"We ordered our main courses and requested a side of steamed seasonal vegetables. Unfortunately, just like our previous visit, we were informed that the steamed vegetables were not available. We weren't keen on any of the other side dishes, so we asked if the chef could prepare a vegetable option that accommodated my wife's food intolerance. I mentioned that I could change my main course order if the appropriate vegetables weren't available.
However, our server didn't return to inform us about what the chef could prepare, and soon after, our food arrived. It was a delicious meal featuring pasta, mushrooms, and some additional ingredients. We were also pleasantly surprised with a generous portion of potatoes, which we were told would not be charged.
The main dish was abundant and very tasty. I also had dessert, a cheesecake that was excellent and served in a large portion. During the billing, I insisted on paying for the dessert. Both the server and the chef went out of their way to accommodate our requests, and they did a fantastic job. We genuinely appreciate their efforts, although we still would have preferred the steamed vegetables that were listed on the menu!
Overall, it was a very good experience, and we are definitely looking forward to dining there again."
