"Visited on a Sunday lunchtime. Bit of a mixed experience. Waiting staff very friendly and obviously trying hard. Food not great, including a panacotta that was advertised as coming with a fruit sauce that turned out to be a spoonful of strawberry jam! It was taken off the bill when we complained but shouldn't have been served in the first place. Feels like an unloved outpost of the Benugo empire."

Kind and helpful employees. It was very easy to reserve for our group of 8. Food tasted great, overall we were very pleased. Thank you!

Very friendly service. My portion was very small (Thai Green Curry), not great value for money. But I had a few good experiences and will go back. View menu

The place is nice just next to the Museum of London in Barbican : high celing, lots of light. But the place is cold, like the service. The card is short, the food is nothing surprising. Fair overall but would I return ? Probably not.

We had a very early lunch so the restaurant was quiet at first. But the food was excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. Great when visiting the Museum of London with children or the Barbican Centre and Theatre. Most enjoyable, will go again when visiting these other venues.

Extremely slow service. We waited ages for our starter. The for the mains, 3 of the 4 of us were served first, the 4th person had to wait 10 mins for his main. My main was not hot either, luke warm at best. Tip was built into the bill too! Really poor effort all round, cannot recommend. View menu

The restaurant is convenient for the Museum of London. Food is fairly bland and expensive for what is supplied. Staff are really nice but it does not have the ambiance of a good restaurant. Would be a good idea to vary the menu perhaps with special daily dishes. It is convenient and quick.

The food was nice and it was a convenient location as we were in the museum but they were clearly very understaffed and service was very very slow. There were a few arguments between the waiters and chefs about time it took to prepare food as well which was a bit awkward as the kitchen/bar opens onto the restaurant. It might be a one off, but unfortunately on my experience, I wouldn't return.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
