"We were the only guests (4) in the whole restaurant on a very quiet Sunday afternoon. We had booked in advance for afternoon tea. Our dietary requirements had been acknowledged and the tea was reflective of this so this was good. There were 3 members of staff working at this time, however, every time we were running low on tea, milk, cream etc, we had to get up from our table and go to find a member of staff and ask them to replenish. They weren’t busy or very attentive. Two weeks from Christmas and the conservatory we were eating in had no festive feel to it, no background music and was cool in temperature. We noticed the adjoining dining room was laid ready for breakfast the next morning and had a lovely Christmas tree so it was a shame we couldn’t have been in there. The food itself was standard although a nod to the festive season was included with a mini mince pie."

"Absolutely shocked how bad the menu is since we last came. It’s like they’ve reduced the amount on offer hugely. My wife is vegan due to dairy and egg allergy. There was literally one option on the entire menu “pasta with tomato sauce” like a kids menu. So we left and went to Ask who had plenty of options. We used to enjoy Carluccios but if that’s the menu we won’t be back. Whoever designs the menu needs a serious word with themself. Other chain restaurants can do it. Such a suprise and such a shame"

"The Wagamama restaurant in Reading is in a good location close to the Oracle. The place itself was ok but the music was too loud and the atmosphere reminded me of school cafeterias. They have a vegan and gluten-free menu although only one dish was gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan. The quality of the food is good and very fresh. Unfortunately, our table wasn’t cleaned before we were placed so we had to sit next to a lonely shrimp, in addition we weren’t given cutlery for the soup-like curry nor was the staff properly trained to serve wine and drinks. In a nutshell: ok but nothing special or remarkable about this place."

"Having made a booking via OpenTable and receiving a confirmation email, 24 hours later had a phone call from Browns to say they could offer me a table at 5pm or 9pm but not at 7pm which was the time of my booking. No apologies just that the way it is. OpenTable just blamed Browns and said I could always phone the restaurant to confirm a booking, not seeing the ridiculousness of that suggestion as it renders their platform to irrelevance. So I am giving an all round one star, but to be clear we did not eat there."

"I received a call from the moniker 1 hour before our booking for 6 for christmas lunch informed me that they did not provide tables and would not confirm the booking of opentable. they mentioned that they had problems with opentable in the past and while they were very sorry that the inconvenience had nothing to do to make the right. it is obvious that the attempt to find a table for 6 during the holiday is near impossible, but I am pleased to report that the corn exchange on 1 minster court was friendly, courteous and able to create a place for us. I would highly recommend to take their business there and stay as far away from the moniker as possible."

"Popped in for some supper before going to see a show (wicked). We were tight for time and needed prompt service. Our waiter was nice, helpful and assured us that we had enough time to order and finish our meals before heading off for the show. WE ordered drinks, fish and chips x 2, a salad and babotie spring rolls. The dishes were served pretty quickly, food was fresh and good quality. Service was excellent, Its a nice place. We will try again when visiting the area."

"Wandering around Soho we walked by Le Pain and decided to give it a try looks nice from the outside with all these bread put forward on display. Ordered some house Chardonney with olives to start with and then Pizzetta, Organic Lentil Avocado Salad and Prosciutto with Mozzarella on toast. All really good. House wine excellent for house wine category, olives with some spicy flavour, salad was fairly reach (variety of veggies inside), ham was tasty and only pizzetta could have been, perhaps, a bit warmer... "I don't usually write reviews, but I had to share my experience at The Badger. The service was extraordinary and the food was of great quality. There are many good options on the menu, even though it can be a bit on the pricey side. However, the delicious food makes it worth the cost. I must commend the staff for their exceptional service, especially on Thursday, November 23rd, when they had to handle a verbally abusive group near us. Despite the difficult situation, the staff remained professional and provided excellent service. I hope the management recognizes their efforts on that night. The verbally abusive group was incredibly rude and should reconsider their behavior. There are plenty of vegetarian options available for both vegans and vegetarians at this restaurant."

"This place was so wholesome and warm immediately on arrival. Me and my friend both ans lunch, she had a gluten free bagel, I had a chicken wrap. Mine was so tasty and succulent, she expressed hers to be flavoursome and moreish. Food was delivered hot and promptly to our tables. Whilst overall the staff were all great, everyone made us feel welcome and pretty much everyone engaged in a conversation at some point. Haddy was particularly friendly and helpful, and nothing felt to much from him. All in all great service, great atmosphere and great food. Would definitely recommend for wholesome quick bite to eat ."

