"Booked a table for dinner, three people. And I have never left a restaurant so fast, this place shouldn't even be called a restaurant to be honest. It's more like a bar/nightclub. No one cared to ask us if we're ready to order and it was very hard to get any attention as all the staff cared for is the party at the back. We were really hungry, waited 30 min and when it finally arrived it wasn't a proper meal. The shared platter that my boyfriend ordered was the only decent amount of food out of the three orders. The atmosphere would have been nice if it wasn't for a group of people entering the place constantly trying to build a DJ booth at the back. We were seated by the very doors with uncomfortable chairs and a really low table. Ended up going to McDonald's at the end. This place is a waste of time and money unless you want the bar experience. So, if your looking for a place to have dinner, this place isn't it."

Amazing dishes on the tapas menu but be warned portions are enormous. ....not complaining it was so tasty and they do special offers mid week so definitely recommend you check it out.

Visited Sat 8th April. Great atmosphere, lovely welcome and nice cocktails. Incredible tapas, the best we've had. A very trendy place to be but felt very comfortable even though we were a bit older. Fabulous place, loved it. Thank to all staff for being fantastic at your jobs. View menu

Husband had booked us in for our anniversary dinner, especially looking forward to their Tapas. On arrival (it was a Thursday evening), the place was very quiet, and we were told that there was no food being served today. We ended up having a pint and a cocktail. Hubby was happy with his beer, however I was left disappointed with my cocktail, the glass being half-full and the cocktail not at all tasking like it was supposed to be. We are debating if we will give Market House another try.

What a fantastic wine and tapas bar hidden in saffron walden essex….staff are polite, welcoming and attentive, the food is just so good something for everyone, beautifully presented, the atmosphere is perfect for business lunches or ladies that lunch, the do takeaway coffees and foid also, , and in the evenings and weekends there is always something on, music wise, or drag bingo even painting tuition.., the6 create either a happy day time atmosphere or vibrant night time up beat mode….really is the place to be in saffron walden you won’t be disappointed , fir a great time, parties of all sizes catered for, love it
