"I walked past Chilango this morning and decided to try it for the first time for lunch. I got the pork belly box how utterly disappointing! Rice, with the merest handful of meat, some lettuce with black bean and chilli sauce slopped across the top, and a sprinkling of cheese. The box wasn't even filled as shown in their in store pictures (although that could be because most of the stuff being splattered across the rice never quite made it into the box). While it was tasty enough, for the princely sum of £7.95 (a tablespoon of guacamole would have been £1.50 more), it was certainly not at all worth it. Needless to say, I wont be returning... there are so many other good food places that this one can quite happily be struck off the list."

"It was ok but wouldn’t be in a rush to return. Firstly we wasn’t greeted that great was just told our table wasn’t ready so we then walked over to the bar area. Once seated we was asked about 5 times within the first ten minutes which drinks we would like to order even though we was told a drinks menu was being brought over after 15 mins we was then given a drinks menu then after ordering it took around 15 -20 mins for drinks to arrive we then ordered our starters and mains which took around 40 minutes for the starters to arrive then shortly after we were asked twice if our mains should be brought out after not even being half way through our starter dishes. Once our mains were severed shortly after we was told we had only ten mins left on the table which wasn’t correct as we still had 35 mins after speaking to 4 different waiters and proving my booking time they eventually agreed for us to have the table to the correct time which even then didn’t feel like they wanted us to because of all the rushing at this point we didnt even want to stay. I would say the food was lovely but the staff let the experience down majorly like I say it’s nice but I would be in no rush to return"

"We decided to book a table here before a gig at the Royal Concert Hall across the road. The place was clean and had interesting decor all over the walls. The staff were really welcoming and attentive. The food was a little slow because they were busy but not overly so. Worth the wait though as it was excellent, we had the Ceasar salad and the cobb salad plus some fries and the cajun onion rings. We also ordered the June Bug and Comfortabull cocktails which were absolutely delicious!"

"Visited on a Sunday lunchtime. Bit of a mixed experience. Waiting staff very friendly and obviously trying hard. Food not great, including a panacotta that was advertised as coming with a fruit sauce that turned out to be a spoonful of strawberry jam! It was taken off the bill when we complained but shouldn't have been served in the first place. Feels like an unloved outpost of the Benugo empire."

"With the ever increasing numbers of cafes and coffee houses in the Kensington area, it’s wonderful to find one that stands out, head-and-shoulders above them all. Based on Gloucester Road is the fantastic Cafe Deco, a no-frills cafe providing truly exceptional food at astonishingly low prices. There’s nothing pretentious about Cafe Deco, indeed, apart from its amazing food, it’s simplicity is its attraction. The breakfast baguettes (my personal favorites), are incredible and without doubt, the best I’ve had in London! The stamp of Cafe Deco is the quality of its award winning ingredients at amazingly low prices. And coffee for just £1.00, where else can you get that?? Cafe Deco is a true find for quality home cooked food, but I’m not alone in coming to this conclusion as the queue that frequently stretches out of the door and to the pedestrian crossing testifies. "So.... as a table of two we arrived and waited to be greeted whilst four members of staff stood around talking. Whilst two noticed us, none came to take our names and lead us to our table for almost five mins. There was only one other table seated and so it was quiet. Tables and chairs are battered and old. Ordered a cocktail to start, which took almost half an hour to arrive. When it did, the wine list and wine glasses were removed I had to ask for them to be brought back as we would probably have a glass of wine over our meal. Ordered two steaks, two sides of chips and one green beans (plus a glass of red wine . I was in tears laughing as it took three people to open the bottle of wine two staff were watching on in amazement as the third used a bottle opener. The steaks arrived on cold plates forty minutes after being ordered. And the sides did not arrive until we asked for them I could see them on the counter getting cold. The steaks were 7/10, the green beans were 9/10 but the chips were dreadful. Billed as triple cooked, I am 90% certain they were quadruple cooked and were from the previous evening but reheated. And all this for the price of £190 Awful place with the only redeeming feature being the green beans (and the cocktail was nice!"

"Update: Revisit, check. Still delicious. I would recommend for a nice cozy night. Delicious food. Friendly and professional staff, check. Efficient service, check. Good selection of comfort food, check. Quiet atmosphere, check. Allergy check, check. Five stars. It was a brilliant dinner and ribs were amazing. You have a wide range of pizza to pasta and yes burgers as well as ribs. They looked really good and delicious. I always recommend good allergy checks and the manager came by to make sure everything we ordered was safe. The service and the staff were efficient. The background music was not too loud and thanks to the social debate the restaurant was quiet. The Covid measures were good and we felt safe when eating. Overall great restaurant with delicious food. We will definitely revise."

