think she was a supervisor or just had an air of importance with no customer service skills) and poor service from her followed. The other members of staff were slow but pleasant at least. Our drinks sat on the bar for 30 minutes before being sent over to us. It was also too much trouble for “Ms Pollard” to ask chef for pizza with no pesto. To be honest we could have put up with slow service and the reserved table being a bit grubby upon arrival but the young woman’s attitude “Ms Pollard” just left a bad impression."
