"Sarnies is my favourite place to stop for a bit of lunch or breakfast in coventry. I work all over coventry, so I do try many other places, but Sarnies is my favourite. The service is good and the prices are very reasonable. There is never much of a wait, and the food is always bang on. Whenever im in the area, i always swing by and grab something. "overall a good experience. we were happy with everything, but we had to wait for 30 minutes. it was very busy, but a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. the food was good and we didn't have to wait long as we had our order. some problems with the bill at the end of the experience. we were not aware that the prices of 11 o'clock change as they were not notified to us. but the manager gave us 20% for the inconvenience."

"This pub is amazing. Raff is always welcoming even when the restaurant is really busy and we don't take this for granted. The food was really good as usual and we cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are looking for a place to eat or to spend time with friends or family, go for it!"

"We have had multiple brunches at this restaurant and they have all been excellent! The pancakes are delicious, as well as the eggs with hashbrowns. Smiley face."

"We walked in with a party of 8 at 10p and the restaurant was empty. The kitchen was about to close at 10:30. Despite this, all of the wait staff was very polite and accommodating. They took our orders quickly and our meals were put on the table in short order. The food was hot and delicious. We were very thankful and would like the staff to know it!!!"

"The food was outstanding! We started with the pâté, which was delightful, and the pork belly was gorgeous—cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The service was top-notch; we were made to feel very welcome, and both the waiter and the maître d' checked on us after every course. Surprisingly, the restaurant was quite empty, which is understandable for a Tuesday, but considering its central London location, it was a bit unusual. While this made the atmosphere feel somewhat lackluster, we actually enjoyed the peacefulness. I would definitely recommend this place! Before dinner, we also had drinks at the bar, where the cocktails were fantastic."

"My wife and I had dinner here using a Groupon voucher £49 for three courses each and a glass of either Prosecco or Aperol Spritz). It was a set menu but still plenty to choose from. Some higher-end dishes attracted a surcharge but this wasn’t excessive. The restaurant itself is pleasant enough. Standard hotel restaurant decor. The staff were extremely welcoming and provided excellent service. The food wasn’t much to write home about though sadly. Lovely hot bread was served with our Prosecco which was in a beautiful glass it must be said). Starters were the best course. I had salt and pepper squid with a chilli jam which was very good and my wife had cauliflower and keens cheddar soup which was served with a big cheesy croutons which she loved. I opted to pay a surcharge for the rib eye steak for main course which I asked for rare. Now I expect rare to be hot and seared on the outside whilst still **** in the middle. What I got was a just about lukewarm grey piece of meat which, the fat of which had not been rendered so was still like jelly. Inside the meat was dry and on the blue side of rare. It wasn’t particularly tasty I don’t think it has been seasoned before cooking) and certainly wasn’t ****. I regularly cook steak at home and sear and seal it on a hot griddle pan so that it has a nice char but it is still juicy inside. It’s easily done. For pudding I had the lemon tart with clotted cream which was average. My wife had date pudding essentially sticky toffee pudding) which was dry but sitting on a pool of sickeningly sweet sauce. Again, average. It was an enjoyable experience in general for the money paid but not somewhere I’d return to in a hurry or pay full price for."

"open on a Sunday that is so populated for brunch, boiled eggs perfect, but beans were a little watery and loaded with mushrooms -can with a bit of a variety on the veg in the veg fry up. Sausage was baked moshee by veg in kartoffeln with not much texture - could do with a better veg sausage. hash brown was perfect, but I would have liked two instead of so much toast/moushrooms. orange juice was super freshly squeezed and amazing. will be back to try other menu options - see a lively place with native."

"we both found the dessert the highlight of our meal and remembered our school days. we have both decided for the heavenly ripple chocolate mousse, which was absolutely heavenly. I loved celestial nasty as a child and from any inexplicable reason had forgotten his existence in the last decades or something. the sweet celestial taste, which was cut through the chocolate, was divine and had both of us in raptures."

"I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while having lunch with friends and have been hooked ever since. The Moscow mule crafted by Ruggiero is phenomenal. Andrea and the entire staff are always friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and plentiful, the prices are reasonable, and the location in Porta Venezia is a bonus. The standout feature of this place is the daily specials, which are always changing and never boring. My daughter, who adores pak choi and found it in one of the specials, always insists on coming back for more! I highly recommend this restaurant to friends, as everyone has left satisfied. Great job, guys! Sofia and Juan"

"I recently had lunch at this restaurant and was very impressed. The price per person ranged between £20-£30. The food was excellent, I would give it a 5 out of 5. The service was also top-notch, receiving another 5 out of 5 rating. The atmosphere was quite nice, scoring a 4 out of 5. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would highly recommend this restaurant for a meal."