"I thought the service was first class and you were made to feel comfortable from the moment you sat down. The food was delicious and perfectly presented. "We have been seated at the coldest table next to the Window , close to the kitchen. It was my mums birthday and we did make staff aware of it. Nobody have done check back when we had our starters which were not the greatest....We have waited for mains over an hour, nobody gave us cutlery after we had our starters , we were have to request. When we did that , the girl with dark blonde hair rolled her eyes on us. My mums majito was most of it ice , she couldn’t drink it , we asked for another one instead with no ice and in a smaller glass. The manager ignored our request and bought a drink to the table in the same long glass with full of soda that my mum couldn’t taste alcohol. The noice level was way to high the chefs were shouting and constantly complaining that none of the staff taking food. The entire our service was spoiled. Additionally, nobody asked us if we have any allergies. My brother had a burger with a spicy mustard which is not specified in a menu, myself I am allergic to spicy. Theoretically I could of been the one who tried the burger to check if child’s food is warm. They lucky that I didn’t. over , neither the waitress or the manager haven’t introduced themselves to us and it makes sense now. Overall , we wouldn’t recommend the place. Too pricy for a horrible service."

"We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday at Wildwood with the whole family. We had a party of 24 and reserved the private dining room. The service was exceptional from the moment we booked until we left. Andy and Sylvie went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. I want to give a shoutout to our waiter, Sam, who provided attentive and excellent service despite his young age. My only suggestion is to offer more vegan options as the selection is limited. However, I did enjoy the vegan lasagne which was delicious. I look forward to returning. Thank you for making my daughter's birthday celebration so special."

"this was our second visit and the standard of the food has decreased considerably. we had the same as before, the smokeys platter. the ribs were hard and overlooked. the brisket dry and chicken leg bland. the black rate was the best on the plate. the plate was also smaller than before. the service was not present, we had to ask for cutlery for our eating. we were not asked how our food was or we wanted more drinks etc....the atmosphere was very quiet. we could hardly hear behindground music. Unfortunately we won't come back, we were a group of six couples."

"A group of ten of us went here last night for our work evening out. First impressions were good the place looked really nice, and it was packed (not so good if you are into any kind of social distancing). However, once we were seated for dinner next to the main bar area, it became apparent from the incredibly loud dance music that this was not going to be an evening of easy conversation. I like to think that a basic requirement of going to dinner is that I can enjoy some conversation but that was far too much to hope for. It was like being in the middle of a nightclub or bar where to have to really shout and strain to hear someone. Things got so bad that the waitress simply could not hear me to take my order. When my colleague 's order came it was completely wrong which was no surprise. We asked for their music to be turned down several times but that was just not possible by the looks of things because of the huge bar area next to us that they cared about more. Overall, the food was good, but the evening was totally ruined by the stupidly loud nightclub music. I do not exaggerate when I say that several of us left with sore throats and lost voices. If the management is reading this then I don 't want a stock robotic reply underneath we are very sorry to hear that....... kind of response because we made it clear that the music was stupidly loud several times. The next time I want to sit and eat in the middle of a nightclub then I 'll just go to Pret for a sandwich and just take it into the middle of the dancefloor of my local. It 'll be a lot cheaper for sure."

"Service was slow, however very polite, food seemed processed and turkey looked like sliced from the butcher so thin, meat was not a slice of steak was mushed excess pieces moulded together into a round mould and cold. also Cranachan was just mush like thick yoghurt with porridge oats through it? That was a major shock and in a soup bowl? Def need to check the recipe on this, one chipolata too. All food was just warm nothing special. Christmas menu yet no crackers? No one asked if we enjoyed our meal even when the dessert wasn’t eaten"

"We drove an hour to get there, it was well worth it. I'm assured the steak and the lobster were excellent, and my fish was superb. The menu was well thought out, not a big range but a sufficient variety to suit most tastes. Waiting times were of that length where you're not wondering where your food has gone, nor worried it was hurried. Probably a nice view out to sea during the day...(evening visit, dark out) Yes. Go. Also, the alcohol free IPA was surprisingly ok."

"All the staff was so lovely, I booked for a bottomless brunch (thought I did anyway) but turns out I hadn’t and staff sorted it all out for me, the service was amazing, they waited on hand and foot for everyone. The food was smashing and the quality and quantity was great."
