"I ordered her dessert special. the amount was fair enough, but I'm sorry a dessert shop can't make a perfect caffeine. there was a caffeine with loads of earthy and banan on it certainly I say again that the amount was good enough for people to enjoy, but yes my care is waffel! the caffeine should be crusty and crispy from outside when they chew it, the inner should melt in its mouth. it should be so soft. what I got was a very gum-like caffeine. very elastic very rubbery. some of the bananas were muddy, they should be discarded. I'm disappointed. I really wish they worked on their caffeine recipe."

"the personal was nice, the restaurant was only 1 empty table occupied, we had some difficult things to explain zöliakie, and initially a meal that would then say 2 pages would be missing. because they were not necessary, there were many foods and it tasted amazing. the restaurant stayed all night and an extensive menu. a beautiful evening"

"This is the original and always been the best kebab shop in Aberdeen. Been going there since 1983, 84 i think when it opened. Used many times in my younger days after being suitably refreshed out in the town. It is and always will be the only kebab shop i will use. Ordering online is great and delivery is fast. The doner bursa is my favourite and no one can do it better."

"On our last visit to the Ashmolean we found that the basement café was under refurbishment and a member of the staff said that the restaurant was serving coffee and cakes . The only cake available at the time was scone. It turned out that they only had cheese scone and these came with jam and cream!!! We said this was odd so gave back the jam and cream and asked for more butter. The waitress was surprised, she obviously had an odd palate. So we had this and was drinking our coffee when a waiter came along and took our plates immediately we had each finished our scone and then the cup almost before we had drunk the last drop. Obviously hustling us to leave. He was then surprised when I refused to pay the service charge!! As a regular to the Ashmolean I suggest that some serious staff training should be carried out."

"A good pub with good food, me and my family went there becouse we wanted to eat tapas. The tapas meny was excellet, good value for money and lots to choose from. "Being a local, it's great having a dessert place nearby. The major positive is that the food is actually pretty great but the poor customer service and very stingy portion sizes take away from it's appeal. I ordered brownies with chocolate recently costing around £7, the chocolate provided was a tiny shot glass worth which wasn't enough for the brownies given. I asked whether I could get more chocolate, even offered to pay for a chocolate shot £2 more) but instead got turned away and was told if I wanted more chocolate, I'd have to buy the whole dessert again. You'd think they could spare a bit more chocolate for a customer of 2 years. I now go to Heavenly Desserts whose food is just as good and far better portion sizes. Service is far superior too."

"The food was perfectly cooked I ordered the carbonara and the sauce was rich enough and the dish overall was seasoned well. Not only this but the tiramisu I had for dessert that came after was great. I would definitely come here again, but the waitress who served us definitely needs training. Upon arriving, she did not acknowledge my friend’s booking for 4 but at least still sat us down somewhere. Dinner service was busy so the delays were understandable, but when it came to handling the bill she kept insisting we paid by a certain split even though we calculated it for her because it would be easier for her. Not only this but she took away things on the table we needed (e.g. a wine glass and a menu for the fourth person who came late, although they had already visibly arrived). As a someone who has worked as a waitress, I understand she was trying but still, some more patience would have been nice and was the only thing I had to raise about the restaurant. More professional service needed for a place with such great food…"

"Mt wife wanted to treat me to brunch on Husband Appreciation Day so we went to Pier Masters. Unfortunately we waited 20+ plus to be served so we left and decided to try The Boat House. We had a lovely friendly welcome and advised it was table service and they would be right with us and they were!! Great service and drinks brought over quickly. Food arrived shortly after which was well presented, only slight issue was the poached eggs were slightly over done but still very tasty and we will definitely return again rathe than go up the road. Beautiful setting and lovely to be able to sit outside."

"A very unimaginative menu. Lamb stew, fish and chips, hamburger. All things a moderate cook can prepare at home. Certainly not ‘creative cuisine’. A tasty shrimp starter but not a classic Potted Shrimp. This was explained, but why not call it what it is? Shrimp with onions and herbs. I chose fish and chips. Fish good, chips good, baked on plate one dollop of pea purée, not good. Partner had ‘grey’ duck. Uninspiring. Come on. Look through some cook books. People won’t mind paying the money if it’s imaginative, well cooked and served hot."

"No doubt their lamb Sharwarma and sautéed liver is a show stopper here. It's BYOB, Chefs, and Staff are very attentive, a very nice ambience (warm, clean, and cosy). What more can you ask for... the price? Very reasonable! It's £7-8.00 for their lunch menu offer (12 -4 pm) so you can taste the good food for yourselves. I've been eating here for three years or more, I think, and the standards of quality are well maintained. See you tomorrow, guys!"
