"The only disappointment was where we were seated: people were standing behind us and kept knocking into our chairs because they were very drunk. Perhaps they should seat people who are eating separately from those who are drinking. I had to speak to them to ask them to stop knocking into our chairs. The waitress was amazing, although I didn't catch her name. She kept asking if we wanted our drinks refilled so we didn't have to go to the bar. The food was absolutely outstanding."

"We came for lunch on a Sunday quite early and ordered one Chicken Shawarma, x 4 Sweet Potato Fries, Cookie Dough Bonanza and Kunefe. 5mins later the waiter says don't have any of the desserts we asked for or the Chicken Shawarma so we said we'll take 4 drinks and fries, another 5mins later a different waitress came to inform us they didn't have any sweet potato fries, eventually we cancelled all the food as they couldn't give us what we originally came for to order. We drank our drinks in an empty restaurant (I wonder why) and the floors were sticky on the way to the restroom. This place used to be great hence why we came today only be let down by the low standards that have befallen this place. They could of got the sweet potato fries from Home Bargain next door, it would be understanable if it was near closing time. Did the cook not inform the waiter/waitresses what wasn't available to order beforehand? Just made them look clueless"

"Went for wings Wednesday with a few work friends. Arrived at the location and shown to our table. Took 15 minutes for our first round of drinks to arrive after ordering with staff. This was because the only waitress on duty was having a chat with the kitchen staff out of sight and forgetting customers. There was only my group and 2 other tables so not a busy day. Had to wait 25 to 30 mins for food once ordered. When I ask the chef if the waitress was still working or was she on part time hours and gone home. I was told to be quiet and sit down and order with the waitress who was never around. The chef was very rude and aggressive. I could then hear the staff including the waitress Kat in the kitchen being disrespectful about the group and myself. I was then approached by Kat and challenged in an aggressive manner. My first brew dog experience. Safe to say I won’t be going back to any branch if is what brew dog is all about."

"This is the first time I've ever visited one of these restaurants, it seemed a good option to choose when we were out with our daughter. We ordered her a kids meal, which was completely free as we were ordering an adult meal too. This is brilliant, and just the sort of things parents need more of! Our daughter's food also came first, and wasn't scalding hot like most other places. That's not to say it was cold, not by any means. It was ideal and it meant that we all finished near enough at the same time, not us sat there waiting for our daughter to finish! I had the Chicken Katsu noodles, which was delicious. I couldn't fault it! My partner had a Smoky Joe burger and he also enjoyed it. Our daughter's meal was fish fingers, with chips and beans which she loved. Plus she got a drink and a dessert too, (she chose Vanilla ice cream , and with it being free it was even better! The staff were mostly very good, but looked a little flustered. Needless to say, it was fairly busy, but we were not kept waiting! Improvements I would suggest would be a bigger restaurant, more people will definitely come! I will definitely visit here again! "staff just did not want to be there. they didn’t know how to work the heaters, couldnt decide where to put the host stand, looked at us funny when we asked a question about the menu. the decorations outdoors were nice but inside was dark and dreary. food was mediocre, the french toast was good but cost around £13, they brought out one small piece of toast. the egg burger was just average, just a brioche bun with scrambled eggs with a few green chillies sprinkled around inside the egg. no garnish, no side, nothing to make it special. absolutely not worth it for the price."

"Went for lunch with my wife mum. It was really busy, but we’ll staffed and friendly service. All 3 of us had different mains, Truffle Gorgonzola burger for me(Well cooked and tasty) My mum had the Risotto, wife the Sea food Ravioli and both thought their food was delicious. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious and the lemon meringue cake was loved by my wife. A very pleasant experience and we’ll be going back soon."

"The staff is very friendly at this restaurant and they are attentive to customers' needs. The food was well-prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. We were impressed by how quickly our food arrived when we mentioned we were very hungry. However, the dessert we ordered, the Mexican mezcal, was described to have celestial nectar and earthberry yogurt, but these elements were missing from the dessert we received. It also should have been served in a cinnamon tortilla basket, but there was no cinnamon present. The waitress apologized for this and removed the dessert from our bill. It was strange that the kitchen left so much out of one dish, perhaps due to a new cook. However, the waitstaff was pleasant and accommodating. Overall, the dining experience was fantastic for the price."

"Went to Fuego last night, one of our favourite haunts and it wasn’t great. Sat at the bar with my wife and daughter and it took 20 minutes to get a drink 20 minutes. We very nearly walked out. Starters were fine but our main order arrived sporadically, broccoli first, 3 mins later a couple more plates and 5 mins later the patatas bravos ridiculous. 3 people and £170 we spent less at the Ivy last week, where the service was fantastic and we had a memorable meal. "Wasn’t overly impressed. Sweet potato fries and husbands skinny fries both seemed really greasy. Bread for a nibble at for four thin dry slices of bread seemed excessive. As was for small pieces of pork in an overly greasy tampura batter. Steak wasn’t the best I’ve had and came with half a mushroom!! Didn’t have dessert as didn’t want to spend any more!! Wouldn’t come back. Water jug was stainless steel and seemed dirty and water stained."

"This was our first visit to a Spanish restaurant, La Paella Tapas Bar, after searching for a few months. The atmosphere was beautiful and cozy, complemented by lovely music. I really enjoyed the tapas and the warm bread. The paella was simply delicious, and we finished everything on our plates. Miguel was very friendly and interacted with all his customers. "I discovered Amigos about three years ago and have eaten there or taken food away on several occasions. I loved the food. After a break of about a year, I went in yesterday and was quite disappointed: the food is completely different from what I remember, unremarkable and very disappointing. I have had better taste and flavours in frozen meals from Farmfoods. Clearly, the kitchen staff (I wouldn't go as far as to call them chefs! have changed but sadly, all good things about the food that I remember and felt attracted to, have gone too. I will not go there again."

"We have frequented here often when we visit Edinburgh and it’s only fair to give a review when you are satisfied as people are too quick to complain. We went in early, me and my partner and I ordered a burrito and my partner ordered a quesadilla. The young girl who was serving was unsure about the quesadilla as she must have just started and the male worker was supportive and guided her well. She was very pleasant and welcoming and the male worker packed a mean burrito and he was also polite. The staff are always lovely in here. The burrito was amazing. Their shredded beef is outstanding. They were serving whilst managing loads of online deliveries and just multitasking on a busy New Year’s day at ease with a smile. This shop is a credit to the Bar Burrito franchise."

"When entering, we sat under tables full of family members who walk over each other so that I and my partner were unable to speak a lot as we could not hear. We then got a menu that was just a small selection of dishes and not where on the site said it would be a set dinner. Then we ordered our food that appeared forever and our drinks were forgotten. Our starters arrived after 20 minutes and they were small but beautiful. I ordered a steak and my partner ordered the fish, we got a bowl of veg and potatoes to share when it said that our meals did not come to share with potatoes and veg and then they charged us £162!!!!!! I couldn't believe it!! The food was nice, but the overall experience and the price was a massive decline for New Year's Eve."

"Stayed overnight with dinner and breakfast the following morning. Lovely friendly welcome on arrival and a fabulously quirky room in the roof space. Dinner was delicious as was the accompanying beer and wine. The following morning and it would have been rude not to have the full English. Another delicious meal and set us up for the day. Chef and Mrs Chef run a great pub/restaurant with rooms. Why stay in a boring modern box when there is somewhere like this to stay."