"We were at The Ned celebrating my sons 21st birthday. He wanted to go to the brunch buffet but unfortunately it was fully booked despite trying to make a reservation weeks in advance, so, we booked the American diner instead as my son really wanted to go The Ned so I thought this would be a good compromise. Underwhelming it was. A very limited unimaginative menu and very little atmosphere. At 2pm Sunday most of the tables were empty (all in the brunch I guess) . The food was very mediocre, no better than any other burger/rib restaurant I've been to, and despite me advising in advance we were there for a special occasion nobody made an effort to make my son feel special on his birthday other than the onligatory brownie with a candle brought to the table at the end of the meal... but brought to us while he wasn't even sitting there as he'd poppedto the bathroom!! Overall very disappointing and especially more so because despite it being quiet so really no excuses, nobody went out of their way to make our experience memorable in any way. Disappointing to say the least Ned."

"Disappointing. We have had many nice meals here so was looking forward to our evening back here. First thing we were waiting mins for water and drinks which we had asked for twice. Second thing was our starters had arrived â¦ the table next to ours had already sent back their calamari starter as it wasnât cooked enough. Our calamari arrived and we asked if it could be cooked a little more so off it went never to return. My daughters starter had also arrived but as she ordered something different after mins of waiting for ours to arrive she tucked into hers. Eventually managed to track down a waitress to ask where our calamari was it turned up in takeaway boxes. Off it goes again â¦ another mins I had to again try and grab a waitresses attention to ask where our starter was. By this point weâve been at our table nearly an hour and a half. I said enough was enough as there was no sign of our food arriving and if we could have the bill minus the service charge. The manageress came over as she had been told we werenât happy and in fairness could not apologise enough. I did explain things would have been better if their staff were more focused on customer service and just keeping customers informed as to what was going on etc as it was so obvious how long we were sitting there without food .. or drinks ! They did not charge us for our bottle of wine or the one starter we had. Overall I think they were having a bad night as we were hearing other tables complaining and as we were walking out the door another customer was asking for the Manager. I hope they get back to how they were as itâs a lovely place to go."

"Set in the picturesque village of Blakeney where you can enjoy a walk before or after dinner, The Moorings has a simple yet pleasant decor where the team work hard to prepare fresh (mainly) fish dishes without a chip in sight. As with all fresh food restaurants the menu isn't over-long but provides plenty of choice. On the evening that we visited they were full and perhaps a little overworked as the wait was a tiny bit longer than you might expect but it was worth the wait. And they're busy for a reason. The desserts weren't quite up to the rest of the menu (sorry Angela) but our group throughly enjoyed our visit and would happily return."

"This is the second time we've visited the Standard. The first time was lovely so we took different friends again. Second visit not so enjoyable. The food is good, no complaints there and the service is also good. But they have a bar which is in the same area as the table for dining. There is also some couches in the window for people to sit and drink. There was a large party of very noisy women standing at the bar. They did not eat. The music was extremely loud. The door kept getting left open by customers and one of us had to keep getting up and closing it, the staff didn't seem to notice. Perhaps get a self closing returner on the door? Our table was right next to the bar (the only other tables that seated 4 were by the toilets! . The room is very dark, but the waitress was very accommodating and turned the lights up for us so we could see the menu! We seemed to be the only people all night who were actually eating. It was extremely difficult to have a conversation and we were shouting at each other all evening which was not very relaxing. I think The Standard need to decide whether they want to be a bar with loud music and drinking, or a restaurant, but it is too small to be both. It is probably fine for a lunch time meal but not the evening. Suffice to say we won't be returning on a Saturday night, which is a shame because the food is really good."

"The location and atmosphere of the place is beautiful, but it is not a recommended place for vegetarian or vegan. The pizzas from Crazy Pedro's, Maguires or American Pizza Slice are much more beautiful, for example, and more meat-free options in these too. The selection is limited in Santa Maluco and I had a piece of meat on my Mac And Cheese Pizza. (what was missing from Mac anyway)"

"We came to this restaurant for a date night and were extremely disappointed. We were seated promptly and placed our order, but after waiting for 50 minutes, our food (pizza and chicken salad) had not arrived, despite other tables receiving their orders. We had to inquire about our food and were told it would be 5 more minutes without any explanation for the delay. When our food finally arrived, I requested some mayo which was brought to our table without any interaction from the staff, as it was clear we were unhappy. The food was average at best, with my friend not even finishing his pizza and me ordering fries separately, unaware that they were supposed to come with my meal (not listed on the menu). When it came time to pay, no one asked if everything was satisfactory with our meal, as they seemed to know we were dissatisfied. It is unfortunate that we had such a negative experience at a place we had been looking forward to trying, and now do not anticipate returning."