"Great location, tucked away in Liverpool Street. Lively bar scene, with a great outdoor area. There was an initial mix up with the booking as Open Table was listing table availability that did not match with actual availability at the venue; I would recommend calling ahead to confirm your OT booking with the restaurant itself to avoid confusion. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly despite this, working to accommodate our booking request anyway. We received prompt service throughout the evening, despite how busy it was on the Bank Holiday. Food and drinks were great quality at a fair price. Would recommend and would return."

"This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. On New Year's Eve, there were only four of us in the restaurant—until another group of four very unhappy guests arrived. The loud rock music from the bar was completely inappropriate for the setting. Despite the stressed and apologetic waitress and our efforts to have it turned down, nothing changed. The atmosphere was completely lacking, so we tried to make the best of it by turning off the lights and enjoying our fairly decent meal by candlelight. We were eager to leave this disappointing place, so we skipped dessert and coffee. The starters and main courses were fine, but overall, it was quite a letdown."

"I was very excited to try the famous cipriani restaurant. my mother was a regular customer a few years ago and she spoke so much of it, remembered both the eating and the staff in so detail and had even met the owner who sounded. very friendly and kept his facility on a very high standard. the eating was average, absolutely overpriced and she was shocked to see the difference in the service between now and then, and I was extremely disappointed by the behavior of the waiter on our table. we were asked to wait for our table, although our friend had mobility problems and they were aware of it. the atmosphere was quite loud, as the waiter took our order, he had to lean on to hear what we said was perfect. when I ordered, I was sure that the appetiser, but thought it right, first a question about the risotto of the day and the other pornstar I was interested in, and one of the two was the same question asked another person of our table. he replied that the dame has already asked me the same question and I just replied sorry, I could not listen to her conversation, although I had no obligation to say that or do that. when he explained, I told him the court that I had decided and then moved on to order my appetit to which he asked, this is her main course, I answered no, I would like this as my appetizer, to which he replied they always begin from top to bottom, never from bottom to top meaning they never start from their main and then order their appetizer. this was said in such a repulsive and aggressive way that I was actually shocked, but he quickly moved to the next person and I thought it was best to leave. my friend looked at the weeping list and asked if they had a certain whisky to which he answered no, we did not. if they were the whisky menu, not the wine menu that he disappeared and never brought, we had to ask another waitress who kindly informs us that they actually have it and brought us the whisky list themselves. when everyone had the appetit, he brought me the wrong one. I told him politely that this was not the praised court that I had ordered to answer that this is the one you showed me in such an rude tone and resurrected. that is impossible, because the court I showed him was the one he brought me to the menu. the cherry above was the fact that he did not remove the wrong appetit from the bill and I had to ask to remove it. this is absolutely unacceptable for such an expensive restaurant that has long been here. I will never really understand what such people are right to behave on these wise and how management allows this. this is the only reason why no one is visited by our table again and it is really a scandal in view of its long history. ps: we found out this morning that they put rest of another table in the Takeaway bag we demanded. this device is really the epitome of catastrophe and a spirit of pastness!"

"The Study Room is a bar and restaurant offering a good selection of vegan options and Manager David was extremely helpful as regards my enquiries about allergy requirements and assured me which dishes I could have. We ordered pitta bread and dips to start, which as it turned out was a good decision, because the main courses were good sized portions. The houmous, guacamole and salsa were delicious mopped up with pitta bread and we demolished it quickly, as we only had a vegan Magnum for lunch, as the weather was scorching and we did not feel hungry. Main courses were a vegan chilli hot dog for hubby and falafel and spinach burger, both served with chunky chips. We could not fault either dish, they were substantial and satisfying, the burger was moist and tasty, with lashings of sriracha and hubby loved his hot dog covered in melted cheese, although we failed to finish all the chunky chips, but not for the want of trying. I was impressed with The Study Room and would definitely make a return visit, when I make my next trip to Lancaster. Highly recommended."

"was treated to a late birthday meal here by my better half. we arrived slightly early and were shown to the bar area to sit in comfort for a pre dinner drink with apologies for our table not being quite ready (even though our fault for being early). We were then taken through to our table by a very polite and attentive waitress who gave us the time and space to make our orders. The food was as you would expect absolutely amazing and the portion size was in my mind the exact right amount (none of this micro portions). I can highly recommend the Scallops starter and the Monkfish main course. We felt the pricing was also spot on for the standard of the food and quality of service. As an additional note being an accessibility toilet user due to a condition this place has one of the BEST accessibility facilities that i have seen in a restaurant with anything and everything being catered for despite your medical condition. An amazing meal, facilities and staff and we shall certainly be returning in the future."
